T O P I C R E V I E WThermidorHi,What can you tell me about a relationship between a Scorpio Venus female (1°44) and an Aries Mars male (8°50) ? I know these signs are not compatible in theory but maybe some people here have experienced it happily ? I actually ask this question because these signs are both ruled by Mars so...Sorry for my English, I'm French, I hope you understand my question...NativelyJoanHi Thermidor and welcome! Both these signs are in a sense ruled by Mars, however Venus in Scorpio is in detriment. Mars in Aries is domicile. It's a very different mix of energies, however, it's not unworkable. I think taking the entire chart into consideration would give us a better idea of what sorts of energies are happening with the chart. Venus in Scorpio's tend to take love very seriously and love very deeply. They also tend to be suspicious and don't take kindly to superficiality in love or deception. And they can be a bit possessive. Mars in Aries types are dynamic and passionate and quick to act, quick to fall in love, quick to fall out of love. Their passion heats up quickly and just as quickly it dissipates. It's a bit of an odd mix up because these two placements express two very different expressions of energies when it comes to love and companionship. Anything in theory is workable in relationships, it just takes time and dedication. The person who might have the biggest challenge between these two is the Mars person, because they aren't the most consistent lovers. But other factors could be at work within the chart which might temper the natural tendencies of the Mars in Aries placement.I have Mars in Aries, and I actually tend to avoid Venus water placements because there is always a sense of disharmony within our energy expressions, I have Venus in Leo. I had a very long relationship with a Venus in Cancer that ended horribly. But it's not impossible to work with incompatible energies, it just takes work. You might have compatible Venuses which will off set the incompatible energies of other placements. Definitely look at the whole synastry chart.lalalindaHello Thermidor! Welcome to LL ------------------"For all those who believe, expect a miracle.” Linda Goodman 1925-1995ThermidorHi,Thank you both ^^That's funny, I have too Venus in Leo and Mars in Aries ! I was born the 15 september 1988.You say our Venuses might be compatible and it's not even the case. She was born the 9 september 1986 at 11h25 in Troyes (France). And like I said I was born the 15 september 1988 at 13h30 in Maisons-Laffitte (France). We are both Virgo ascendant Scorpio with moons in Scorpio. Our suns are conjunct, but not our moons (with an orb of 12°) and not our ascendants (orb of 25°). But still, the moon of one is conjunct the ascendant of the other. And we have an interesting conjunction between my moon and her venus... If you want to see our chart (quickly) to tell me if we can manage that Venus/Mars situation, that would be nice ^^
