T O P I C R E V I E WVixenCould someone please enlighten me on the difference between Venus cnj Sun (with Mercury as part of stellium) and Venus cnj NN in composite charts? And what if, in the case of Venus-NN, Venus is otherwise unaspected (by other planets, Chiron or big 4 asteroids) ?What is your experience with those two? The affection might be immediate like Todd says, and love seems pleasant and convenient at first, because it's easy to recognize, but that's not always enough, and that's why usually it is other planets (saturn, chiron, uranus, node, pluto) determining how the relationship will develop. Love here has the potential to get boring fast too (compared to sun/moon in the composite which is much deeper). capricorncheriscty quote:Originally posted by girlwiththerainysoul:Based on personal experience, my most disappointing and unsuccessful relationships had the sun/venus/mercury or the sun/venus conjunction in the composite alone. There is no guarantee of a lasting love in such relationships. The love stellium definitely is very very helpful, if it was disappointing for you that means you either had it in a mutable house, the 5th house, and/or poorly aspecting some other planets without enough positive aspects to keep it uplifting. Love gets boring when there is too many mutable houses in the composite. Not enough fixed and cardinal houses to keep you guys focused on what you want together, you both are always flitting around to the next thing without coming to sound resolutions together and that becomes boring. Disorganization is boring. girlwiththerainysoul quote:Originally posted by capricorncheriscty: and/or poorly aspecting some other planets without enough positive aspects to keep it uplifting.I agree. Other planets and their aspects to this stellium will show how it will unfold. This stellium alone is not enough, and it actually feels quite basic and boring after a while. As Jane Austen says, "None of us want to be in calm waters all our lives". It all depends on what you like in a relationship though. Some people are totally fine with routine love and normalcy.VixenThank you for replies!Honestly, yes, love stellium can be quite basic in my opinion as well. Honestly i think it's great to have positive aspects to it by outer planets, but otherwise...In our case, it was also opposing Moon an widely opposing Saturn by 9 degrees. There was also wide square (5°) from Pluto to Venus. And yes that "relationship" was pretty damn disappointing, just like in girlwiththerainysoul experiences. But far from boring, since we had quite few harsh outer planet aspects in synastry. Venus conjunct North Node in composite - he has this with his female best friend I was EXTREMELY jealous of. Seems like my jealousy was not so "irrational" after all. Thank you todd, after your insight, those composites seem to explain pretty well why i was probably just a second choice to him. We had Moon- Neptune conjunction in synastry, but i don't know if its on par with Venus-North node composite. His Draoo Venus was on my NN though.Don't quote please

the node with venus also gives a spontaneous affection but it adds the intermingling of the auras. this implies that a higher, psychic feeling is generated. this aspect often gives the feeling of the relationship reflecting a "altered" reality around the couple. you might say that the node and venus add a "mystical" or destinical feel to the relationship.it also give a strong intuitional or psychic connection which often shows they feel and respond in the same exact manner at the same exact time.
on the flip side the danger of a venus/node conjunction is that it can flip from love to hate, though this is rare and other planetary formations would need t be present.
so essentially, venus/node is a otherworldly emotional connection.
