lalalinda | I thought you guys would enjoy this, I found it on a french website called astrotheme from a link that had been posted elsewhere in LL. This site gives her birthdate as April 10, 1925 1:56 P.M Morgantown, West Virginia We know that her birthday was April 9. I thought maybe they were using French time or something anyway, its the 1st time I've ever seen her chart I thought it would be interesting to learn from it. An April 9th birthday would also make her Sun degree 19 which is the exalted degree of the Sun. Not only are planets exalted in signs but they also have a degree and for the Sun its 19 degrees Aries. Positions of Planets Sun 20°23' Aries Moon 11°36' Scorpio Mercury 2°22' Taurus Venus 16°56' Aries Mars 11°24' Gemini Jupiter 21°09' Capricorn Saturn 12°33' Scorpio Uranus 23°05' Pisces Neptune 19°54' Leo Pluto 11°27' Cancer Chiron 23°30' Aries Ceres 25°29' Taurus Pallas 14°16' Aries Juno 19°34' Sagitarius Vesta 25°57' Aries Node 10°21' Leo Lilith 12°49' Cancer Fortune 13°24' Pisces AS 22°11' Leo MC 15°00' Taurus Planets in Houses Sun House 9 Moon House 3 Mercury House 9 Venus House 9 Mars House 10 Jupiter House 6 Saturn House 4 Uranus House 8 Neptune House 1 Pluto House 11 Chiron House 9 Ceres House 10 Pallas House 9 Juno House 5 Vesta House 9 Node House 12 Lilith House 11 Fortune House 8 Notice that she has an 8th house Uranus, see what I mean about an exellent placement for an Astrologer. Study her chart and pick out something to delineate, whether a planet placement by sign or house, an aspect (her Moon and Saturn are conjunct in Scorpio in the 3rd or better yet Sun/Chiron in the 9th) Anything that you see.

Randall | Interesting. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
trillian | Hi lalalinda I'm including the link I promised you from "Linda's Life" forum, in which Azelsion discusses some of his ideas for Linda's birthday and chart. Rather than just paste his thoughts, I thought some folks here might find value in reviewing the entire string. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000167.html Now, none of us will ever know for certain unless we actually come across her birth certificate. But one of the things that makes Azelsion's contributions unique is that he was employed by Linda, and has some first hand knowledge of her. Thanks for an interesting lesson, lalalinda. I will look forward to watching it unfold. |
Sheaa Olein | Wow ~ Linda's astro makeup? OK, maybe I missed this (still learning ) but what is Linda's ascendant please? ------------------ Some of my astro makeup modified thanks to a change of birth time: Sun ~ Sagittarius Moon ~ Cancer Ascendant ~ Pisces Mercury ~ Sagittarius Venus ~ Scorpio |
lalalinda | Thanks Trillian I did check out that link and if everyone will notice Randall said very early Aries/Scorpio/Leo which this chart supports Sheaa Look at the second to the bottom in planet placement above, her Asc. is 22 Leo 11' M.C is 15 Taures |
Aquarian Girl | Very interesting. Linda |
delerious | OH MY GOD!! I knew she was an aries, since checking out LL I heard the 10th but actually on my B-day!!!! (the 9th!) I thought she spoke to my heart but this is too much!! My birthname numbers are 6 + 3 = 9 also (should I ask about that in a different forum?) but I got the 9's I think this must mean something... can't wait to find out!!! |
lalalinda | bump |
Archer | what about her asc? |
Randall | Thanks for posting the link to Aselzion, LLL. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
Nackie | Ok, I'll give it a go. Two things "spoke" to me. 1) She has a third house moon. Third house=communication moon=emotions. Maybe this is why her books seem to speak to so many people, because they are communicated in a language that many understand, through emotions. 2) She has a large 9th house (sun, mercury, venus, chiron, pallas and vesta). 9th house being the house of higher learning and teaching. Her "ego" i.e. sun needs to be concerned with learning and giving that knowledge to others (a saggy theme, another fire sign), mercury especially in the 9th showing the need to communicate what she has learned. Venus makes it a labour of love, she would have done it even if she had not made money off it (look at her theory "no money shall exchange hands"), especially as this is in the giving sign of saggy. She also has her Part of Fortune in the 8th...lucky in things pertaining to occult, mysteries etc.??? Anyone else? Nackie |
Randall | *bump* ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
lalalinda | very cool interpretation Nackie, I see that also. With hard Saturn aspects (conjunct her Moon expressing feelings) you end up mastering the lessons of the Saturn aspect. In the 3rd house, through her writing. A plus for Nackie |

Stargazer | Was this ever cleared up??? I know when i read Sun Signs... in the "how to recognize a Cappy"... Linda mentioned she was a double Aries... now some people refer to a "double" as: Sun/moon and some consider it Sun/ ASC...??? |

lalalinda | she probably meant her Sun and Venus notice that her Mars is in Gemini she expresses her Sun Sign (Aries) through her Mars sign (Gemini) the writer |
