T O P I C R E V I E WberryberryIt's been about 10 years since I've spent any significant time with a Gemini man and then about a week and a half ago I ended up thrown together with one. While there is little practical chance of a relationship, I was somewhat shocked by the immediacy and depth of our friendship. It is a strange combination of protectiveness, intense joy, deep comfort and, at the same time, a feeling of complete imbalance. When our work was done, and as we said our goodbyes, I felt the most intense sadness...and compelling desire to let him go. I have an idea of why this is, but I was looking for some other input, some personal stories. Me: April 6, 1977 9:53 am, Charleston, SC, USA; Him: June 17, 1978 birth time unknown, Prague, Czech Rep.Thanks for any insight you can offer.Periyour synastry looks great, almost classic berryberryHi Peri! Thanks for your reply. I've been digging around on this topic and have found some interesting things. I'm always interested when these sort of connections occur---rare as they are-- and like to understand why. I'm sure my Scorpio moon has some role in all of this...speaking of which, I just read a post from awhile back about Scorpio moons, and boy, did that hit home. Thanks again for your input. berryberryWell, if anyone out there is interested, I did the composite chart and found the reason for the sadness/willingness to see him go on Cafe Astrology:When the composite Sun is opposition composite Moon: (Taurus, Scorpio, respectively)"Initially there will be a great feeling of excitement and attraction between you, and simultaneously a strong aversion to one another and a resistance to coming together. Differences in upbringing, tastes, temperaments, and personal habits (among other things) stand between you - and yet draw you together also, because you both find the differences energizing. Each of you has something the other wants but is not truly comfortable with. There will always be an intense sense of polarity between you, a dynamic tension. Frequent separations or spaces in your togetherness are necessary to sustain this relationship, yet you will also find yourselves continually returning. Once joined, it will be next to impossible to ever completely escape one another. This is a binding partnership that involves much give and take and plenty to learn from each other, as long as you avoid getting into the pitfall of defensiveness."
