T O P I C R E V I E W26taurusan excerpt: quote:"This is arguably the world's most uncompromising aspect, one that brings out the destructive little boy in all of us, itchin' for a fight, dangerous behind the wheel, or blindly running into walls. Fortunately, humanistic astrology has taught us that every aspect has its constructive purpose and meaning, and this one is no exception. Mars-Uranus is made for overthrowing tyrants, including boredom, by going against the grain and carving out new paths of work, passion, and invention. We may explode in the brilliance of discovery that releases pent-up libido, wasted energy, and misplaced anger. This is not about turning swords into plowshares but turning them into light sabers that slice through the darkness of ignorance to illuminate a better way."Jeff JawerTMA forecastAlthough this was part of a forecast, I think it applies to people with this natal aspect as well. At least, I could relate to it that way. What do you think?Mars in Leo square Uranus in Scorpio heart cakeshmm.. i have this natally, but it might be too wide (9 deg). i'm not much of an angst ridden wall-bumper, but i am an overthrower at heart, that is forsure.augentierI have this natally, too..Mars in Pisces, Uranus in Sagittarius..yeah you could say i have anger/aggression/impulse issues lol..ErickaFI don't think 9 is too wide, my brother is a Cancer with mars squared uranus, also 9 degree...he is EXTREMELY impulisve.Dulce LunaI have this with mars in aries and uranus at the end of Sag. I do have a bit of flashpan anger issue when I've been pushed far enough. But I try not to act on impulse as much as I use to.LoveI don't have this aspect, but I know a lot of people who do. At it's core, it's about rebellion. I think the impulsivity comes from feeling as though one has been placed in a box or labeled in some way. The immediate reaction is to prove that one cannot be controlled or defined so easily, so if you say "Don't" to this person, then they will surely "Do". If any energy, including rebellion, is channeled in a positive manner, then it could definitely be constructive! Dazzledaugentier, I have Mars in Pisces and Uranus in Sag too Exact square so it might be prominent in my chart. When I thought about this aspect, immediately this phrase resounded in my mind "Somebody stop meh!" -- Said by The Mask.I think The Mask would probably have this aspect. Inner depthsI have it.....Uranus in Libra Square to Mars in Capricorn and both are involved in a T square with my Sun in Aries.I usually put a rein on my temper and once in a blue moon I'll explode - if it is warranted. I would say that I am definitely impulsive and pushy but I TOTALLY know what's going on behind the scenes...I have a sixth sense about things....so I feel forced to push information out of people, make them say what they are thinking. Just to prove to them that they know too. I have some flash in the pan anger....which I don't regret, because it's never malicious! I am as honest as they come, I don't skirt truths, I push that **** right up in your face so you can see it clearly in a good way, haha I have learned to accept my Uranus-iness. So has my husband of 12 years...(we had a 5 year break! LOL)next to neptuneI'm a virgo girl...I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I always feel this in a more subtle, intellectual way... I like to be the rebel, but I actually also feel very uncomfortable with it...I just got my drivers license, and he told me that I was driving too slow...I hope this continue, cause I don't wan't to be provoked by any speed-idiots...!Sometimes I build up an anger inside me, especially against authoritative people, or people who try to command with me...I hate this! But I'm able to control my anger to a certain point...I have enough realistic sense to know when it's not the right time to explode in anger...but I can never make friends with an authoritative personality, it's like my whole body is against it, but I can ignore them and act like they don't exist..NewriseI have mars opposite Uranus, I can also relate KeroseneI relate to this too.starlitroad quote:Originally posted by Love:I don't have this aspect, but I know a lot of people who do. The funny thing is that he's a Leo, and I have Leo rising, so combined with the Uranus aspects, there is no way either of us is going to do anything someone else suggests. I don't drive recklessly (I'm pretty cautious, although I do drive in the fast lane and go above the speed limit on most days).

Mars in Leo square Uranus in Scorpio
If any energy, including rebellion, is channeled in a positive manner, then it could definitely be constructive!
When I thought about this aspect, immediately this phrase resounded in my mind "Somebody stop meh!" -- Said by The Mask.I think The Mask would probably have this aspect. Rebelliousness? Check. Impulsiveness? Check. Drive/Aggression/Instability? Check check check.
I know I get into accidents very often. When I was younger, I love to stick my fingers into rotating fan blades, destroy machines, fall into drains and stuff.

Leo Mars sq Scorpio Uranus too

I think 9 degrees is way too wide for a square.
I think that the impulsivity can be reflected by other Mars aspects in the chart as well as even midpoint pictures that involve Mars,Uranus and even other Mars midpoint configurations
it could also be that they have closer orb in Right Ascension
3 midpoint configurations of Mars,Uranus:Uranus oppose Mars/Saturn - '13Sun semisquare Mars/Uranus - '15Uranus sesquiquadrate Moon/Mars - '45
in Right Ascension, Mars sesquiquadrate Uranus - '18
my Mars is in Aquarius (both tropical and ecliptic constellation zodiacs)
