T O P I C R E V I E WCharlotteHi!I was watching "Jane Eyre" the original BW movie. I have read the book as well. It is about "Twin S-Elves". I love The Moody Blues, "Your Wildest Dreams" also about Twin S-Elves...I would love to here some of your fav. movies and songs about Twin-S-Elves. I believe that Linda was very accurate in believing that much of the wars and atrocities that we are perpetually plagued with, would not exist, if we had our twin-S-Elves at our side.26taurusHi Charlotte,One of my favorite movies having to do with soulmates is What Dreams May Come. Robin Williams is in it. Have you seen it? It's kind of a tear jerker, and this is coming from someone who never cries at movies. For music I love Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchelle. Both write the most beautiful poetry. He has some of the most beautiful romantic lyrics ever. (not the greatest voice, but I love his voice, alot of people can't stand it)The list could go on and on with songs about soulmates that I love by him, but heres one of his songs from hisfabulous Blood on the Tracks album. part of Simple Twist of Fate lyrics: People tell me it's a sinTo know and feel too much withinI still believe she was my twin but I lost the ringShe was born in spring but I was born too lateBlame it on a simple twist of fate. 26CharlotteHi! 26Taurus,I loved "What Dreams May Come"...I have never really payed attention to Bob Dylan. I'm going to go discover his music! I'll let you know how the journey goes. ------------------May the angel of your higher s-elf, guide you always.pixelpixie26Taurus.... Good stuff! Yes! I LOVE that movie. The imagery, concepts, feelings, bright side of bright, dark side of dark. It even brought feelings of deja vu, if that makes sense. Went out and bought it immediately, and I HAD to see it in the theatre. Also Love Joni Mitchell. She's what I sing most in the shower. LittleLadyLeo"Dead Again" with Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, and, yes, Robin Williams has a cameo. Have you ever wondered about certain actors and actresses? How certain people tend to gravitate toward roles dealing with metaphysical and spiritual subjects? Robin Williams is one I have also wondered about. I would love to sit down and talk with him about it.As for songs - "Dancing Barefoot" by Patti Smith, though I'm more fond of U2's cover of the song. LLL26taurusCooooooooolllll pixel. Yeah, I saw the movie in the theater and again a few times at home too. The visual imagery is amazing. And so cool that you listen to Joni. Words can't describe the soul in her songs. Do you have her album "Don Juan's Reckless Daughter"? It's fab! I love Court and Spark too. pixelpixieHeya! What I have of Joni Mitchell is mostly complilations.. best of, other stuff... although court and spark strikes a chord. Plus what I have generally heard on the radio..... I love her 'River' song.. I sing that one with much frequency. It's comin' on christmas, they're cuitin' down trees, they're puttin' up reindeer, and singin' songs of joy and peace, I wish I had a river, I could skate away on........ Chelsea Mrning, You turn me on, I'm a radio, of course, BIg Yellow Taxi, others I klnow but don't know the titles.. the one about ' Carol we're middle classed , we're middle aged, blah blah, she talks about the daughter she gave up for adoption.... I came upon a child of God, he was walking along the road, and I asked him, where are you going, and this he told me.. I'm going' on down to Yasger's Farm, I'm gonna' join in a rock n' roll band, I 'm gonna' camp out on the land, I'm gonna' try an' get my soul free, we are stardust,... we are golden, and we've got to get ourselves, back to the garden.........26taurusI you Pixel !I was singin' right along to your post! I just put in one of her CD's. Now I'm sittin' here grooving and a postin'. Maybe I’ll go to amsterdamOr maybe I’ll go to romeAnd rent me a grand piano and put some flowers ’round my roomBut let’s not talk about fare-thee-welis nowThe night is a starry dome. And they’re playin’ that scratchy rock and rollBeneath the matalla moonCome on, carey, get out your caneAnd I’ll put on some silverYou’re a mean old daddy, but I like you____________________________________________ I cleared myselfI sacrificed my bluesAnd you could complete meI’d complete youHis eyes were the color of the sandAnd the seaAnd the more he talked to meThe more he reached meBut I couldn’t let go of l.a.City of the fallen angels____________________________________________Help meI think I’m fallingIn love againWhen I get that crazy feeling, I knowI’m in trouble againI’m in trouble’cause you’re a rambler and a gamblerAnd a sweet-taiking-ladies manAnd you love your lovin’But not like you love your freedomHelp meI think I’m fallingIn love too fastIt’s got me hoping for the futureAnd worrying about the past’cause I’ve seen some hot hot blazesCome down to smoke and ashWe love our lovin’But not like we love our freedomDidn’t it feel goodWe were sitting there talkingOr lying there not talkingDidn’t it feel goodYou dance with the ladyWith the hole in her stockingDidn’t it feel goodDidn’t it feel goodHelp meI think I’m fallingIn love with youAre you going to let me go there by myselfThat’s such a lonely thing to doBoth of us flirting aroundFlirting and flirtingHurting tooWe love our lovin’But not like we love our freedom____________________________________________Okay I'm gettin' a little carried away now.OOh oh oh !! Guess what just came on! Woke up, it was a chelsea morning, and the first thing that I heardWas a song outside my window, and the traffic wrote the wordsIt came a-reeling up like christmas bells, and rapping up like pipes and drumsOh, won’t you stayWe’ll put on the dayAnd we’ll wear it ’till the night comesWoke up, it was a chelsea morning, and the first thing that I sawWas the sun through yellow curtains, and a rainbow on the wallBlue, red, green and gold to welcome you, crimson crystal beads to beckonOh, won’t you stayWe’ll put on the dayThere’s a sun show every second__________________________________________ Do dodo do do Do.....See what youve done.I'll stop now. !
