Transit Mercury/Venus/Mars direct over my Mars

Transit Saturn direct over my Venus/Uranus/Pluto

I feel stifled!!!!

I have work and family issues that need sorted. Everywhere I turn, I encounter a barrier, unfairness or lack of support.

I am usually pro-active and 'move fast' in correcting odd spots in my life. But I can't manage to fix the position I am in. I am locked in. I feel powerful, yet powerless.

All politics in work and with family are like a row of dominoes, ready to fall if I make the wrong move.

Saturn is holding me up to scrutiny at every turn. Where I feel I need rewarded, I am given more tests.

Saturn, I am tired of one challenge after the other. I need a break. Let me go and let me live a little.

Thanks for listening, anyone, out there......

Maybe it would help to know that you're not alone in feeling this way. I know this exact feeling, and for me it relates to both Saturn and Pluto. I also know two people who are having their Saturn return as we speak, and it's like the hits just keep coming. Honestly I think the only way through it, is to just accept it and go through it. I know what you mean about usually being someone who deals with things. I used to think life was so easy and I always saw the bright side of everything! Personally I'm just looking forward to feeling that way again - I know I will. Same for you. All storms must pass, and so on.

Thanks GemLover

I know what you mean about usually being someone who deals with things. I used to think life was so easy and I always saw the bright side of everything!

I try to see the bright side, too. I try to remain a happy and friendly person (natal Mars in Libra). When the going gets tough my Moon in Sag kicks in with a philosophical and positive view.

I know Saturn will be hanging around my stellium for another 10 months

I have a feeling that the beginning of this challenging year had something to do with transit Uranus opposite my Venus/Uranus/Pluto stellium, and then as Uranus exited this opposition, Saturn was approaching it as a conjunction.

Out of the frying pan into the fire.

quote:
All storms must pass, and so on.

That must be your Jupiter in 5H talking

Thanks for your support GemLover

There's another knowflake (almost my astro twin) out there, who is feeling 'challenged', too. My love to you - you know who you are!!

Oh, if work and family are not enough, I can find "lack of support" in the form of another thread, as well.

There goes that Saturn pattern - strengthening me up to 'speak up'!

Misery loves company, so i'm joining you here.

Neptune is squaring both my Sun and Moon, which is making me confused about my role in the world, needing some time out to regroup and reorganize. It is also bugging my MC and urging me to go into some Neptunian line of work. (Hello Neptune, not now, not yet.)

Pluto is squaring my Venus = !@#$%!!! lovelife and !@#$%!!! serious money lost in some business transaction. And since Venus is in a stellium with Mars, Uranus and Pluto she's making sure all her neighbors feel the effects too.

All slow-moving planets have conspired and are now aspecting my Chiron and NN harshly. Transiting Chiron and NN are retaliating by squaring both my Sun and Moon.

Oh well, the upside is we are still alive, right? Let's take comfort in the fact that all these shall pass. Any transit that doesn't kill you will make you stronger. (Guess who said that?)

Eek, Deux - You've had a barrelfull..!!

Your list of events matches mine and our aspects are way different!!!!!

I won't even go into my details. How boring that would be (even though, it's been enough to drag and drain the best of Leos).

I don't mind sharing bits of my life here on LL - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Guess who wrote that!).

If anyone can use any event and match it to any transit for learning purposes - so be it!! I've always found this forum to be a great learning place.

My astro-twin (almost) is going through a similar challenge - whoa, can we share notes!!!

I'm going to post a synastry chart hopefully within the next 2 days of myself and a person who has significantly influenced my life this year (in an extremely 'tryng' way).

My continual lessons are about relationships - and making painful decisions (2 years now).

Where is your Venus placed? A Pluto square can place you in power struggles of sorts. Your Venus can dictate what type of struggle.

I would imagine that lost money would have something to do with Neptune. Is yours in the 8th House?

