GemGemGem | Have you ever had a long term, stable love relationship where you didn't feel like running, or suddenly breaking free? |
Lara | oh god GGG l have this knack for picking men with venus/uranus conjunct/square/opposition. I think it must be the venus quincunx uranus in me! None of them have been runners but all of them can't settle down - mind you, neither can i! |

amowls | I have Venus in the 10th in Pisces squaring Uranus in the 7th in Sagittarius. People would describe me as the relationship type. I'm always in a relationship or I'm always at least DATING someone. From the age of 17 to 19 I had a boyfriend, I dumped him when Pluto squared my Venus and was conjunct my Uranus. I have jumped from guy to guy since then (it's been a little more than a year) and landed on my current boyfriend and we've been dating for 6 months now. Usually it seems that the guy I date doesn't want to settle with ME. I think it's because we project our 7th house, so I don't readily identify with Uranus. There was a good post on here about Venus and Uranus. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/018132.html Mind you, I also have Venus square Saturn because my Saturn and Uranus are conjunct. And I have a 5th house Libra Moon. |
Diandra23 | im a venus/uranus sqaure ( 7 degree). im currently in longterm loving relationship. i have no thought or need to run away to be free. I just wanna be in this loved state forever. i need love,to love and be loved in order to have my cozy world where i can run to. in my case i dont thing uranus/venus oposition means the need to be free...i think it makes me out of control when handling money, usually i have little and when i see it,i have in fact less :P And this aspect might make me atracted to unsual man,but much of the typf of being original, unique and "ahead of times" it is my bf! i have aqua in the 5th btw |
Green Fairy | Venus opp. Uranus here The trouble with this placement is that I tend to frequently question my self, my choices and motives. i just recently realized I have never been really, deeply in love. Also, my crushes seem to be.. random. Completely out of nowhere. I might know a guy for a loooonnngg time and then one day, I look at him and poof! I'm hooked. |
missneptune | Uh, so far no long term relationships for me, although I want one! I've got Uranus in the 1st opposing Venus(Gemini) in the 7th, so double whammy for nooo commitment, but I'm still young. I also tend to attract aloof no commitment types, which really doesn't help things... |
leapinglemur14 | i have venus oppose uranus but a wide orb, Geo told me that it really shouldn't affect me too much but i relate to quite a few things i've read. i don't like routine things and when a relationship feels routine then it's over. i have this grass is greener on the other side thing, where i'm never satisfied with what i have. i have this constant urge to keep moving, idk where but as long as its not where i was before. i also tend to attract non-commitment types, although they just don't want to commit to me. |
virgotaurustaurus | I have Venus in 5th square Uranus in 7th - longezt relationship was a year, and I still feel that it was an absolute mistake. I wanted to run off throughout half of it because the guy was a jerk. And that is why none of my other relationships lasted very long - soooo many jerks out there. Now I just don't even bother dating because I don't see the point! |
enchantress299 | I have Uranus in the 1st squaring Venus in the 9th. On the one hand I do want a stable long term relationship, on the other hand, I'm picky and I don't want to compromise my freedom for someone I feel halfheartedly about. The ones I don't feel halfheartedly about usually fall apart very quickly, so I've been stuck in this quandary for awhile. I'm trying to work out the kinks. Also, it doesn't help that the guys I attract are not only "interesting" but also they are usually not very stable in some form or fashion, whether that be emotionally, financially, etc. I have a Taurus DC and so stability of all forms is important for me in a relationship before I can fully commit to someone. ------------------ Virgo Sun/Aries Moon/Scorpio Rising |
meta_4 | There will be an enternal sense of restlessness. A lack of satisfaction. Not because there's ALWAYS something wrong with your partner, but because when you & your partner are together for a while things start to become predictable. The excitement dies down. The new-ness whithers away and you become anxious that there is nothing more to come. You NEED to be inspired and taken by surprise by your lover. And whenever you're not anymore, the connection suffers. You suffer. Venus/Uranus people need spontaneity and uncertainty. Which isn't bad- it's romantic. Well, it becomes bad after you start throwing away every relationship you have because it's too stable. |
emma_duncan | i know someone with venus (10th house) trine uranus (2nd house). this person is incredibly lucky in finding v good friends who help in his career and life |
Green Fairy | Ahh.. picky is the magic word. |
GemGemGem | Quote: "There will be an enternal sense of restlessness. A lack of satisfaction. Most of the people I know with hard aspects btwn Uranus andVenus are still single, and never seem to be able to last very long in a relationship. I have this aspect as well, the opposition. I started this thread to see if maybe there was hope. |
Yin | amowls, your Libra Moon cancels out everything. What do you do when you are on your own? Just curious because I have a Libra moon and cannot stand being alone. |
