lilypad18 | Does this position give you natural business instinct? What are your experiences with this natal position, or what experiences have you seen in other people with this one? |
bonsai | My moon's in 10th house. I don't have a business instinct at all, or at least not much of one. I do, however, work as a contractor and have been slowly (by inertia) gaining my own client base, but I don't do it through active self-promotion, but rather through my work. I'm rather passive in terms of finding clients if you ask me, and this was never quite my plan, but it's just the way things played out for me (not that I'm complaining), but since people see what I do and like it, they instead come to me, and that makes it easier. I am quite hard-working and people see that. Because of this my personal mantra has become "Let my work speak for itself". Other than that, I can't say I'm much of a business-minded ambitious person per se. I'm more a work-to-live person where I make sure to have time to do things that I really enjoy doing. |

next to neptune | I'm a moon in 10th house too (in pisces) So far I'm still studying, but considering to start my own business someday... I know I will one day, but gotta earn a lot of experience first. I do think I have a sense of business and I got a great intuition of what is in/out and stuff like that... I think myself I would make a great investor, so I'll see what life brings hopefully I will be able to do my own thing one day, I don't have to earn a lot of money, but it would be great to be independant of everything

venus2tinkerbell | I think Moon in 10 connects you emotionally to your work. If you're balanced emotionally people will likely see you as competent. It's easy to get promotions and clients. Sometimes I tone it down (not try so hard) because I don't want everything that comes my way, and I don't enjoy saying no. I watch over people. I noticed this about myself. I will never see someone being bullied and not step in. That said, I also think some people need a "smack on the hand", and "I'll allow it"...<<< as if the universe made me mother over all. I'm a Cancer also. |

Well, it depends on the sign of the Moon, where Cancer resides and any other aspects to it. People with Moon in 10th usually want to get out into the world pretty early. They really can't wait to self-actualize- especially if the Moon is in Aries or Capricorn. And as Venus2tinkerbell articulated, it can connect one emotionally to their work- especially when the Moon is in Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus and Pisces. |

Ok, these are my western placements in case you hear me talking about my Aries Moon and Taurus Mars in another thread. Virgo Saturn: conjunct NN trine Taurus Moon sextile Cancer Venus and square Gemini Mars Libra Pluto: square Cancer Sun sextile Leo Mercury, Jupiter, and Asc square Cancer Venus trine Gemini Mars All aspects are pretty tight with the exception of the Pluto/Sun square. What are your thoughts? |
lilypad18 | So basically, what you all coincide in, is that a Moon in 10th house attracts the public really easily and is emotionally linked to her/his job thanks to all of you for answering!! |
curiouspisces89 | My mum has Aries moon in the 10th. She is very success driven and ambitious. Her work is very important to her and she has managed to achieve so much with so little that she had in her childhood! She always says that she can't imagine to stop working ever lol it gives her emotional stability that she is working and earning for living, really well I must say. She is Aquarius sun ❤️ |

woah... I envy her... hahahahahaha My Moon is in the 10 house too, but in Aquarius, and this sign wont give me the drive that Aries gives to your mom. That kinda scares mebecause I too want to achieve a lot of things! Actually Im always fantasizing about being famous so I can use this fame to talk about things like sexism, racism, etc. And social problems. Makes sense... hahahahaah |

I knew this placement can mean fame but my mum was never famous. However due to some funny things happening in her life and her finding s new hobby she is famous now I think you just need to use this energy and push yourself as much as you can. I know that Aquarius moon can mean fame too so I think you have the possibility to be you just need to try!

thats the thing, I didnt read much things about moon in 10th and fame! but if you use logic, Moon would have to be the most prone to fame. It is not as a mars in 10th house, where one puts all his or her energy there, or sun, where one identifies with fame. Its the moon, your more vulnerable side is linked to fame!! Your emotions are linked to fame. I dont know if Im making myself clear hahaha |
curiouspisces89 | I understand and totally agree with you. It's exactly how it is for my mum and I think it's a great placement to have! |
