T O P I C R E V I E WlunaticAnother question about Grand Trine So, I am the Mercury person and I trine her Venus and Jupiter.Could that mean she loves the way I speak?I try to understand what's the influence of the person who has the one planet and what's the influence of the person who has the other two plants in the grand trine, if you know what I mean LonakeWell apparently the thing is that the person that contributes the natal trine feels completed by the person who contributes whatever to make it into a grand trine. You have to look at the element since that will play a key role, as well as what houses are filled in by the person contributing the trine.Like if they fill in your communication houses, you may use them as a vehicle to get your views across to others. The earth, you may use them for practical matters, career advice, maybe they take your business ideas and turn them into something concrete, etc. That's trines, they make things easy, sometimes so easy that you start depending on the other person for these things in this warm lil cocoon. I guess it depends on how much you like cocoons!letramgreat question, im very curious about this, because i have one with my lady, and i noticed more importantly, our grand trine is actually between all 3 fire element planets - Jupiter, mars, and sun.her Mars in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Aries trine my Sun in leo (1-2 orb each)to top it off, my Sun opposes her sun (aquarius) by 1/2 orb, kite?what do you think this could mean lonake if its between all the planets of an element like that? does this emphasis the fact its a grand trine?LonakeWell if you don't have the grand trine natally, then the Fire you guys get all hopped up together, Fire means experiences, like concerts, road trips, protests, whatever, things that you go out and do. They won't want to stay quiet, they want noise and to make things happen. That's all I got. You need to add in houses.letramthanks Lonake, that makes alot of sense, neither of us have grand trines natally, her fire planets mars and jupiter complete my sun (there is actually possibly two or three grand trines since saturn and uranus, conjunct her mars 0 orb, trines my sun too) the houses.. well her mars / saturn/ uranus is in her 6th house, and those planets are in my 5th (a fire house!)my sun is in my 1st (possibly 2nd) and her jupiter is in the 11th house. her sun is in the 9th house (another fire house)my sun is in her 3rd house.LonakeSo what house does her Jupiter fall in your chart..letrammy 10thLonakeAll right mars in the 5th jupiter in the 10th, i guess she gets your creativity moving in a direction that puts you in touch with people who can make something out of it, practical and useful instead of just wasting time on a hobby.letramthanks lonake, thats accurate, she has tried to show this alot, of course you missed out alot of 5th house stuff.. but if my sun completes her grand trine/kite, what does my 1st house sun (in her 3rd) supposedly offer her?i really appreciate your time and practice Lonake, thankyou.LonakeI'm completely blaming my p.Moon/Venus in Aquarius Oh you give one to her chart.....you mean your Sun as filler..Sun in Leo in the 3rd, you're the communication point for her in getting ideas out to people in the community, getting noticed in a mundane kind of way, whether phone calls, letters, mailings, you're like the magic pony that makes others take notice and you barely have to say a word, it's all natural, this is emphasized cos I do believe your Sun hovers around your Leo Asc.lunaticThanks Lonake for your help. So, my mercury and pluto (we have 2 grand trines) in scorpio 8th house trines her venus in pisces 9th house and her jupiter in cancer 5th house. What do you think it means? I suppose it's her natal venus trine jupiter that I complete.LonakeJust post the synastry chart.lunatic tLonakeHi lunatic,I don't know the nature of the relationship but I'm just gonna act like it's romantic and if it's not you can just re-read it for a friendship or whatever it is.OK she's bringing her Venus trine Jupiter to you which are in your 1st and 5th houses of self expression. You have a huddled together stellium of Sun/Pluto/Mercury which can feel overwhelming sometimes so this gal brings a lot of loving and soothing energy to you, she makes it easier to unravel some of those feelings and thoughts you cling to and that can make you feel as if you're sometimes drowning, she opens up the emotional atmosphere for you and lets you just emote in a way that you feel accepted and that just makes you feel good. You're right the Mercury Venus Jupiter is good communication, liking to talk to each other and high spirits, being able to laugh with each other and at yourselves, so she's able to lighten the mood. There is a cocoon here that is emotional in tone since the main component is water, the thing with water is that you can feel sometimes as if you're drowning if you get too immersed, but this time it's sort of swimming around with each other and not realizing that other matters need to be attended to. As long as you make sure that you take care of practical matters too you'll be fine. She has Venus in Pisces in the 9th and Jupiter in Cancer in the 12th so in that sense she is very blessed, high idealism and luck at just the right time, lucky