Rheanna | If your doctor told you it is not good for your health?
|
anonymidarkness | Ofcourse, gives me sore throat anyway. |
Rheanna | Interesting, Anomy. Did the sore throat go away after you stopped drinking iced water (and other iced liquid, I assume)? |
ProxyxBlue | I would give it up if my doctor told me, but honestly speaking I rarely ever drink ice cold water. I prefer room temperature water. I've heard ice cold water can cause a shock to your body sometimes also and that room temperature is better for you, but most people don't like room temperature lol. |

Yeah it did. More than the sore throat I hate the loss of voice which usually accompanies sore throat, that feeling as if my voice is stuck on the throat, arggh. I do drink iced liquids occasionally, with friends for fun when we hangout, but regularly, no. |
Randall | I'm the opposite. I love cold drinks. |
Randall | I ask for extra ice or a separate cup of just ice, so I can keep adding it in my tea. |
Randall | And I love slushies. |
Randall | I also eat ice cubes. Eating them right now. |
Randall | It's supposed to indicate an iron deficiency, but I just like ice. |
Randall | I take an iron supplement, so it can't be that. |
TaurusVenusGirl | LOL! Randall, sounds like you are talking to yourself. |
Randall | The good thing about discussion boards is the replies are frozen in time. I knew someone would chime in eventually. |
Randall | Talking to future lurkers. |
Randall | Crickets. |
Randall | Or iced tea. |
