Topic: That 8th house stuff

If ANYONE has real insight into this 8th house synastry stuff, I'd LOVE it.
So, someone has their Sun, Mercury, Uranus & Saturn ALL-UP-IN my 8th house....I feel COMPLETELY obssessed and the feelings may be totally one-sided (neither one of us is assertive).

my guy's mars in leo is in my 8th conjunct my vertex exactly and that (plus a venus-pluto square between us) cause seriously INTENSE feelings of obsession on my part! i like just want to eat him up, in every way imaginable. he is sooooo dang interesting to me and beautiful and amazing and intriguing.. you get the idea. he is also extremely mysterious to me! which could be part of the 8th/obsessiveness thing.. i wish i knew what to say to help you! what sign is your eighth? Hmm, I never really gave 8th house effects any thoughts... I thought that aspects regarding someone's 8th house only affected their partner's sun placement, but apparently it goes much deeper than that.So since my Venus is in Scorpio, and 8th house placement is Pisces, if I were to court someone with a Venus in Pisces, the love would be mutual, but I'd be overly obsessed with them? (x2, actually, since a Scorp Venus person would have an obsession over someone they love regardless the 8th house placement, anyway.) Man, I'm in for a lethal fall come a partner with Venus in Pisces. =\ ------------------

My ex bf has his Mars, Sun and Venus, conj in Cancer in his 8th, since we share the same rising sign, the same degree (ewwwwww!) his stellium also falls in my 8th and obsession is not the word.Crazy, psycho, freak, immature, disrespectful, a lunatic that will not go away... O and did I mention, power trip and control freak?  No more 8 house interactions for me, no thank you!!! IP: Logged |

i thought if someones planets fell in your 8th house, that the house person would be
more obsessed than the planet person. my boyfriend has sun, merc and uranus in his 8th house. my sun, merc, uranus and several asteroids fall in his 8th house. sometimes i think he is obsessed with me, other times i think i am more with him. it goes back and forth. sometimes i feel uncomfortable around him. most of his planets fall in my 12th and fourth=mine in his seventh and eighth.IP: Logged |

I have Scorpio Venus also...I can't imagine being in a relationship in which I did not feel obssessed. The addition of the 8th house stuff cranks the "obsession" stuff up several notches. BY-THE-WAY---this person with the 8th house stuff also has Venus in Pisces----time for some VooDoo!!!IP: Logged |

Blkfox-I am not sure. It is strange and intense
relationship-it changes-sometimes i think he is very obsessed with me, plaques me with questions, questions, questions-about past relationships, guys that are JUST friends, if I have ever been involved w/my boss (WTF)-other times i think i am with him. we also have lots of pluto contacts. most of his planets fall in my 12th house, but i do think the 8th house can bring out the freak in people. If all his stuff is in your 8th house, it could be bring out the freak in you  IP: Logged |

Love, My natal Moon is conj Jupiter in Capricorn...I have yet to experience anything that 'Bring the freak out in me' That Capricorn even overrides my Venus in Scorpio!IP: Logged |

My boyfriend's Ascendant is in my 8th house but that's all. I think he's more obsessed with me though... My South Node falls in his 8th house.------------------
