T O P I C R E V I E WJalapenoWhat placements would satisfy his aries venus and capricorn moon square? I don't know his birth time but he really acts and looks like a gem rising. He's an aqua sun too. Heard stories of his cheating ways (he seems like a womanizer lol) but he's settled down recently and is married/getting married very soon. Heard he cheated on her before they were engaged but can't validate that 100%. Unfortunately, I can't stop thinking about him. When we first met he seemed like he was really trying hard to impress me and talked about marriage and kids (in general) a lot, and how much money he had (ex. he paid cash for his car, etc). Mirrored me a lot when we were out with our friends (like mannerisms), was always a gentleman. The attraction was strong and mutual from the first meeting. I am a leo sun and mars, with an aries moon. I have Scorpio in the first and a Scorpio rising. Venus in Cancer in eighth house I believe. Is it my venus placement that doesn't allow me to let go? Duane AllmanOdetteYou would be compatible for a short term thing (if he was single), because of all the oppositions. Definitely not something serious though because you didn't post any placements that would be good for his Capricorn Moon. Aries Moon is one of the absolute worst matches for his Moon sign. I have an Aries Sun (11th)/Capricorn Moon - and I still can't connect with Aries Moon. I don't really know whether his Venus in Aries is enough to compensate for the Moon/Moon square. Things would be better if you also had earth planets in aspect to his Moon, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Jalapeno quote:Originally posted by Aries23Degrees:I don't understand. We only really saw each other a handful of times, but each time I could really feel the attraction. I didn't see him that often, so as time passed, he met someone overseas whilst on vacation and now they're engaged/married. I wish I had a more stable moon. My aries moon makes me so impatient sometimes I drive even myself crazy. My saturn in the first and scorpio rising make me appear quiet and controlled, and I wonder sometimes what people will think of me when they see my moon come out!The thing is, he isn't my type at all. He seems too flirtatious and showy, and I am usually never attracted to guys like that. I am rarely attracted to many guys, and he was the first one in many years I felt a physical pull towards. And the whole cheater thing too - I would never knowingly date someone who had that reputation, because hey, it could happen to me too. I know I deserve a lot better, because I am loyal to a fault. But again, why was I willing to "overlook" these things when thinking of him? The moon squares is probably why I didn't feel comfortable or trusting of him...? He did seem honest with me. I have venus/moon square by sign too, so I thought that the similar natal aspects would help. I will try and post my chart when I can. On that note,I think I will answer the last question of your post. That is the part where you asked whether it is your Venus in Cancer that is not allowing you to move on? Well,I think so too. Because Cancer is the type that doesn't forget easily. But that Aries Moon of yours is impatient. And expects to deal with emotions quickly. This is the sign-square of the two energies. Also when Venus in in the 8th,one tends to be attracted to forbidden love or encounters of the secret kind.I notice also that Venus in 8th often suffers heartbreak in love; mainly because they are not able to express their love. This could be because they are not loved back, that they lose someone they love or that they may fall in love with someone that is not available to them etc. As a Venus is Cancer, there is also a tendency to romanticize a lot about the one who got away i.e "what could have been" etc.My thinking always is; if someone truly wanted to be with me, they would move heaven/earth and God himself to get to me.If they don't do any of the above. Its no offense really, but maybe they are just not that into me?So if this guy really wanted you, he'd be very forthright about it and claim you. Instead of marrying someone else. Thanks for your reply Aries23! Yes, I could not agree more. I definitely know that if I was the one he was meant to be with/wanted, it would have happened. It just sux lol! We're not together because he simply is not meant to be mine. Which is fine. I mean, I have accepted it, but I do find myself thinking about "what could have been" sometimes, exactly as you said, which I KNOW I need to stop. He was always nervous around me but I think it's my rising that makes people feel uneasy. I come off way more intense than I really am. I think I have a lot of squares in my natal (well, by signs anyway, idk how to read a chart) so I honestly really don't know what I want sometimes. I don't think he's my type but I can't shake him. This is a very positive, vibrant and energetic sort of aspect. However, his Moon in Capricorn is lonely and possibly unaspected. If he was born earlier, there's a chance that his Moon is in aspect to your NN/SN axis (and square your Moon), but the orb wouldn't be very tight. There might also be a loose sextile with your Saturn - which would help, although that's still not a very emotional connection. It's possible that you feel very upbeat and happy around him, because he brings a lot of positivity and energy to your Moon placement. He, on the other hand, might feel like there is a side of him that flies right over your head. His Capricorn Moon is just not very obvious to you. Judging by the synastry, it seems like his Moon simply isn't on your radar. It's possible that you see his more optimistic, flamboyant characteristics which attracts you - but you are not very aware of his deeper emotions (and his emotions can actually be pretty serious, somber - even depressive). Capricorn Moon is one of the most emotionally "heavy" placements. There are likely things in his past you're unaware of. He is far from lighthearted. It's also interesting that the way you described him in the OP is 100% Aries... maybe a tiny bit Aquarius, and not even slightly Capricorn. I think your synastry would suit a friendship or a fling. But due to the lack of connection to his Moon, I'm not sure whether you could get very close on an emotional level. The problem is Capricorn Moon is difficult. We take ages to trust people and open up.. even when the synastry is positive. Does the synastry show any attraction from his side (not that it matters anymore, I'm just curious. I'm never going to see or talk to him again). Does anything indicate he was hesitant to initiate anything with me, or what could have blocked it? He was the first guy in a long time I felt an attraction to so I wonder if its something about my chart that pushes people away. When we had conversations, he would always talk about being married, what nice things he would do for his wife, and wanting children. He tried to relate to me, very caring. He seemed very paternal, and that's what I told him. He nodded his head in agreement but didn't say anything. Sigh...guys who are family oriented and responsible make me weak haha!I guess learning more about cap moon I could recall instances where it really showed. He did have a troubled youth, admitting to cigarettes when he wasn't even a tween. Pills when in high school everyday. I asked about his other "bad deeds" but he wouldn't divulge because he said he wasn't proud of it. So I left it there, as I didn't want to push. I wonder if me even asking that question totally turned him off. I don't mean to make it sound like I am in love with a taken man. I'm not. I'm just trying to use this situation to learn more about my own natal chart. I've never been in love before, and just had my 30th. Just wondering when, how, if I'll meet someone who loves me whole heartedly, and me him. It's not easy for me to connect to others and just kinda worry about what the future holds. Will it be easier to find love once Saturn leaves Scorpio??Again, thank you all for your time and help <3Jalapenobump! Jalapenoanyone? RandallWelcome!

Also when Venus in in the 8th,one tends to be attracted to forbidden love or encounters of the secret kind.
I notice also that Venus in 8th often suffers heartbreak in love; mainly because they are not able to express their love.
This could be because they are not loved back, that they lose someone they love or that they may fall in love with someone that is not available to them etc. As a Venus is Cancer, there is also a tendency to romanticize a lot about the one who got away i.e "what could have been" etc.
My thinking always is; if someone truly wanted to be with me, they would move heaven/earth and God himself to get to me.
If they don't do any of the above. Its no offense really, but maybe they are just not that into me?
So if this guy really wanted you, he'd be very forthright about it and claim you. Instead of marrying someone else.