Thanks for posting deuxantares. It's been fun being miserable with you

Oh, my friend. I wondered if you were enduring as I am right now. Internalizing negativity and existing as I have been too. I am home today with an upset stomach. This will pass and we will be back to ourselves. Hopefully soon my dear. I totally feel you. So many differences and yet so much alike. I wish you many blessings today. You are precious and this will pass and I will always be on your side.

Koi, my Venus/Mars/Uranus/Pluto stellium is in Libra in the 5th. My Sun/Moon (Scorpio) and Mercury/Neptune (Sagittarius) in the 6th.

Mercury retrograde last May-June was involved in the money lost; The money changed hands early June, but we found out we've been had only recently. A close friend of mine reminded me to be careful with the people i was doing business with but stubborn me didn't listen to him. Oh well...

You are right about Venus and Pluto. Venus = love and also money.

Try tr. Saturn cj your natal Ascendant, and square and opposite just about everything else in your chart. I'm just about to come out of a difficult tr. Pluto opp. natal Mars, and to go to the doctor for antidepressants, because I don't feel I can go on any other way.

I'm doing a lot of work, but I feel very alone and as if no-one is giving me the help I need. However, I suppose we can commiserate with each other here!!

KOIFLOWER - I feel with you and I understand your rageous impulses ...

Just want to add two thoughts - one might be soothing ... the other might give you some more food for thought.

First (soothing) thought: Personally, my experiences with tr. Saturn cojuncting a planet are not at all bad. During tr. Saturn cj. my natal Sun (2004 mainly) I made huge steps to come to my real "self", left a relationship and a town where I didn't feel "at home" anymore - Saturn was like a big brother, strong friend, mighty father who really SUPPORTED me - even though this was an exhausting time. But: Saturn was watching over me!

Then I had Saturn cj. my Venus - during 2007 until this early summer 2008. Again, while I was stuck in that transit, I felt treated "badly" very often - it was the time when I hang out with your other "astro-twin", the un-evolved, evil, nasty one ... SO: What Saturn did is: showing me the weaknesses in my OWN approach to love - by letting me meet and get heartbroken by this nasty a$$$hole-type-of-guy - I tried to cling to him, even though I felt threatened by him from the start - and Saturn shattered my dreams in this regard - but also HELPED me to figure out what I definitely do NOT want in a partner. Even though I was very sad ... now ... 4 months after the break-up (unter Saturn-cj-my-Venus-influence) I feel very much wiser and more self-confident and feel a certain pride, that I managed to get out of that wrong thing!

SO: YIKES - HE WILL HAVE CHALLENGES FOR YOU. But ... he's like a good father, a strict one, but he'll care for you and for your best interests!!!

Second thought (maybe not so nice and soothing, but it belongs to that topic too, I guess): I also posted a thread on "mean" Saturn-transits lately, and I mentioned your current transit as well: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/019057.html

You know a lot about that astro-twin of yours, that I shared that negative love affair with ...

He's going through similar transits as you, during the next months. And in HIS CASE (I know him too well now), this makes sense completely! His Pluto-Uranus-cj. is in his 12th house, cj. his ASC - and he definitely is/was using a lot of manipulative and controlling tactics to get his way, he talks bad about other people, is revengeful and jealous - I've come to learn that he treated other people like that as well - behaving like a mean-minded little dictator, always "his own will" - or nothing! He used to make it very easy for himself ... and in HIS CASE this is what transiting Saturn cj. his Uranus/Pluto is about, I guess. He won't get through with these tactics anymore.

His Uranus/Pluto opposes his Saturn and also forms a wide oppos. to his Chiron/Eros, both close to his DSC - so I see some heavy, not at all comfortable lessons coming up for him, especially relationshipwise.

I don't feel "revenge", actually I dreamt about him! (This is true) And I feel some sort of pity for him, because in my dream he was very sad and desperate ... BUT: I guess FOR HIM these lessons are overdue - he has the potential to be a brilliant man (that's why I fell in love with him) - but he is sabotaging it with his ultra-selfish ego-tism and time is overdue that he is faced with the consequences of that - in order to let his full potential shine, WITHOUT his mean-ness!

