T O P I C R E V I E WM1313This is about synastry but I feel it's pretty basic so I post it here.If you have person A's Sun making hard aspects (or major aspects in general) to several of person B's planets, which person feels more "affected" by the energy? For example, Person B has natal grand cross, T square, or Grand Trine and person A's Sun conjuncts one point of the configuration, thus making aspects to all other planets that are part to that configuration.Would A's Sun be "overwhelmed" by all that aspects or is it more like B feels affected by A's Sun in many levels? Would it be different depending on the polarity of person's A planet? For example, let's say it's not the sun but the moon or venus (more "receptive" planets).RandallWelcome!RandallTry asking in Interpersonal Astrology also.GrahamActually, this is a deep question for a cook rack to be asking. So ... start by thinking of the two natal charts as each adding/introducing additional planets to the other.Person A adds the Sun to the natal chart of person B ... and person B adds the four Grand Cross planets to the chart of person A.Person B now has to cope with the Grand Cross being "unsettled" by person A's Sun (as conditioned by its sign/house/aspects). ... But, person A has the much greater task of now having to cope/interact with someone whose (habitual/instinctive) Grand Cross behavioural traits "R him/her" - and have been since birth. quote:Would it be different depending on the polarity of person's A planet? For example, let's say it's not the sun but the moon or venus (more "receptive" planets). In principle, it would not be different - because the 'adding-to-the-chart' process is the same. ... In practice though, what changes is the behavioural trait of A (which B may find more/less difficult to cope with than those of the Sun) - and how A will respond to the Grand Cross behavioural traits of B.So ... if A's Moon is in expressive Leo, his/her emotional reaction to B's habit of (say) nose-picking might be very apparent to everyone within earshot ... But if the planet aspecting the Grand Cross was Sun in please-don't-notice-me Pisces, A might appear to not react to B's behaviour at all. RandallBump!Hikaru29I’ve a Moon-Mars-Venus tsquare in my chart (Sag Moon, Pisces Mars, Gemini Venus). I also have a Sag DSC and NN so I attract a lot of Sag Sun guys but I don’t seem to like them. I find them to be too egoistic. I also dated Pisces and Gemini Suns but none felt good enough for me to wanna continue long-term. I concluded that it’s because their Suns are directly on my tsquare. Someone with a Virgo planet completes my tsquare into a grand cross. That feels comfortable...my ex has Mars Virgo and my current guy has Sun Virgo. Also it feels nice when it’s feminine planets or angles.sashavittoriaI would have thought it depended on the polarity/"strength" of the planets, but maybe it also depends on how "developed" each person is in those specific planets/placements.I actually had this with "the one that got away" in my life. His sun tightly squares my moon and Venus, trines my Mars, and loosely trines my Pluto. I was definitely way more affected than he was.Looked at another way, his Mars is loosely conjunct my sun, Venus, and moon, and tightly trines my Jupiter. Again, I was way more affected, at least from my perspective. But he is a double Cancer so it's hard to tell because he is so closed-off.The reason I said that about how "developed" each person is, is because in this case, between being a couple years older and more experienced in certain areas of life, I think his sun and Mars had been "tested" more, i.e. he had more experience with them being aspected, so he was more mature in ways that I really wasn't, especially in the Moon/Venus areas of my life. But in practice, I'm finding it hard to isolate these aspects... [edit] I suspect you could also make the argument that if someone has a stellium or aspect formation like a kite or others you mentioned, that person might be more accustomed to that formation and having it aspected by other people. lol I don't know I'm being helpful, sorry!RandallBump!RandallBump!RandallBump!RandallBump!RandallBump!