you if you're close to her you get to benefit from that.It looks like you have her tob, so you're bringing her Merc/Pluto in Scorpio to her 5th, which brings her down to earth a bit and focuses her attention on romantic and pleasurable matters, and you bring her Scorpio which has great insight, so combined you give her relationship that has depth and a purpose, there's something meaningful here for her, and it also cocoons her giving her a vehicle to channel her romantic fantasies. This is emphasized by the Mars Neptune conj you 2 share. also her NN on your Asc adds a lot of meaning and purpose to being together, namely for her benefit. Can I ask you how you feel her unaspected Sun in the synastry? Do you think she feels noticed and recognized for her Aries qualities for example, or do you feel like you kinda sidestep those and instead the focus is more on you with the action on your Sun? fairaqua.lunatic quote:Originally posted by Lonake:Hi lunatic,I don't know the nature of the relationship but I'm just gonna act like it's romantic and if it's not you can just re-read it for a friendship or whatever it is.OK she's bringing her Venus trine Jupiter to you which are in your 1st and 5th houses of self expression. Do you think she feels noticed and recognized for her Aries qualities for example, or do you feel like you kinda sidestep those and instead the focus is more on you with the action on your Sun? Thank you, that is interesting. Well,it's a romantic connection. I have a question. You said:"It looks like you have her tob, so you're bringing her Merc/Pluto in Scorpio to her 5th."My english are not that perfect, what does "have her tob" mean? And I think the 5th is my house, her houses are 9th and 12th, So I bring my Merc/Pluto scorpio 8th house to her 9th Venus and 12th Jupiter, right? So, she brings her natal trine to me, I feel complete with her? It's more about her influence to me.About the question with the unaspected sun, I don't know how to answer that. You think she doesn't feel her presence strong in the relationship because of that, there is a lack of dynamic here?Lonaketob = time of birthThe grand trine is:Your Merc/Pluto in your 8th,Her Venus in your 1st,Her Jupiter in your 5ththat's from your perspectiveandYour Merc/Pluto in her 5th,Her Venus in her 9th,Her Jupiter in her 12th,that's from her perspectiveI covered both. It can be confusing for beginners reading where the house placements are when looking at synastry charts like this, but it's not complicated really. You're right, I did put 'her' twice, I meant to write it once, the first time should have been 'your.' "Your Merc/Pluto in her 5th." The interp stays the same.lunatic quote:Originally posted by Lonake:tob = time of birthThe grand trine is:Your Merc/Pluto in your 8th,Her Venus in your 1st,Her Jupiter in your 5ththat's from your perspectiveandYour Merc/Pluto in her 5th,Her Venus in her 9th,Her Jupiter in her 12th,that's from her perspectiveI covered both. My ASC Sextile her sun(5) and my sun and mercury opposite her Sun(7, Also there are smaller aspects like my Saturn Quincunx her Sun(3)LonakeYour Merc/Pluto are opp her Merc. The orb's a bit wide for the sextile to your Asc, and a bit large for the inconjunct.. but I did mean unaspected by planets/luminaries. See if you were the one with the unaspected Sun it'd be easier to get some info o well.lunaticfairaquaYou shouldn't delete your question, maybe someone who knows can help you. lunatic quote:Originally posted by Lonake:Your Merc/Pluto are opp her Merc. The orb's a bit wide for the sextile to your Asc, and a bit large for the inconjunct.. but I did mean unaspected by planets/luminaries. I have read that the planet that is unaspected gets powerful in natal, maybe it's the same in Synastry Our sun are opposites in 7 degrees.. I will accept that LonakeOh I don't think it's horrible. I actually have it with someone but it's so hard to tell what's what since his Sun receives a gazillion aspects from my chart, so it's unbalanced.........I've posted the Q a few times on here but no one responds lol.Maybe I need to ask someone who can isolate it, someone who's interacting with the unaspected Sun person to see what it feels from their end. But yea if you consider the 7 orb opp then so be it littlecloudI have this in synastry with someone where we complete it for eachother...the grand trine I mean. It's nice...we'll see how things progress.
because i have one with my lady, and i noticed more importantly, our grand trine is actually between all 3 fire element planets - Jupiter, mars, and sun.
her Mars in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Aries trine my Sun in leo (1-2 orb each)
to top it off, my Sun opposes her sun (aquarius) by 1/2 orb, kite?
what do you think this could mean lonake if its between all the planets of an element like that? does this emphasis the fact its a grand trine?
the houses.. well her mars / saturn/ uranus is in her 6th house, and those planets are in my 5th (a fire house!)
my sun is in my 1st (possibly 2nd) and her jupiter is in the 11th house. her sun is in the 9th house (another fire house)
my sun is in her 3rd house.
but if my sun completes her grand trine/kite, what does my 1st house sun (in her 3rd) supposedly offer her?
i really appreciate your time and practice Lonake, thankyou.
