T O P I C R E V I E WGlaucusI have been wondering about declination midpoints.Magi Astrologers use declination midpoints. They are not the only astrologers that use them. Cosmobiologists do too.In her book, COSMOBIOLOGY FOR THE 21ST CENTURY, Eleonora Kimmel uses declination midpoints. She wrote that Reinhold Ebertin published information about declinations since 1976. To derive the midpoint via declination he applies basically the same rules that are applied when calculating the midpoint in zodiacal longitude. "Node parallel Haumea/Asc - '01 - major life theme"
does it mean something along the lines of 'lifepath works directly with outward expression/physical manifestation of haumea'?
hmmmmmmm
Node is about associations,connections
Haumea is named after the Hawaiian Fertility Creation Goddess who children were born from being broken off from her body. The object had pieces broken off that became its moons and some independently orbiting objects due to a collision with another large transneptunian object. A lot of its ice was broken off, and so it's mainly stone. It has a 4 hour rotation, and so it's the fastest spinning object. It looks like a football that has been kicked. That's due to the collision. It can be associated with fertility, creativity, tranformation
This is what Philip Sedgwick wrote for preliminary keywords for Haumea:
Positive: Soulful confidence, an unshakeable personal inner knowing, creative, regenerative. Able to reconstruct, redefine, transform, especially regarding consciousness, willfulness and restoring rock solid integrity. Supportive. Fostering. Fertile. Creative.
Negative : Insecure and attention demanding. Dramatic. Egocentric. A bully disposition. Forces head-on collisions. Claims martyrdom and sacrifice to secure attention. Willing to attach to someone else’s momentum or allowing dependent sorts to attach to one’s efforts for self benefit (using non-paid volunteers, fans, devotees).
Mundane: Self awareness programs. Portraits and or caricatures. “Spin” as in political or media framing of events. Affinity or family bonds with those similar in nature. The Hula. The big island of Hawaii. Storm warnings to sailors in form or rainbow. Lava cooling in the sea to make land. Creation, fertility, childbirth and sisterhood. Verbal affirmations. Body sacrifice. Entourages. Groupies.
Ceremonial: Hulas, regeneration ceremonies, affirmations. Soul-based capitulation ceremonies (surrendering ego to spirit). Ceremonies in which a mask is removed (unmasking of the great Hopi kachina Saquasohuh).
Lunar bodies contributing to keywords: Hi’iaka, Namaka.
The Ascendant is viewed by cosmobiologists as relationships with others

Your Moon parallel Venus/Sedna seems to want a love that is not ordinary. I like that aspect. It's beautiful.
Your Pluto = Ascendant/Midheaven and Ceres = Sun/Moon are very interesting too.
I can't find a free program online that does Right Ascension midpoints.Solar Fire does, but it doesn't do transneptunian, centaur, asteroid midpoints unless they are Sedna,Eris, the 4 major asteroids, and Hygeia.
I am going to start a thread on conjunction, opposition midpoint to midpoint configurationsan orb of 30 minutes of arc for those. That's excluding the minor objects including Pluto.an orb of 15 minutes of arc and involving the Sun,Moon,Mercury,Midheaven could indicate a strong life theme.
I was actually thinking about the Moon=Venus/Sedna midpoint. It seemed significant as it is exact and including very female energies. I just wasn´t sure what it means. Wasn´t Sedna an indication for being "victimized" or do I mis-remember something?
yeah...victimization,betrayal,abuse
but it has positives too
just like any other object
according to Philip Sedgwick:
Positive - a forgiving disposition, discernment, clarity of perception, recognition of free will and choice, responsible, conscious of consequence, far thinking, dharma-oriented, does the homework of life
Negative - victimization, abuse, being deceived, history of betrayal, bitterness, “gold digging” attitude in relationship, transfers blame to others, numbs out, goes unconscious
Mundane - blubber, products made from sea mammals, whaling, diving bells that go into the dark of the sea, emotional healing, forgiveness, sorrow, engagement, masks, flight of the birds
Ceremonial - cleansing in the sea, propitiation to the sea, sea creatures, use of sea creature talismans (walrus tusk carvings, scrimshaw), ceremony with masks of sea creatures, ceremonial masks in general
Roy MacKinnon who has Sun conjunct Sedna wrote the following keywords for Sedna:
Victim, sacrifice sometimes unavoidable: transformation of victimhood – losses, possibly emotional, in mundane house where Sedna is, particularly if afflicted: inevitable fate – destiny: not of this world – worlds in collision – not of this culture, not of this time: uncovering that which is hidden, remote, unseen: concealed and acting unseen in an inky blackness: search for new knowledge in an alien world: issues around preservation of that which is untouched, essential, numinous: purposeful activity fuelled by a burning inner spiritual drive not of the personality: superconscious perception which incorporates a multi-dimensional mystical universe: far-sighted intelligence: misperception of reality – delusional, self-deception: release of soul to the world of spirit in the process of dying: psychic/mediumistic – this world connected to the other: the suffering of the unloved, outcast, sick, homeless, limbless: Noah's ark – preservation of what would otherwise become extinct: buried alive – entombed: Thy Will, not my will: essence not personality: preservation of nature and ecosystems: receptive to a spiritual calling from afar: the power of water: in this world but not of it.
