T O P I C R E V I E WmanderinI believe there is merit in both these systems however I am wondering about conflicts between them. For example- What if the compatibility score of the Kuta system is very high, but the western synastry shows a lot of saturn squares to the personal planets?According to the Kuta system this match would be excellent, while according to Western Synastry, Saturn would make it much to heavy and negative.Of coarse the Kuta system takes really only the moon into account, but perhaps this is enough to make a good marriage?anekksadhhithe kuta system of vedic astrology is to be seen only after you have seen general compatibility between both charts and marriage potential in each of the individual chartsif a person has weak planets connected to marriage then even though he might get high number of gunas through the kuta system, there wont be much happiness or success in marriagekuta system is a mechanical calculation of compatibility between a man and a womans moon signs, there are even readymade tables showing the points for each combination of moon rashi against the others, so its not the first step in chart matching, its the last stepmanderinI believe I understand you. And I do already know that the individual chart must first be taken into consideration. However assuming the individuals have decent yogas for marriage and together they have a very high score.... BUT their synastry together shows their Saturns are squaring each other's mercury, mars, Sun and Venus? Many Saturn squares are considered TERRIBLE for relationships in Western synastry. Yet the Kuta system doesn't seem to take this into account which I find interesting. It makes me wonder if a very high kuta score can overcome the challenge of tight Saturn squares or not. This has nothing to do with the natives individual charts, but when they are overlayed together.Randall anekksadhIn any match making, we can never get 100% compatibility for each planet, there will always be some planet which might have a harsh aspect , whereas most other planets will have good ones,The kuta system tries to see the best possible combination and thinks long term, the various parameters look into the psychology of the 2 people represented by the moon, the degree of control one moon sign has on the other, the sexual combatibility, one of the kuta matches the nadi of both partners which is connected to child birth, I don’t remember the name, from what I read I remember many heads of kuta matching match the psychological levels of each partner from an esoteric point of viewThe western culture of logical approach does not suit the vedic system, throughout the hindu culture marriage has been considered sacred and breakage of marriage has been such a serious unwanted event that the society always worked to save the marriage, this kuta system tries to prevent breakage of marriage taking into consideration all these physical/psychological/ physiological factors of both partners, nowadays in modern india divorces have become common just like the west as people have progressed financially and globalised and many of them have accepted a new way of life and forgotten or don’t follow much of the traditional remedies to safeguard marriage, We must look into the hindu culture where since ancient times both the partners would always look to save the marriage, it can be said that mostly the women were the ones who had to make compromises and sacrifices in the male dominated society but that’s how society developed, there was peace and harmony and you would rarely hear of a divorce, even though the kuta’s were low in a particular match, remedial measures were followed to reduce the negative effects of certain synastries and prevent negative influences and help the couple live a conventional peaceful family life. The western mind just sees a bad aspect between Saturn and some other planet and says it’s a bad match, its very mathematical, the vedic system saw many more deep rooted psychological/physiological factors connected to both partners and then advised the best matchIt’s a totally different method of match making, much more deep than the western concentric circle synastry matching with anglesRandallThank you.RandallBump!Randall quote:Originally posted by anekksadh:In any match making, we can never get 100% compatibility for each planet, there will always be some planet which might have a harsh aspect , whereas most other planets will have good ones,The kuta system tries to see the best possible combination and thinks long term, the various parameters look into the psychology of the 2 people represented by the moon, the degree of control one moon sign has on the other, the sexual combatibility, one of the kuta matches the nadi of both partners which is connected to child birth, I don’t remember the name, from what I read I remember many heads of kuta matching match the psychological levels of each partner from an esoteric point of viewThe western culture of logical approach does not suit the vedic system, throughout the hindu culture marriage has been considered sacred and breakage of marriage has been such a serious unwanted event that the society always worked to save the marriage, this kuta system tries to prevent breakage of marriage taking into consideration all these physical/psychological/ physiological factors of both partners, nowadays in modern india divorces have become common just like the west as people have progressed financially and globalised and many of them have accepted a new way of life and forgotten or don’t follow much of the traditional remedies to safeguard marriage, We must look into the hindu culture where since ancient times both the partners would always look to save the marriage, it can be said that mostly the women were the ones who had to make compromises and sacrifices in the male dominated society but that’s how society developed, there was peace and harmony and you would rarely hear of a divorce, even though the kuta’s were low in a particular match, remedial measures were followed to reduce the negative effects of certain synastries and prevent negative influences and help the couple live a conventional peaceful family life. And I've seen couples with lower points who did have saturn ties and did last. This is an ancient system and I think back then, Saturn ties didn't need to be as strong, because as you said- divorce was avoided at all costs. But we are now living in a culture where the grass is often thought to be greener. So I think that Saturn has become more important. And yes it is also true that if a native's chart does not support marriage, that native will likely somehow make poor choices that will distrupt whatever partnership they are in even if they have a very high number of points with someone.RandallBump!RandallBump!RandallBump!
