Philbird | Fry those psychic centers! Any comments? http://clk.about.com/?zi=1/XJ&sdn=paranormal&cdn=newsissues&tm=13&gps=41_1412_869_579&f=10&su=p284.5.420.ip_&tt=2&bt=0&bts=0&zu=http%3A//home.conceptsfa.nl/%7Erdwinter/index.html Here's another. OOOUUUUUUUHHHHHHH! htt p://clk.about.com/?zi=1/XJ&sdn=paranormal&cdn=newsissues&tm=15&gps=59_1456_869_579&f=10&su=p284.5.420.ip_&tt=2&bt=1&bts=0&zu=http%3A//www.fourmilab.ch/rpkp/experiments/ |
sunshine9 | Very interesting, PB! I wonder about the validity of the result; I was focusing hard & wondered if the line would actually stop moving right if I were to stop concentrating... "Final score: 27 1.6875 standard deviations Significance: 0.04881181637616698. A score of this many hits can be expected by chance every 20 runs." Sunshine p.s. Oww... my psychic cells hurt... |
GeminiLover75 | The first time I tried the psychokinesis test it was hard (I scored -7!!!). But then I repeated it holding a tiger's eye crystal on my third eye and it was easy (I scored 19)! |
Philbird | I think the trick to these tests is NOT to focus on the object. It's kind of like reading an aura, you need to focus beyond the object and relax. You'll notice the harder you try to "make" the object move, the less it moves. Use your periphial vision. I think if you practice these everyday, you may be able to move objects. I did poorly until I figured that out. It's like any other muscle, it needs to keep working out! |
sunshine9 | Oh sure... now she tells us the trick to doing it, after the loss of a few psychic cells, a near-headache, and nearly going cross-eyed from trying to move the darned thing. no fair, PB!! Sunshine |
GeminiLover75 | Yep I found that somehow "relaxing" my eyes helped too... it must have been the peripheral vision that you just described! |
Philbird | ROFLMAF! sunshine! Me too at first. In my case, it didn't hurt to have a stigmatism, I can't focus well anyway. Would you like me to remove all the bug guts off your car windshield? Soon! I'm really looking forward to parting the Red Sea! |
BlueRoamer | I'm very interested in this topic PhilBird. I recently saw an experiment where balls fall and form a bell shaped curve, and in the absence of human igts always the same, but the presence of humans can change the distribution...SO WEIRD. If its possible that the human mind can directly influence outcomes without actually physical touching, then the sky is certainly the limit. I got a 27 the first time.....then I did a trial where I didn't pay attention to it, and I got a 1.....i think if this really did work in a significant way it would be all over the news....I'll have to see more trials

BornUnderDioscuri | I scored 0 lol |
sunshine9 | Philbird! Bug guts off me windshield would be great!! How about restoring my eyes back to their rightful place in their sockets too? (This was me after the test, trying to make sure I could still see ok: ) I'll have to try it again actually. I've never considered my psychokinetic powers all that great (so perhaps I could exercise that 'muscle'), though I can do ~some~ remote viewing. Hey! Philbird, let me know if/when you decide to work on the Red Sea - I'll try to look in!! Sunshine |
Philbird | I moved a compass needle today! Just a bit, but I know I just need to strengthen those muscles more. I think this works. Remember, all animate and inanimate energy fields are connected. Soooo, if works on my bird for behaviors I want him to stop doing, it should work on an inanimate objects. If you have a dog, try and see if you can get him to sit (if he already knows how to) by using mental messages telling him sit. See if it works. |
GeminiLover75 | I got 25 this time! The more relaxed I am about it, the better. I need to try moving something else... I don't think I've got a compass. |
SunChild | Cool tests... |
