outofideas | Hey everyone! I had a dream today that I thought should not be neglected... I was outside on my balcony and there was a small green lizard on the railing that was looking at me. In general I love lizards and think they are extremely cute so I thought I should approach it. As soon as I made my move, or maybe set out my intention to approach it, it quickly ran away and I then saw it appear for a brief moment on the building across me but then it disappeared again. It was out of reach there anyway. So I thought I'd check what this might mean online and I keep finding articles that this means I have an enemy that will harm me or if I am in a relationship then my partner is cheating on me, etc. Well, I am single but I do have a bit of an eye for someone that I've been getting my hopes up for. Maybe I will find this was all futile and/or a third person is already involved? I have been sensing some 'danger' lately anyway, partly revolving this situation maybe. It is a complicated one and also quite a bit is at stake, so it is not as simple as just liking someone but there is a lot more to be considered, hence my worry that I am being 'warned' in some way. What are your thoughts on my dream? Thank you! |
Randall | I thought that, generally speaking, lizards were good omens? |
Ayelet | Hi Outofideas, I'll be with you in a day or two. |

Randall | Looking forward to your take on it. |
Ayelet | Hi Outofideas, If you like lizards, then the lizard may signify something positive for you. But, because she disappears, it may mean a slippery situation, where someone or something attracts you but is out of reach. Does this resonate in any way? |
outofideas | Hey Ayelet and Randall, thank you both for responding! As you have suggested, if I love lizards then the dream may signify something positive for me or be of a good omen. But it disappeared so quickly, it felt like I was never supposed to get a hold of it anyway. Perhaps there was an opportunity that I failed to seize quickly and is now completely gone. Often in my life I feel like I am very near to where I want to be with something but then there is a twist of things and I have to start over. Like being teased with what I could have but I'm not actually meant to really have it so it disappears. |
mirage29 | I live in an area that is filled with those cute little lizards. They do us a Service by eating little bugs, gnats, mosquitos. Even the more-ambitious ones will eat cockroaches, and creepies I'd rather not dwell upon! LOL Yes. These remind me of little fast quick nervous-systems. They have fun! They do little cute push-ups. They defend their territories. They are VERY COLORFUL in the way they attract a mate to themselves. You don't need to 'do' a whole lot to attract in what you want, Outofideas. It's like a vidder I heard the other day... Used an example of ordering food from a restaurant menu. You sit at the table, waitress takes your order, then you talk sociably with someone you have with you (maybe). The waiter/waitress BRINGS you what you order. You don't need to go chasing the waitress, hovering in the kitchen to watch if the chef prepares it correctly, check on the cleanliness of kitchen, etc. You TRUST. You order up what you would like (or think you would like) then you WAIT, and you TRUST the Timing. {ref Greg Scott from UK} Green.... hmmmmmm. Heart Chakra??? What would your Heart Desire?
Peace, Healing, Balance and Love to you.... *hugs* |
mirage29 | The response you wrote to Ayelet and Randall-- sounds like your 'fears' haunting you again? Think of what you 'want' to happen FOR your life... Don't worry about what's behind you... Protect your thoughts and emotional life, Culture a palpable Possibility aura... Let it nurture you. Let the nutrition of that steep and add to your soul. Heal your wounds... You Are So Loved *hugs* |
outofideas | Aww mirage29 thank you once again for your compassion and insights! You are probably right - it may have been an unreasonable fear that was surfacing there, not all of my dreams are prophetic I have not really noticed this dream playing some role in my conscious life, unless it's something I didn't notice or missed. the association you made with the kitchen and just trusting instead resonated a lot with me, in parts probably due to my NN in Pisces and my plutonic nature of needing to often keep things in check. I do try to let go a bit and feel more relaxed but it seems I have accumulated some stress and bad patterns along the years that need eradicating. |
