T O P I C R E V I E WwwfbaderPeople with Late Virgo/Early Libra ascendants have their planets in houses opposite of the signs that their planets are in. How does this work? Considering planets in the houses embody the sign that rules the house. Ex: I am have a Capricorn moon but it falls in the 4th house (cancer). Would this make me more emotional like a cancer or colder like my Capricorn? Venus in Scorpio is in my 2nd house (Taurus). Do I love like a Scorpio or like a Taurus?Dumuzido you mean like having a libra rising means my 7th is aries and my whole chart is essentially "backwards"? the house colors the planet the sign adds detail, but 4th house moon doesn't equal "cancer moon" it's a really bad misconception that people have that's sort of useless when reading chartsmy moon is in aries on my descendant this doesn't make me a "libra moon" i still have libra in my chart (ascendant, venus, south node all conjunct) all in its own but there will be traits of my moon sign there (though because my moon is highly aspected there are things i can't relate to with aries moon personally i think tropical system is sort of ******** and can't even be observed in the sky along with not being the most accurate, useful but not the best) GalacticCoreExplosion quote:the house colors the planet the sign adds detail, but 4th house moon doesn't equal "cancer moon" it's a really bad misconception that people have that's sort of useless when reading charts +1000 Couldn't agree more. Houses represent areas of life, not personality in a direct sense. It only indirectly relates to personality (or rather more so character) when a particular Planet is very highlighted by in an Angular House or near the Angles--and especially so in relation to the Asc/1st it's most "self" and directly related. I still see people say things like well they have a loaded 1st House so they are very Aries like. Gah! No, no, no, no. It just means those energies/symbols are very highlighted in self--the person takes on the very energy and archetype of that planet(s). Doesn't make them Aries like at all, if it's Neptune, Venus, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, etc Rising. Mars does, some, but even then, there are some definite differences between Mars and Aries. Mars is almost purely physically focused. It's practically pure testosterone, and very RED. Aries on the other hand, often has an intellectual side to it, though it's also physical oriented as well. After all, it's the Sign that rules the friqqen head aka a symbol for the intellect. I have seen a number of very smart people with highlighted Aries. Though, not necessarily the genius like levels of Aqua and Sag, because these come with increased intuition which bumps it up into a whole other level of perception. But more "left brained" kind of smart/intelligent. (Aries is really almost like a combo/blend of Mars and Mercury--it has both red and yellow sides to it).
