T O P I C R E V I E WVirgilI've noticed something about us while reading a lot of posts/topics from forums about women/men having troubles with Virgos, and they're all the same problems. Lack of emotions, disappearances, "cold", and a lot of others.I've noticed that I share these traits as well. I find it intriguing that a lot of us share the same qualities, though there are those who share less or different qualities as well, I assume those are from other signs in their chartsMy question to those who have dated us(Virgo Males), why stress over something so hard? You've got to realize it's extremely difficult for some Virgos to display their emotions, we'll tell you how we feel, and that's that. You should believe us. If we love you, don't think that we don't care about you. We mean it when we say that.If we disappear, it's because we've got a lot on our mind at the time, or we're just not interested in you anymore. Can you think of something that you might have done to cause this? Like insult us, criticize us too harshly, or even make fun of our insecurities? Jokes or not, Virgos are very sensitive beings. You hurt us now, we won't show it until we're alone.I've noticed that over the years, sad movies/books/whatever else that has some sort of depressing thing in it make me want to cry more and more, I don't know why and I cannot explain it, but I'm starting to have a difficult time holding back a few tears(Men in Black 3 was the worst for me).Any Virgos feel the same way?RedScorpI find that most often, Virgo males are reserved and keep to themselves mostly. Usually quite smart too.But then, Virgo females are more often the opposite! All the Virgo women I can think of off the top of my head are strong willed, out going, and even hot-headed.VirgilYeah, I've heard that about the males, along with them being perfectionists, neat and clean, strong physical features, etc.Another question is, why do Virgos get such a bad reputation?I don't get it. I'm not a bad guy...RedScorp quote:I'm not a bad guy...Ahahaha! Aw. Well I dunno, what kinda bad reputation are you thinking of? Personally, I find Virgos and Virgo-strong people face depression and low self-confidence more often than other signs. Sometimes, they can even be self-destructive through their tendencies... VirgilBy bad reputation I mean relationship wise.I've read a bunch of posts that say Virgos are cold, emotionless, and self-centered. Only looking out for themselves, etc...Ami Anne quote:Originally posted by Virgil:Yeah, I've heard that about the males, along with them being perfectionists, neat and clean, strong physical features, etc.Another question is, why do Virgos get such a bad reputation?I don't get it. Hm, doesn't sound like what I've read. I think a Virgo might be demanding in a relationship, but other wise, I haven't heard of cold, emotionless, or self-centred. EmpressMendezIt's Mercury. We're always thinking..constantly..good thing I have a Cancer moon. Starting to use it more frequently .VirgilYeah, my Mercury's a Virgo, so I'm always on the watch for things, lol. I'm also pretty critical, and from what I hear I'm pretty good at giving back massages. Here's my chartRising Sign: VirgoSun: VirgoMoon: LibraMercury: VirgoVenus: VirgoMars: GeminiJupiter: LeoSaturn: CapricornUranus: CapricornNeptune: CapricornPluto: ScorpioN. Nothing cold about me. I feel very jupiter like, but then again my 8th Sun, 9th Mercury, 9th Mars is opposed to 2nd house Jupiter. And Venus in Leo in the 8th warms me up quite a bit! ;-)But I am quite the thinker and worrier. I analyze, analyze, analyze. Very Virgo and Aquarius. I think you have to look at the aspects the chart makes to ones Sun, ASC, Moon. And the placement in the chart. Also, the parallels in the chart can enhance and strengthen aspects. Plus I think the progressed chart is huge. For example, I have 5 planets in Libra in 8th house. This totally affects me deeply I believe. I was married to a virgo man for over a decade and I am surprised by a lot of what people have said to you. He was actually gregarious and kind and compassionate and would also cry at movies and be the first to help someone in need. Very empathic. I have no clue what his rising sign was. He was particular with details, obsessive even, and worried a lot about some things that were totally in order - like finances. But I knew nothing would slip beneath his radar because he was reliable and meticulous. He had an amazing memory for the things that interested him. Very responsible community member. A strong leader and father. Now - the reason I left him - the love went (on his end) and we fought a lot over dumb small things. He was still my friend from his end, and he was very angry I wouldn't accept the lack of depth in our emotional connection and he couldn't understand that I was demanding more. On my part I longed for deep connection, and I was angry he wasn't giving it anymore. We were at an impasse. We both had changed over a decade and couldn't be what each other wanted. It was horrible for a few years, but our anger and upset settled down because we both wanted to make it work for the kids. That simple. Maybe very earth signs to say that???!We now get on very well as co-parents and I still value that he is a responsible person and takes care of small details with the kids so they have what they need. Virgos are very trustworthy with material things, they are good listeners (when they are interested) and are reliable good fathers in my point of view. (Taureans value all of that!)Aside from the emotional disconnection that happened that I couldn't tolerate, you can see I love and value many things about virgos! I hope this encourages you and you experience the freedom and peace of having a mate who gels well with you and accepts you as you are!!- Curious Bull quote:Originally posted by Virgil:I've noticed something about us while reading a lot of posts/topics from forums about women/men having troubles with Virgos, and they're all the same problems.
