Voix_de_la_Mer | It's bad isn't it? I don't even drink! |
ReadingTheStars95 | Hmm, as far as I am concerned, Bacchus actually only has so much to do with drinking.. When I think of Bacchus, I think a lot more of indulgence, and the spirit of wildness.. lol. Sometimes becoming a relatively sexual energy.. Of course, Bacchus does resonate with wine, and alcohol.. But, I personally think a lot more of Ritual and primal energy. Generally, combined together. I think Bacchus's energy can be quite chaotic, in its own way.. I personally have Bacchus conjunct my Juno. |
LeeLoo2014 | I don't think so. I would think of Dionysiac experiences of all kinds, in relation to Venusian energies. For a Cap Venus it could certainly be an advantage (dionysiac energy is very much about spontaneity) unless going too much on the other side (Cap Venus = well known for sometimes being extremely lustful ) http://www.mlahanas.de/Greeks/LX/DionysianMysteries.html |

Hmm. A ritualistic, primal, wild VENUS. Perhaps that's why I don't need the wine! How does it express with JUNO? |
ReadingTheStars95 | Lol.. Maybe I tend to associate Bacchus a bit with Pan.. But, Pan, to me, is a bit less ritualistic. I could be wrong. Then again, some tales say that Pan was possibly a Son of Bacchus.. So, I'm not entirely certain. I'll get back to how I believe Bacchus and Juno works out for me a bit later lol.. |

LeeLoo that is a great way to look at it. Perhaps BACCHUS has saved me from being too stony! Spirit possession, trance states, death, rebirth, and dancing in the mountains. Forgive me. But that sounds awesome! I would never leave |

Aubyanne | I've always laughed at my EROS conjunct BACCHUS. I mean, it's exact! 0º10! |

You're on! By the way, I don't drink, either. Never have. It's just not something I've ever enjoyed. Hence, my amusement. |

I used it to numb out. But the length of its effects, and its costs in terms of lack of control and destruction were not worth it in the end. It brought me more problems than I already had. I guess I've created a self and life I don't want to run away from now. I want to feel and explore every moment to my core. Anyway, back to the mountains. What are you wearing? I'm thinking strategically draped, rainbow coloured veils. And perhaps a crown of shells |

I think Venus conjunct Bacchus is a wild Venus someone who doesn't follow the regular path. This Venus has an independent streak will want to do want she thinks is right. Living life on own terms. I guess a sort of gypsy. ------------------ Free Information on Love Astrology |
