T O P I C R E V I E WladygagarinSorry, this will be disturbing.Over the night, I had this long dream that involved me investigating the murder of multiple children. I saw their bodies in a ditch, also their ghosts just standing there and looking back at me. I think the murderer was a man.Next, I was staning on a street talking to some people. They pointed out that I am pregnant and soon will give birth. And I did go into labor right then... and gave birth to bees. I just birthed some honey-goo with bees. Also managed to shat myself in the dream. People stood around me and witnessed, but I didn't feel shame or fear. I was slightly surprised, and thought "okay but how will I know all of the bees got out of me?"In real life, I really like bees. I used to have really messed up pregnancy dreams as a teen, but this was a whole new level of absurd.EmsieSometimes I dream of pregnancy as well. For me it usually means that something new - like a new phase of my life - is in the making. And when I give birth, then it marks the start of it.Once I dreamed of giving birth in my mom's bed and exactly on her side of the bed. It was the start of me taking care of and nurturing myself. When I read about bees I immediately thought of colonies and bee hives. These are highly organised animals having structure and hierarchy, and a common cause to feed and protect the offspring and the queen bee.Honey is basically a product of pollen which "transforms" within bees. For this part of your dream I'd say there will be a new beginning in your life regarding something you've been working very hard for (nurturing and protecting) which at the end will pay off and turn into a sweet reward (honey) you can enjoy for a while. I might be wrong, but I got the impression that your pregnant belly was basically a bee hive where honey was produced. RandallThat was a wild dream. AyeletHi Ladygagarin, that was not disturbing at all I liked what Emsie wrote you about a new beginning in your life. I'd also say productiveness and creativity might take place, because bees are natural workers, and you might identify with them.It is interesting that giving birth takes place after the investigation of the children's murder. It could be that some process or something you planned has come to an untimely end, and you get, or are going to get, a second chance to bring issues into fruition. When you wonder whether all the bees has come out of you (if I understood correctly), perhaps you feel like you have even more to give out of yourself...What do you think?ladygagarinWell it's definitely worth to think about it that way. I am a very creative person, working as a freelancer artist beside my day job. And recently I been thinking about how could I change into a full-time artist, or at least get more time to work on personal projects. There have been also major changes in my relationship with my mother and my boyfriend. I wonder if the dream could be related to that? Hmmm...RandallThanks, Ayelet.AyeletWell, concerning your question, you are a mother in this dream. Other than that, I haven't got a clue RaHello ladygagarin Your dream could indeed have to do with changes in your relationships. Hmmm ...I'll be back with some thoughts on that. RaThis dream revolves around a death/rebirth motif, so it indicates some change or transformation in your life and/or in an inner process. This dream suggests that you may be thinking about a waking-life situation (investigating) in which you feel certain aspects of yourself (children) have been improperly treated, disrespected, or even destroyed (murdered) by someone else, likely a man (murderer was a man). As aspects of yourself, the children could symbolize innocence, unfinished growth processes, or other “childish” or child-like aspects. It could also be suggested that you feel unheard, unseen, or otherwise invisible in some way (ghosts).Perhaps this is about the death/”murder” of a child-like dynamic with your mother? And/or with your boyfriend? What, if anything, does the relationship with your boyfriend have to do with the relationship with your mother? Why do you think you are having issues with both simultaneously? The dream then suggests that you have been developing an idea or other energy (pregnant) that is ready to materialize (give birth). Honey … nectar of life, food for the soul. Bees … organization, industriousness, new energy, emerging creativity. It is for you to decide what they mean, but it sounds to me like appropriate symbolism for your artistic thoughts and endeavors. It is suggested that, as you begin to “give birth” to this new energy, you will also be, at the same time, purging “unwanted matter” from your life (shat upon self). One goes with the other. There is a natural concern about the complete manifestation/expression of your ideas (How will I know the bees are out?) ladygagarinWow, Ra!This seems on point... "you feel certain aspects of yourself (children) have been improperly treated, disrespected, or even destroyed (murdered) by someone else, likely a man..."I was in an abusive relationship prior the current one. I was also abused physically and emotionally as a child."Perhaps this is about the death/”murder” of a child-like dynamic with your mother? What, if anything, does the relationship with your boyfriend have to do with the relationship with your mother? Why do you think you are having issues with both simultaneously?"I've recently distanced myself from my mother, to heal from the childhood traumas. Though I know I will benefit from this later, it's a really difficult, painful process.Meanwhile my boyfriend also had fights with his own mother, which wouldn't be that much of a problem if he wasn't still living at home. Which makes moving in together kind of... complicated.I can't save my relationship with my mother, and don't know where it's going with my boyfriend. It's a bit too much to handle at once. And since I'm closer to 30 now than 20, the whole thing about babies and all got more relevant."The dream then suggests that you have been developing an idea or other energy (pregnant) that is ready to materialize (give birth)... it sounds to me like appropriate symbolism for your artistic thoughts and endeavors." If only I could figure out which idea is from all the things I've planned to do, but never managed to get started on."It is suggested... you will also be, at the same time, purging “unwanted matter” from your life... There is a natural concern about the complete manifestation/expression of your ideas"Pretty sure the unwanted matter is all the negative voices and bad thinking resulting from the bad childhood. Mostly related to my mother.ladygagarinThe bees and my mother appeared in my dream last night again. A single bee tried to land on my shoulder and I kept screaming and crying for my mother to help, I was so scared of getting stung. My mother laughed, then gave me some pills (against allergic reaction?) then laughed more after telling me it was just placebo.RaSorry I missed your reply. This last dream seems to speak to the abusive issues with your mother, and perhaps hints that these issues may play a part in difficulties you have cultivating your creative energies.
