T O P I C R E V I E WvestaI have been noticing in my readings that the symbols have been sticking out on my cards giving me deeper insight. Example was the necklace on the woman on the strength card stood out to me the card before was the 10 of swords and the person in that card had same necklace only it was broken and on the ground. But strength following showed the situation was better ( healed) the necklace Had been mended I can't remember now but it fit in perfectly. Though I am inexperienced in symbolism and need to look up everything. I thought we could discuss symbols on the cards. The most recent was the 4 of cups I noticed three pine cones above the mans head on the tree. Pine cones Grow in a spiral shape they are also a geometric shape and the symbolism represents enlightenment. LeeLoo2014This is such a great theme, Vesta! I agree with you, 4 of Cups is one of the enlightenment cards.I have numerous examples for what you describe. This second, I remember one reading VenusdiSirius (and someone else, the exact cards) did for me: 8 of swords Ace of swords. It suggests the ties in the 8S are cut with the sword; and it did happen This, when it comes to symbolism in one card being taken further in the next one(s).athenegoddessOne cards symbolism I really is enjoy in the Lovers in the hermetic tarot deck.I like how the man is killing the snake with his sword, which represents what happens when twin flames come together metaphorically. They become one again in body, mind, and spirit but not only together but as separate individuals. The serpent represents the fall from grace and how we have been lost and looking for our other half and especially God either consciously or unconsciously. Evil when they doesn't want twin flames to be together because when they do they have transcended all on earth and become powerful healers. This happened to me with my ex. He was the only guy I really experienced true unconditional love with and it killed the serpent that was acting in my consciousness which was separating me from God.. and I didn't even know it at the time. Also did you know the tarot cards actually rank in power by the singularity of the numbers its kind of like they go backwards.. I used to think the higher the number the more powerful but this isn't the case. For example the Magician being number 1 is actually the most powerful card in the deck and also in the most powerful number. And then after number 9 the numbers just start to repeat themselves. 10 equals 111 equals 212 equals 3 and so on..vesta quote:Originally posted by athenegoddess:One cards symbolism I really is enjoy in the Lovers in the hermetic tarot deck.I like how the man is killing the snake with his sword, which represents what happens when twin flames come together metaphorically. Just did a reading where the magician card appeared. And when I was looking at card I noticed the infinity symbol above his head and heard my guides say, "what goes around comes around." To me I Think it is be careful what you manifest with your tools. Because it will come back yo you for good or bad. I looked up the meaning of the infinity symbol. And there is reference to karma. I like the way it's explained here better ... (Quote) Infinity represents all time – past, present and future, centred in the present moment of “NOW”. Everything that ever happened is occurring now and everything that will ever happen is also governed by the collective actions taken now. Thus, we create our present from our past and our future from our present and the action taken now represents our Karma (Karma, in any case in Sanskrit means “Work” which can also be interpreted as “Action taken” or “contemplated to be taken”) and will shape our destiny. He was influence of whole reading so I took it as the past was what I had manifested or worked towards manifesting and the present were the results of my manifestation and the future is what is to come of the results. BTW... I am using the Hanson Roberts deck ( my favorite).
