My amethyst was being washed over by a flow of golden water... very pretty. And why the crystal in my dream was an amethyst? Alchemically, 'golden' is the final stage in the process of transformation. I will let you know if I figure it all out! My Saturn Return occured for me last year so maybe it's to do with that... Amethyst is an extremely healing and loving crystal, and your dream may have meant that the universe was channeling is loving and healing energy through that crystal to help you along. It may have been a message that your crystal is in need of cleasing, or that it has a message to impart.
