next to neptune | What aspects/transits would make a person consider starting a whole new life - and actually go through with it? Lately I've been thinking an extremely lot about letting go of all my early years of being dissatisfied and start a whole new way of living my everyday life... by everyday life I mean my everyday routines, past way of thinking about stuff, my whole mentality... Can people suddenly decide to change their way of thinking, and actually go through with it from day to day (almost) ? |
Koho | Uranus is transiting my 12th House heading toward my 1st House. I've made decisions that are changing the course of my life that I would of hesitated prior to this transit. |

Hi Next to Neptune! First of all, congratulations on considering to change your life! I believe no matter what you decide, the fact that you consider this option could lead to a spiritual change at the very least. I believe I'm the poster-child for overnight decisions. Twice so far I took some life-changing decisions literally overnight, a.k.a. in less than 8 hours from the moment when I first thought of that possibility (plus half a dozen times regarding smaller matters, yet big enough that most people spend months mulling over). I yet have to regret a single one of them. The first time when I was 23 I decided to move to a different continent, while having only a vague idea what I was doing (it was a career-related move). It changed my life in so many positive ways! I believe what caused it was the transiting North Node exactly conjunct my Midheaven. The second time when I was in my mid 30's I decided to quit am amazing job and career (or what lots of people would call amazing), throw away tens of years of study in one field in order to pursue my dream in a completely different field, in which I had zero experience. I won't lie that it's easy, but I haven't been happier in my entire life! At the time progressed Eris was exactly conjunct my progressed IC (this manifested first in a residence-related change, which allowed the professional change). This being said, I'm not sure this strategy would work for everyone. It's hard to explain but for me once an idea forms it's really easy to decide if it's the optimal course no matter how crazy it might seem. The harder part has always been to decided which are my options. I wish you the best of luck whatever you decide! |

a close friend has uranus transiting his 12th too and he is currently in a lot of turmoil. Has a burning desire to pack up and move overseas and start fresh, break up with his girlfriend - a new life. he hasn't gone through his saturn return yet. that will be next as he's only 26. |

Definitely. Depending on the aspects Uranus mkes while passing through this period of change could be difficult but it is always change. I'm leaving everything behind as well. Slightly more drastic because Saturn is cleaning up my 7H at the same time so a lot of my friendships are going away helping me disconnect from the hometown. |
EmGem | Kobo he has Saturn transiting his 7th now too. What planets do you have in the 12th? He has sun, Venus and merc. |
Belage | New moon eclipse on the ascendant, the sun, the MC or the Nodes. |
athenaia | Wow SoaringLeaves, you must either have really strong Sag placements or an incredible nodal aspect in your chart! Very few people can reincarnate several times with such graceful ease |
visions | my life has been wrecked when transiting pluto hit my IC natal neptune, all delusion and full deceit in my face, tears, isolation from everything and everyone i thought i was appreciated, betrayal showed me real face of people, so called friend etc...i was forced to rearrange all my values, what 's really worth going to the essence and thurht of things and people. And this refinement and epuration of my life is still going on after 10 years of transiting pluto in my 4rth house, 10 last years was very hard...but actually i feel more myself in the end who i really am. and now that transiting pluto is trinning my natal moon and ascendant some rebirth is occuring, my real place in the world is getting clearer, better. this is some sort of new life indeed because all the experiences who i thought bad is now taking a positive expression that i dont expected, some job i did now is being valued highly by new boss who is leading me to a new career far better than the previous one when i thought everything was lost. The place i live also and the surrounding is bound to change soon, or i may leave the place so it's a whole new perspective. |
Aries23Degrees | The 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th house are the "flux" houses. I would look at the outer planet transits to those houses for major changes; moving to another country, getting married, having a baby etc. I was born with Saturn in 7th natally and its uncanny how many situations in my life coincide to when Saturn was in the "flux" houses; 1st sister was born when Saturn was entering 9th house Moved to a lonely new neighborhood when Saturn was in 12th. I noticed that I became very introspected after that. Moved to varsity when Saturn was entering the 3rd house.(Pluto was also entering the 9th) Saturn in 6th, I came out to my Mom. I am not sure how that ties in with Saturn in 6th though, but Uranus was also entering the 12th at the time too. I also really got into fitness that year. For me,the sensitive planet seems to be Saturn. I observe its transit in houses and there is always something that happens.

bumblebee | No transit could bring totally new life if there isn't inner disposition to it. So I am thinking Progressed new moon or progressed sun changing signs. |
astra7 | Look to your progression. May be your Sun or Asc is on the last degree! It's a sure sign. |

He will move when Uranus hit his Asc! Can't resist Uranian energy of restlessness. Probably he will move many times during Uranus vist in 1st. It's doable when you are young. |
Sagical | Saturn conjunct Ascendant When I was two, a biological sibling was born 29 years later, my first child was born 7 years later my youngest was born - Saturn Squared the Ascendant then. Saturn opposite my chart ruler - my life took a drastic change and the toxic biological family stormed out of my life and declared I was dead to them.

LovelyKitty | As my experinces from 35 years - Saturn conjunct AC , saturn return , saturn conjunct MC (I graduated from university) - Progressed moon conjunct AC ; gradually change you , peeling you from inside out ,without realizing you are now a new person. - Transit Jupiter conjunct AC with others big transit in your chart.

astra7 | Just wondering since few people are mentioning tSaturn on Asc as a sign of change/new life.... Do you think this is the time one dies as well? After all, death is a kinda new life...if you get me. It just that all things pointing to my demise and tSaturn will be on my Asc about that time. I hear checkmate.

Seems like he's feeling the impact now. He's itching to go like this year and uranus is currently about 5 deg heading towards his sun in the 12th but then it goes retro for a while. This is going to be a very action packed few years for him i'd say. It'll then hit his venus, mercury and ASC. eeeeeek! I wonder if he'll move oseas and then when uranus hits his ASC he'll move back lol. who knows. how long does a uranus transit last anyway? and when is the impact usually felt? i have it transiting my 6th. anyone have any experiences with that??

yes Astra. But not a physical death. i've had tSaturn on my ASC and I left my marriage, completely changed my appearance (even thinking of getting a boob job lol) and have changed the direction of my life. This has all come about from the death of those parts of myself that i no longer need to hold onto. A psychological purging. It's been tough but an absolute blessing for me. i never saw it coming. i was just humming along with my life until one day I simply woke up and decided i wanted a different life after being in a rollercoaster relationship for 10 years. |
Carlos113 | Transits that start a new life: Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, North Node, Moon-transit-progressions, progressions in general. Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer. First four. I am an astrologer. |

Good for you EmGem. Last time tSaturn was in 1st H, I got married. Can't see it happening again..... Probably Saturn transit must be better than Pluto in 1st H! LOLIt's alright. I have come to term with my life that it is bad all the way....it's relentless. LOL I'm outta here. |

Wow you got married and i got divorced LOL! astrology sure is unexpected sometimes. Don't despair though! It could be worse Pluto is the greatest teacher of them all yes. I hear ya. Life throws you curve balls and it's like "AGAIN! do i have to go through yet another test!" But ultimately it is for the best and we come out of it a lot stronger for the most part. Until it happens again lol!
