littlecloud | Asked how she felt about her relationship 10 of rods-7 of swords- ace of rods I know some people say that the ace can trump the entire reading but I'm not so sure...I once asked if I would get into a lab class I wanted and got 3 of swords and ace of rods. I didn't get into the lab I wanted and even though I did do well in the lab I was in, it wasn't a fulfilling learning experience. Not sure if that was reflected in the cards but that's what happened. So here the 7 doesn't look honest... For me the 7 isn't necessarily about cheating, it's about trying to get your way in a strategic manner, usually in a more passive aggressive way rather than being direct. Since this is how someone feels about their relationship with someone else it makes me wonder what that means here.. |
Ceridwen | Maybe she is trying to sneak out of a physical relationship,? |
littlecloud | Interesting. They live together so I'm not sure how that plays a role. What about the 10, indicating a burden? I actually did wonder if there was sexual sneakiness here. But I'm not sure in what way, not liking the sex maybe? I'm pretty stumped on this.

That was my thought. Experiencing sex as a burden and trying to get around it. But I could be totally far off.

littlecloud | Hmmm...viewing sex with your partner as a burden, never good for a relationship. Anyone else? Any ideas? |
Jessica2407 | did she ask you to read for her? |
littlecloud | No. I did it on my own out of curiosity. I had the same thought too, of it possibly referring to me, but I did the same reading for her partner as well and got very different cards that have been fairly consistent. Neither had asked me to read for them. I often ask about other people, but I don't get the 7 of swords. It's only come up for me in situations when I actively tried to do something or had a goal. I wasn't expecting these cards at all, I thought I would pull more positive disc or cup cards. |
VenusDiSirius | Maybe the passion is dwindling down and she finds that hard to deal with? 7 of Swords seems like a mediator here... Flanked by 2 Wands cards. Could it be that the issue is essentially based in (mis)communication and desire to "get outta there" in a drama-less move as possible? |
littlecloud | Venus- I think that makes reasonable sense. That the relationship is not what she thought it was, and trying to deal with that realization is burdensome. I remember being in a relationship where I realized that I wasn't very attracted to my partner and I felt like it was carrying this heavy load with no real knowledge of what to do to make it better and no one to talk to about it. Dropping hints didn't work, etc. I'm not sure if anything happened between them recently but yesterday I saw the guy in this relationship and he seemed really angry. Walked by me without saying hello, left in a what looked like an angry rush. So I asked the cards why he was so angry and got page of discs-10 of discs- ace of cups Stumped again! Maybe it wasn't the best wording and the cards look so nice it's making me wonder of he was angry. My gut is telling me something was off...anyway, still not sure what the heck this spread means. I figured the ace of cups referred to love. |
