T O P I C R E V I E WwintersunA male who has venus and moon("feminine planets") in masculine signs,(following that logic ,that there's a conflict between feminine planets and masculine signs and vice-versa),could he be gay or bi because of it(or it commonly happens only to lesbians),or only if he also has masculine planets in feminine signs and ,many other aspects between planets/houses?PixieJaneGenerally speaking, feminine planets are more magnetic (they attract) and masculine planets are more about getting (they take). It's a style, tone, vibe and it's more accurate to think of them as yin & yang rather than as male & female (at least in this day and age, but in communities or even families where gender roles are much more restrictive it can seem more "male and female").Furthermore, if feminine planets in masculine signs (or vice versa) made one prone to being gay I believe we'd see a lot more gay people than there are!wintersun quote:Originally posted by PixieJane:Generally speaking, feminine planets are more magnetic (they attract) and masculine planets are more about getting (they take). It can affect the way they express themselves.A Pisces Asc/Libra Moon/Mars in Taurus may come across rather "feminine". If a man.A Scorpio Asc/Cap Moon/Mars in Leo could come across rather "masculine".If a woman.PixieJanePut another way, a woman dominated by masculine signs in her chart (such as myself) goes out and gets what she wants and asserts herself openly as opposed to hinting at what she means or wants.Scarlet O'Hara is a stereotypical woman who probably had a lot of masculine placements in her chart going by her aggressive attitude to take what she wanted rather than being all coy and hinting at what she wants (or even the classic "accidentally" dropping something in the hopes that the man she wants will get it for her and who would probably be perplexed when a masculine charged woman liked me, or even O'Hara if she cared, picked it up and said "you dropped this" ). I'd also see Dana Scully of the X-Files as someone who is well within the definitions of femininity and yet displaying strong masculine traits (if also Scorpio) within her chart. A man with a lot of feminine placements is likely to be subtle planners (and potentially manipulative schemers) and is likely to whisper advice and suggestions or use the system as a lever behind the scenes, and may even be the unknown power behind a metaphoric throne (and even the reason why the power succeeds...or fails). Such a man isn't likely to brag about his accomplishments but you'll see his degrees, awards, and photos strategically placed to do his bragging for him. Scorpio can be quite subtle but don't think that makes him passive or weak! And such a man interested in a woman would likely attempt to be noticed first (though he might lean back and puff out his chest a bit in a very casual devil may care way, and a guy can look very masculine in doing so) rather than just going up to her to tap her on the shoulder and introducing himself or asking outright if she wants to dance (or date, whatever). From the show Buffy I'd say Buffy was a woman dominated by masculine planets while Oz was a man dominated by feminine planets, yet Buffy was still feminine and Oz still masculine in the eyes of others. Naturally, the culture still shapes the potential so it (assertiveness in women, subtlety in men) will be within limits (most of the time).AquacheekaThat was perfect, PixieJane.RandallInteresting. It works in some certain charts.;P
Furthermore, if feminine planets in masculine signs (or vice versa) made one prone to being gay I believe we'd see a lot more gay people than there are!

I have thought of this too.

When on the Moon/Asc/Mars. It can affect the way they express themselves.
A Pisces Asc/Libra Moon/Mars in Taurus may come across rather "feminine". If a man.

Masculine planets in feminine signs happens all the time in birth charts of all kinds of people and does not mean they are/will be gay/bi-sexual.
