T O P I C R E V I E WAtlantic MystI once read on the internet that capricorn women tend to choose weak men. All capricorn women I know personally and they are lots live with men they support. They complain all the time yet go on for years dealing with it. My friend who is a capricorn is the same way. Her mother who is a cap also supported her father for years. My sister is doing the same thing. What are your views?------------------~*~ Cusp: Gemini/Cancer, Cancer rising, Taurus moon ~*~Let's go...whiterabbitHmm..I don't see Capricorn women being of a temperament to CHOOSE weak men. I think perhaps they attract into their lives men who are less "powerful" (financially, whatever) than they are. Because they are such towers of strength, almost always succesful, confident, powerful. The type of men who are drawn to them may be lacking precisely those qualities. Then they end up in these relationship and their earthyness and hardworking, determined natures keeps them sticking with those men...Atlantic MystMy sister was once speaking to her friend a capricorn mle who stated caps do that alot because they like to push people and help them be successful. The women I know are sweethearts. My siser too. When she's not bossy or treating me like a big baby :/------------------~*~ Cusp: Gemini/Cancer, Cancer rising, Taurus moon ~*~Let's go...AenUsually astrology books keep telling that Capricorns are attracted by money and power. I'm a Cappy woman and I used to support my ex financially from time to time. There were periods my income was simply much better and that was a natural thing to do. However, I never saw him *weak*. It simply happened so, that his work that he loved just wasn't paid well for. I've seen other Cappy women supporting their men for similar reasons. Successful business woman and university lectures, for example.astro junkiewhiterabbit -That's exactly what I was thinking ...and with the addition of Atlantic Myst -I wouldn't say "martyr", but more like Pollyanish ... perhaps ------------------- ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darknessangel_of_hopefor me its weird I feel I dont fit the typical cappy woman. I luv to take care of peole and help people. And i tend to see guys that need help and immediatly think to my self, if I got with him I could luv him, I could give him support and get him away from all that (whatever it may be) I really could careless about money and powere in that sense. Maybe its the power of helping someone, knowing that im needed like that. Thats the ulitmate high for me. But in another sense its not good to want and feel the need to change people if they are unwillign to change themselves. But with my feelign of needed to take care of them, could mean I choose weak men, who need help, or that I see need help. dunno, that one got me thinking ....ang-sunny6i think capricorn women that i have know like men who have the potential to become very sucessful and try to help them ie supporting them for awhile to motivate them to the potential they see in the man.AzalakshAtlantic Myst ~I have a Cappy friend with Aries Rising, Cap Moon & Venus in Pisces. She spent 3 years living with and supporting someone I would call "weak" -- a Cappy guy 11 years her senior. He was really easy on the eyes, but he had a dead-end job, an ex-wife, a son he didn't care about, and all he was interested in was sports, movies and going to the bar -- not your typical Cappy guy planning for and building a secure future! She put up with this crap until she found out he was seeing other women, then she dumped him. I can see how he would be attracted to her, a "mommy" to take care of him, earn the money & pay the bills, feed him and keep his sheets sweet. Here she was, holding down a full-time job and taking 3 classes at night school to become a CPA, steadily working her way towards her goal, and yet standing by this creep (until he did the unforgiveable).I agree with whiterabbit.sue gMy mother is a Cappy and my father Aries and I think she was drawn to his childlikeness. He leaned on her all his life, although we were always fooled into believing he was the strong one. She was very strong and patient, albeit a little cold, but like that mountain goat just kept going, but until the last few years she mothered him and guess what now she is ill he is having to mind her..........oh how the tables can turn hey? I never found her to be affectionate particulary, but loyal and reliable xHeart--Shaped CrossPeople bring various gifts to a relationship. I think, in the best relationships, the individuals tend to complement each other in such a way as to enable both their greatest strengths and apparent weaknesses to develop and flourish. Whether male or female, Capricorns (like Taureans and Virgos) are generally well equiped to making a (material) living in this world. But they do have an equal tendency to lack alternative resources (relationship skills, enthusiasm, levity; sensitive, expressive, abstract, and/or emotive natures, etc.); qualities which, although relatively psychical, and invisible to the physical eye, can prove ultimately just as important as other, more conventionally practical means of support. By association with natives of other elements, we can learn to tap into those relatively dormant parts of ourselves which respond (directly or indirectly) to them, and the development of which we would otherwise be more than likely to neglect.------------------Judgement is the antithesis of understanding.sue gVery well written HSC, thankyou Mystic DreamzIf I had a great job I'd support my family anyway.
