T O P I C R E V I E WDelilahCan anyone tell me about their experience with this aspect? My mom and I both have Juno conjunct Pluto in our charts and I worry because I know all too well of what she went through and what I've read. Are people with this link destined for abusive relationships? In my own experience, I tend to attract guys who love to talk down to me, threaten me, and try to dominate me whenever there's the slightest bit of competition. My conjunction is wider than my mom's, but Pluto is the closest planet to my Juno- Juno is at 27 deg Libra and Pluto at 3 deg Scorpio.Ami AnneThis should be the opposite of abusive relationships from what I understand. Your Juno would be strengthened by Pluto so you would be super Juno not weakened so you would be abused.------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personalityJung You must lose your life for My sake in order to find it . Jesus He who controls his Spirit is greater than he who controls a city ProverbsDelilahStrength was discovered at the end of each relationship, but they all had explosive endings, for my mom I mean. For me, whenever a relationship ended I felt abandoned. According to bobmarks, the conjunction is a hard aspect and the individual will either be empowered or dominated by a powerful mate. Other sites have said that there is a possibility of abandonment and the person with the natal aspect will likely leave as they cannot take the intensity. I hope that none of these scenarios are always true. CrazyAquarianPluto doesn't equal abuse. It can manifest in many ways, that is just one possibility. It could just be very powerful and intense people/relationships.DelilahI know that Pluto isn't strictly about abuse, especially in aspect to Juno. But I haven't seen anything to suggest that the harsh aspects mean anything other than manipulation, abuse, possessiveness, obsessiveness, and a struggle for power. The only famous people I know of who have this aspect are Debbie Reynolds and Lisa Novak (not too sure of her first name, but do you remember the astronaut who drove across the country to kill the other woman in her love triangle?). Debbie Reynolds was left by her first husband for Elizabeth Taylor. Lisa Novak was spurned by her lover for another woman. Maybe in Novak's case this aspect points to hypocrisy as well- "no one else can have you, but me." But then that doesn't describe her husband since she was obsessed with the other man. I say this only because Juno and the aspects to it are supposed to describe the spouse. In each case, this aspect wasn't good for them.If this doesn't make much sense, I haven't had much sleep and really want to know other opinions than the ones floating around in my head.lalalindaLet's share this with Asteroid Astrology dysfunctionalmysticIt may refer to men that have a plutonian profession such as doctors, surgeons or even an undertaker. I think part of the problem is that most of the people on the planet express these energies negatively but to be fair, the outer planets are difficult to manage.Pluto also has a hand in psychotherapy etcBecause you can see what went wrong with your mum it may drive you to get more understanding of dynamics (which it clearly is doing if you're posting here)You may well get a more positive manifestation of the energies as a result. Because Pluto is conjunct YOUR natal Juno it may indicate that you have a choice to hold onto or give away your power to your "husband". In your mum's case she probably gave that power away. The thing is...the other person isn't usually equipped to handle the energy because it is not theirs by birthright. Hope I made some sense.Regulus18 quote:Originally posted by CrazyAquarian:Pluto doesn't equal abuse. It can manifest in many ways, that is just one possibility.
