T O P I C R E V I E Wthatonegirllolhellohow are you guys finding the meaning of different asteroids? is it that you read up on the backstory behind the name of the asteroid and apply it to charts using common sense? Ami AnneYes and most especially, use it in charts. Do as many charts as you can. You have to have hands on experience and pick the brains of the people for whom you are doing the charts.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? The universe is ordered. You are ordered. You need to really sit with an asteroid and put it in many charts so YOU can know it as a you would a friend. How does it act in various charts? Then, you can get a set of asteroids you can trust will respond as they have shown you they would------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/HeavenlyLoveThank you very much, Ami Ann,and sorry that I tried to just translate my thoughts in rather compressed, complex sentences into my much less than perfect English. Normally I never write in English and never in any forums yet.I will certainly follow your advice, in fact I'm doing something like what I'm guessing you mean : Combining facts from experience and analysis with intuition while connecting with the 'spirit/being' of the asteroid - as a friend - if I'm not over-interpretating your words.I personally see and sense heavenly objects - as all other things in the universe, material or not - as manifestations of different aspects of God.Hence they can talk to us, and as it is mentioned in old scriptures, even in Genesis, the stars and planets are created for this. What I wanted to know is, if the discovery-chart of any asteroid always has an influence on/ does correspond to its meaning, according to your practical experience. And if that discovery-chart always corresponds with the asteroid's physical appearance, location, movement, name and the names (mythical) background/meaning.And are the physical factors etc...and the name/meaning of name a reflection of your experiences from your readings of peoples' charts ?I am asking this, because only if you can find these matches, the possibility gets smaller, that you see something in a chart, seemingly related to that specific asteroid or planet, while it is actually related to something else in the chart.Less risk for mixing things up, because you simply have some confirmations for the asteroids real meanings. But I might be wrong, as I lack experience with some asteroids and I don't have any clients, as you have.Maybe there are exceptions, where none of the factors listed above seems to reflect the other, but still the asteroid works always like expected ?------------------As for me, all I know is I know nothing. In every person there is a sun, just let them shine. 🌄Both quotes from Socrates.📜RandallBump!Ami AnneI would answer like this. I never looked into the discovery of the asteroid, so cannot comment on that. However, if you try to do this, you will find good answers.Try to take the SIMPLEST meaning of the asteroid. People complicate asteroids so much that every asteroid can mean everything. For example, Nessus is abuse. You could complicate it to say Nessus is growth and learning and all sorts of stuff that makes little sense. If you complicate it, you can never really work with asteroids well imho------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/RandallBump!arcturus90I agree with Amy AnnSometimes I search the name of any asteroid I pick in the list, according to the name, and it happens that it means something in a foreign language, for example japanese. For example : asteroid Yamaneko. it means "wild cat" in japanese.and asteroid Furusato. it means : the native hometown, old village, old house...Sometimes I have a word in mind and ask myself if there is any asteroid named after this, I search and it happens that there is an asteroid named after that.however I'm a little lazy to read the whole story of a name of an asteroid. I shorten. except maybe if I find an asteroid that I find really interesting, maybe in this case I would read more about it.

For example, Nessus is abuse. You could complicate it to say Nessus is growth and learning and all sorts of stuff that makes little sense.
