T O P I C R E V I E WLionessMy aunt passed away today, actually this is my first time I'm dealing with death... I've never had to go through this before... So bare with me a little... She had cardiac arrest on wed and she wasn't breathing for 15mins maybe even longer. It was determined by doctors that she was brain dead. That she only had 1% of brain function and given 1% chance of survival. Docs said, she would never recover, or wake up.. So a decision to remove from life support, needed to be made... With little to no hope of recovery, it was decided to remove her from life support... She was given her last rights, and then taken off life support at Aprox 9pm Thursday.Afterwards, she was breathing on her own, and her blood pressure went to a normal rate, and her heart rate improved, her vitals were stable.. ( for what was expected) At some point, she opened her eyes, even grunted. Nurses said, it was only reflex. She hung on through the night and the next morning.. She passed at 12:40pm today Friday. Here's what I wanted to discuss.. Since she was brain dead, and clinically dead for 15 mins (when not breathing) Do you think her soul was already gone from the body? It's just bothering to to think, that her soul was kinda stuck in a waiting room (per say) She was given morphine for pain, which I can't understand, don't you need a brain to feel pain? The brain tells you you are in pain, so how could she feel pain... Do you think she was just kinda hovering over herself, like an out of body experience.. I know that it can only be theory, but it's just really bothering me on what was going on with her soul in between cardiac arrest and passing.. This was for 2 days... What could she have been going threw?? RandallSorry for your loss. RandallI don't think she was in any pain.Lei_KueiWell as long as her body was maintaining a viable energy-field/aura... The soul would indeed remain in place for as long as there was even the slightest chance of the person regaining consciousness. In my opinion she simply would have fallen into a dreamless sleep, very similar to the sensation of going under general anesthetic. You lose all sense of time and awareness until you awaken. When her actually body lost its auric field, her soul would have woken up to the realization that her body was now dead, and that her consciousness had simply moved into a new level of awareness.Where she went from there... is up to her Anyhow, just my opinion ------------------You can't handle my level of Tinfoil! ~ {;,;}Randall RandallThanks, Lei.LionessThanks guys... What bothers me the most, is she was clinically dead for 15 to 20 mins... No heartbeat, pulse, breathing.. EtcSo wouldn't her soul have left in that time? Did it return?? RandallProbably her astral body left, but it wasn't her Soul. Still, there would be no pain. LexxigramerNo breathing and no heartbeat for 15 or 20 minutes; In most cases yes;Yes she would have left her body completely.I theorize that she was out of body; OBE, but was still tethered to her body and it's aura. She did not realize her body had suffered irreversible damage. I find it odd that they would have kept life support on a person whose body had not breathed nor had a heartbeat for 15 to 20 minutes. Often they leave life support on even when the body has died but this makes no sense to me. Did they put her body on life support after 15 or 20 minutes;(which does not sound right;4 minutes being the standard limit) or did they simply continued an artificial heart rate and assisted breathing going? That is very odd for her body to breathe and have a heart rate after being taken off life support when she had already suffered body death. Very odd. In my point of view the facts stated do not make any sense. However;I highly doubt she was in any pain or scared or uncomfortable. Sounds like no matter what her body was doing or having done to it;that she was doing an OBE throughout it all except for the final stages;and she may have tried to wake her body up briefly when she re-entered it and made the sounds and opened her eyes;but;then it appears she was very exhausted and simply fell into a deep sleep aided by the Morphine and the damaged body;and basically reintegrated after being out in an OBE;and then began her transition; Her Auric field pulling slowly inward until it merged with the Chakra line and the soul tether; and then the soul slowly disconnecting from her pineal gland; the aura encased her soul, and she would have slipped out going down through the Chakra line, and in a way being born once passed though the root Chakra.Sounds like she was NOT suffering at all. I hope I made sense.LionessThanks lex... That's helpful.I will explain the details better.. She was in the car on the way to a doc appt ( in backseat) She got in the car on her own, spoke a few times, and was just quite. The drive from the house to doc office is about 10 mins. When they got to the doc office, she was unresponsive. 911 was called, the ambulance couldn't find which car was calling... A police man was first on the scene, Aprox 5mins after the call, he pulled her out of the car, she wasn't breathing, and had no pulse, so the officer did CPR, at which time, he got the heart beat and slight breathing back... The ambulance arrived and took her to the emergency room.. She was put on a ventilator... At that point, she had a heartbeat and a pulse... Docs said she suffered from cardiac arrest, where the heart just stops pumping blood, and oxygen.Docs said with her not breathing for so long (can only estimate, cuz no one knows exactly how long) Most likely she has brain damage, but they won't know the extent or for sure until all the test results come in. She was put on life support.. The family was informed about DNR and asked to make a decision.Once the test results came back, she only had 1% brain waves and was 99% brain dead.. Zero reflex Docs then explained about removing from life support, and asked the family to make a decision. The family agreed, but waited until her eldest son, who lives far away could get there.Once she was removed from life support, she maintained a heartbeat, and was breathing on her own. She hung on like that for 15 hours, at which time she took 2 last breathes and passed on.Randall LexxigramerLioness Thank you for explaining more detail. My analysis still stands.I feel that her transition was dreamlike and pain free. RandallI agree with LEXX.
