T O P I C R E V I E WAstroHello everyone how are you hope doing great , I heard Azazel angel Represents astrology , Is a demon represents Astrology? Randall anonymidarkness^ There it isAstroI don’t get it why am getting trolled ??anonymidarkness^ Ahh well, I don't know, trolled by the Webmaster himself, never seen it happen before, you just got lucky I guess..Astro quote:Originally posted by anonymidarkness:^ Ahh well, I don't know, trolled by the Webmaster himself, never seen it happen before, you just got lucky I guess.. tell what wrong did I do to you tell me ? ReadingTheStars95xD I don’t think he meant anything malicious by it. Depends on how you perceive Angels and Demons and what their roles are. Some who interpret astrology based more on the perception of other Gods outside of the Abrahamic God, coming from a Christian standpoint this could be seen as a form of deviation and possibly as demonic. Astrology also proposes, to a degree, that there are factors that could be seen as being not directly connected to the abrahamic God, that have an influence on this planet. However, there’s also a flipside to this. It could be seen that astrology is a very direct connection to the abrahamic God, and that we are able to see God’s command through the planets and their influences. It is sometimes argued demons and angels are of a similar nature, although much different in their intentions, energy and influence. This could very well be a representation of this. Personally I am not a Christian.. Not in the traditional sense. But Christianity does hold its influence in my beliefs and feelings on this planet/universe. Especially given Jesus’s connection to the age of Pisces. On that note however, we really cannot tell you definitively, what to think about astrology. Go with what your heart tells you. ReadingTheStars95Also, on that note, who told you that Azazel represents astrology? The Bible? A person? Take that into consideration as well.mirage29^ Nice answers, ReadingTheStars95.I just did a quick search, and found a site called gentilenation, and they had a pdf lesson called--"Azazel’s Astrology For Satanists: Part 1".Cute Trolling! .. i'm not christian, but the myths in the bible share their symbols and themes with many other religions and spiritual views so on some level they're valid, and like everything they don't entirely matter it's what you feel and connect with and where you take it
the idea of what's demonic is entirely framed from one perspective, look outside of that and maybe you'd see differently
there's ultimately no evil or good on an objective level just what is and isnt

dream interpretation isn't divination unless the dreams are of divinatory nature which can't be helped
when i've dreamt of people's deaths that's been pretty clear cut for example, wouldn't count that as divination as it'd be unintentional (becomes "prophecy" then) in the same way me reading tarot cards counts as divination
i was speaking of saul consulting the medium, it being against god for him to try to use divination to predict the outcome of a battle rather than having faith (kind of ironic that a book used to supress people historically by governments who routinely used force includes a story where divination for battle outcomes is told as wrong)
he's put to death for it
jesus' birth time is of no consequence
what matters is the wine symbolism, the death and rebirth symbolism, shepherd symbolism, divine birth, son of a god and a mortal etc and so on
those are common themes tied to many figures, like i said, lots of religions lots of the same patterns
just a different filter based on history and culture
can't watch that right now, my fiancee passed out on me and i'm too lazy to get out of bed to do anything right now and i dont want to bother her
is that long? my attention span is ****
anyway the bible isn't more or less true than any other text, it's what you get when you dissect it and use it that matters
i could do an offering to dionysus in the woods or one to jesus in a church and yield the same result because substitution is perfectly acceptable when what you have is ultimately relevant

there's difference between prophecy (dreams or visions of the future, being given information without actively seeking just by existing) and divination (the purposeful use of tools with the intent to see the future)
a person who has dreams can't them, i've never intentionally dreamt of someone's death or something that would happen
i have however scried, read tarot, used iching, used a pendulum, used runes etc for divination with intent and questions
jesus' birth is irrelevant because jesus is only as relevant as the symbolism behind him not as an actual figure
the birthdate he's given ties him to winter solstice and other winter traditions the way his death and rebirth tie him to spring etc it's all just about keeping the traditional holidays somewhat and adapting for new cultures
i practice the occult, i'm not christian btw
i was raised catholic went to catholic school etc though

listening to other people's ideas and interpretations is well and good, but you should read the myths and history yourself and draw your own conclusions honestly
edit: btw the vatican is hiding an unknown amount of old texts and such, lots of knowledge
a siege on vatican city would be a beautiful thing really

i didnt claim they celebrated the holidays exactly the same, but major holidays at those times of year are common
passover lines up with easter which tends to line up with the spring equinox
the vatican admittedly and openly has a private library
