After my mom died, my dad and I were talking and he told me that the old folks used to say "there is no hurt like the loss of a spouse" and now he knows what they were talking about. My aunt and uncle were married for 60 years and when he died, she lived a few months more but I think that was because her 7 daughters were there to take care of her. But one night, they were at church and only the one daughter was there. She went to check on my aunt and she wasn't breathing. She dialed 911 and tried CPR. She went into a coma but did start breathing again. When they got her to the hospital though, she died not long after. The sisters all went back to the house and one of them said, "wow, mother didn't even say goodbye." About 10 mins later, the wall clock chimed 2:00 am. The clock had been broken for several years and was more like a wall ornament. My cousins took it as their mother saying goodbye. This story probably doesn't line up with the topic, but I thought I'd share. Maybe the daughter who said that was her soul mate.blueskiez06
