Catalina | Carrier moves to Mexico and robots take jobs at home. Best deal ever!😉😎 http://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/what-its-like-to-get-laid-off-at-the-carrier-plant-trump-said-hed-save? |
Randall | They will pay dearly for that once tax reform is enacted. And you can thank all of the minimum wage hikers for all the jobs lost to robots. |
Catalina | Lol Randall lets get current shall we? Technology is the biggest job thief. Indiana is one of the lowest minimum wage states.. and most of these jobs are not minimums anyway. |
Catalina | The whole idea that we can return to where we were in the good ole days of coal and happy little workers doing what machines can do is a con. This site exists because of tech. Imagine having to pay people to do what your computer does for you. Imagine having to feed and pay rent for the computer even. |
iQ | I feel minimum wage hikes would not have been demanded if 1. Health Care been 100% free for those individuals earning less than $18,000 per annum 2. 50% University Scholarship is offered for kids from families making less than $36,000 per annum. 3. Taxes are hiked for family earnings above 1 million dollars per annum, be it Capital Gains or Income or Estate Income. ------------------ Astrology Articles New Services and short readings |
Catalina | The idea that the economy is going to be saved by recreating the workforce and industries of the past is going to seem less and less credible. DT calls himself modern but his ideas are old and his attempt at governing follows the oldest blueprints around. Divide and conquer, keep it in the Family, guillotine all autonomous players in public (figuratively at least) http://www.linkedin.com/pulse/must-read-article-how-our-lives-change-dramatically-20-delahunty |
Catalina | The link is an interesting article about the direction of the post AI world. Randall might find the one about lawyers interesting. Its not just minimum wage jobs that are in the crosshairs |
