"In the best condition ..." with references to persons and charts not displayed and which cannot verified to the specificity of presumed Uranus in 5th (Luther, Coleridge, Savonarola, Dickens). So the examples are confusing at best, misleading at worst. Thus the statement that only two of the seven mentioned had children is entirely irrelevant to the principle of Uranus in the 5th house.Otherwise, some good insights into the principles involved. Remember, this article was written roughly a century ago (Aleister Crowley 1875-1947).It is far better to look at the actual birth chart of the child, rather than anticipate some of the problems or peculiarities by Uranus in the 5th house of one parent. If Uranus is in the 5th house of one parent that is their placement and relates to factors in their relation to romance and children, etc. There is roughly an 11/12 chance Uranus will not be in the 5th house of the other parent's chart. I don't consider Aleister Crowley a solid source for learning astrology. It becomes an aspect as with another planet instead of a placement within a +/-30� arc. But this really only should be categorized as an aspect in my opinion if it is within probably well under 1�, probably 1/2 degree. In order to know if you have such a planet-to-cusp aspect, the Asc must be validated to the degree and minute of arc, or as close as you can get.Uranus is the principle of the tele- in either the psychic sense or relation to the broader public. It is the natural principle of the 11th. So closely positioned with the 5th cusp it relates to performance, generally for an audience. It can also relate to innovative creative output. Generally such persons behave in an outr� fashion to some degree, enjoying the drama of the unexpected romance, the stage. flouting conventions and expectations.
