Lonake | OK Here are 3 that I like, out of the probably hundreds that are out there!, very readable with new info and lots of archives, Art & Astrology http://art-astrology.blogspot.com/ "There is a pattern in the charts of artists that I like to show you. Combinations of aspects of Moon, Venus and Neptune with Midheaven and the signs that they rule are frequent in the charts of painters, musicians, singers, composers and movie stars. There is an index of about 200 astrology charts below." Yea I like to study talent, so wat! Astropost http://astropost.blogspot.com/ I like this one cos they (is it a he or she or what, they're ALWAYS writing!) go all over the board from lottery winners to pop culture to murderers to politicians (OK so whats the difference! ) puts up new items ALL THE TIME, and delineates the minor aspects v.well. The Inner Wheel http://alcuin9.wordpress.com/ She's the hottest thing out there for re-learning the basics in a new/expanded way. Great breadth of vision her articles cover natals as well as many articles on synastry, she's also available to answer synastry Q's in a Q&A section, which I'll link here anyway since thats what you'll clamor for: http://alcuin9.wordpress.com/category/synastry-q-a/ and it's companion, Synastry Studies http://alcuin9.wordpress.com/category/synastry/synastry-studies/ Don't stay up all night, now What else is good out there? |
mermaid26 | Thanks Lonake! The Inner Wheel looks like a goldmine for me. |
Diablo | Thanks heaps, Lonake! Much appreciated, love anything to do with new info I reckon everyone should post their fave astrology blogs/sites that they have found useful, helpful and insightful. My faves are Julie Dembroski and Anne Ortelee..but everyone would be familiar with those already. My ultimate fave is Jonathan Cainer but I'm spewing he only does daily horoscopes. But i do love the way he describes things in a philosophical way. His are the only daily horoscope i can read, and he's pretty much spot on all the time, for me anyways. |
katatonic | i like planet waves daily, tho i have not gone into the belly of the beast their newsletters are usually very good!! |

Node | reading Inner Wheel March 10 post: quote: I Don’t Know’s on ThirdDue to a heavy barrage of questioning recently, I’m going to jump in and tackle that most unsexy of houses, the 3rd...
good article, I have Neptune and NN in the 3rd and have always in short terms considered it the *communication house* and important. the 3rd often is overlooked and skated over.. I am not sure why. |
Diablo | Not in my world I got sun and mars in my 3rd house |
Lonake | Mars 3rd here too |
Node | I found this inside the art/astrology blogspot from Lonakes' first post: interesting astropost

Node | How could I forget Rob Brezsny?? Anyone with both a Z and a Y in they're name has got to be good. Reading him for years in the local city paper...and online==>free will astrology teaser: Gemini Being a paragon of moral behavior can be fun and rewarding. It's amazing how many interesting people want to play with me just because they think I'm so #%&@ high-minded. But I've got to confess that my commitment to discipline and righteousness is sometimes at odds with my rebellious itch to give you mischievous nudges and outrageous challenges. Like right now, the conscientious teacher in me might prefer to advise you to keep a lid on debauchery, voracity, excess, uproar, slapstick, wise-cracking, fireworks, and limit-pushing. But the rabble-rousing agitator in me feels obligated to inform you that at no other time in 2010 will the karmic price be lower for engaging in such pursuits.
Rob has written the book Pronoia-the antidote to Paranoia.

Node | Adding: elsa elsa The one minute astrologer vids are great. Check them out. She has a refreshing / breezy approach that is weighted to common sense. She de-bunks and questions allot of what people hold as sacred. That appeals to me A fine sense of humor is always welcome as well. Some of the titles of the short vids:
- The limitations of astrology.
- The upside of criticism and negativity.
- Quit fixing people AKA: how to have no friends at all.
