T O P I C R E V I E WCharlotteHave any of you ever had a child talk with you about reincarnation?Last night as I was getting my seven-year-old son Daniel ready for bed, his mind was wide-awake!Unexpectedly he said, “Mommy we never die, only our bodies do.” I asked him what he meant and he said, “We go home and if we want to come back here we have to get another body.” I was astounded at the simplicity of his words. I then asked him what home looked like and he said, “Do you know those planet things” and then he said,” never mind, I forget.” SattvicMoonChildren are more open for the other side and old memories. I guess we "grown ups" have lots to learn from kids!ListensToTreesDid another child tell him that? I'm not doubting what he said, I just try and look at things in the way that I can be sure.thirteenHow interesting, and kinda wonderful.CharlotteHi! LTT, I know that he didn't hear that from another child. Daniel is very shy, his teachers complain that they don't even really know how much he knows, as he never talks with them very much. I have even thought about home schooling him, as I know that he is very intelligent and yet his shyness holds him back. I had asked him while he was talking to me, how do you know this? he replied that he just did.ListensToTreesWow, that's very interesting then!Pumpkin PeaceChildren are such angels. augentierWow, I find it very comforting when I hear children say these things, and you know they are serious about it. They have no reason yet to apply this world's laws, rules, and "facts" and are just more aware and accepting of what is presented to them through dreams, intuition, visions, etc..This doesn't have to do with reincarnation but along the same lines...when my grandma died when I was pretty young, my younger cousin (she was like 4 at the time) said she saw an angel in the xmas tree at our grandparents' house (grandma died right before xmas). No one else saw anything, but she insisted an angel was sitting on one of the branches. I then had a dream a few weeks later in which I was talking with my grandma, knowing she's dead, and asked her "Is god a man or a woman?" and she said "It doesn't matter" ... strange thing for me to hear from a conservative Mennonite christian ------------------Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moonNo man is free who is not master of himself.CharlotteGreat! Story augentier, thanks! for sharing it...raj_105_2001When I was a child, I have heard many of my friends (who were also children then) talk about their past lives.I would later ask further on what they meant and they were confused when I ask the question. I would try to remind them.Later, I would try to probe them further, and the answer is always "Never Mind, Forget."It happened frequently enough with my friends and though it superficially seemed they were talking about a movie (always) they saw, I had a distinct feeling they were recalling something that happened. When you meet someone who was there in your past life his gender, face and appearance might change. But throughout the accounts I saw them recall there was one thing that remained common, the eyes. The eyes were always the same. Some of my friends denied what they said. They tell me "I never said that". They consciously or subconciously know that they had remembered something disturbing and do not want to remember again.CharlotteHi! raj_105_2001,Thanks! for sharing that. I too feel that when we remember something from a past life it feels wrong, so we forget! When I was 6 years old, we moved to Phoenix, Arizona. As we passed through New Mexico, I saw this grotto of Mary along the side of the road and had the feeling of Déjà vu for the first time that I can remember. I knew that I had seen it before and I felt amazingly afraid. To this day, I have been afraid every time that I have driven through New Mexico. It defies logic…CharlotteSattvicMoon, Thirteen,Pumpkin PeaceThank you! as well for your replies. Hugs,Charkatatonicmy daughter used to recognize "friends" on first meeting; her son, age two, stood on a book and performed a song for me with a cricket bat for a guitar - at the end i clapped and he bowed. this is before he ever saw any guitar players on tv - and he "played" it lefty. he is of mixed race, born one month short of 60 years after jimi hendrix(also lefty and whom he has never seen). i haven't pushed him or pried on this, because i believe we are not meant to live in the past, whatever life youre talking about, but he also sometimes comes out with some talk about when he was here before...

No man is free who is not master of himself.

It happened frequently enough with my friends and though it superficially seemed they were talking about a movie (always) they saw, I had a distinct feeling they were recalling something that happened.
When you meet someone who was there in your past life his gender, face and appearance might change. But throughout the accounts I saw them recall there was one thing that remained common, the eyes.
The eyes were always the same.
Some of my friends denied what they said. They tell me "I never said that". They consciously or subconciously know that they had remembered something disturbing and do not want to remember again.