So ... from my, watching what is happening to HIM ... these heavy lessons DO make sense. He HAS to learn.

I bet (I KNOW!;-)) you must be a nicer person!!! ;-) But ... Saturn transiting your Uranus/Pluto-cj. ... think about your power-interests, do some research on "manipulative" or "revengeful" streaks inside yourself (we ALL have that). It may be the time ... to face these ... and to learn how these "backfire" on you - and Saturn will help you to LEAVE that stuff, mabye ... so that you will sparkle like a full bloom diamond afterwards again.;-)

Honestly: I strongly believe, that having Uranus/Pluto oppos. Saturn in a natal chart, that has to do with self-love (and maybe ... blockages to it). And it is a "revenge"-trigger ... which is now activated by Saturn ... I am sure you will find out for yourself, what this mechanism means in your own chart or life - and that you are clever and sensitive and wise enough to learn that "lesson" easily!

LOVE to you!

is exactly going on in my chart right now too. (koi and I are almost astral twins) only asc and 1 planet is placed different. So the conjuction of saturn and pluto and uranus ...means my natal saturn and my transitional saturn are in opposition. Since my chiron is also in the 11th I believe that means my chiron is also oppsing the saturn transit. I sure appreciate your input on this.

hey sunshine leon,

i am sorry that i have that ... rather "strict" or "objective" view on these constellations ... SIGH! if you knew about my personal experience with another of your astro-twins (a male leo born in august 1965) ... you'd know WHY! i was hurt badly by this person, i posted awfully many and loooong threads on that.

and i am STILL lingering on with him, in my mind.

so ... since i got burnt by this person ... my feelings towards these constellations, which will hit him too right now ... are certainly only 50% "sympathy" ... and about 50% ... "astrological justice"...

STILL: I also know that things like that will come out differently for each individual! AND: We all have our share with Saturn, of course!!!

So - I really wish you strength! I am preparing for a nasty transit as well: Chiron squaring my Saturn again, for a few weeks, at the end of the year ... this was one of the most HORRIBLE phases in my life, before ...

So: Let's "hold hands" over here! Okay! ;-)

HI
I feel for you! How do you find out how the planets are affecting you in the here and now?

I have asked a few questions on here and get no or one response and I feel lately everyone hates me and talks about me behind my back. I feel down or mad at the world and this infertility issue is driving me mad and broke. Something has to be wrong in the universe, this is not like me!

Haybelly- I value your input. I have seen your other posts about wanting a baby. I really don't have much experience or feel like I am educated enough on interpreting charts to have much valuable input on that. I think you have a wonderful home that would be a great place to raise a child. Don't believe everything you are told when it comes to someone saying it won't happen. I saw that other people have used horary and not been impressed with the results.

av - Well, we all have choices in life. For many years I made bad choices and for many years now have made better choices, more considerate of others, more responsible in my life. Which is one of the reasons I don't understand this hard time. I have been sowing positive seeds for a long time now. almost hard to believe there is yet another astro twin out there. That is interesting because I really never much saw that before I saw Koi's.

I have had my share of heartbreak and paybacks so to speak in the last 7 years. One even sending me to the dr. for antidepressants about 5 years ago. I thought all my karma debt was paid. We all have to pay the piper for hurtful things we do to others that is for sure.

Hopefully old man saturn and I will be friends before this is over.

I've just popped in for a quick moment getting - ready for work.

That's EXACTLY what I thought sunshine lion. I had payed my dues, grown up, more considerate, loving, blah, blah, blah. I spent years almost as a hermit on a spiritual quest for inner peace. But the challenges keep coming, when I thought I could maybe settle down and enjoy the simple things in life.

I'll be back for respond to all the lovely knowflakes who posted - love to you all

I think it's vary rare that anyone gets off easily with Saturn transits like this. Having said that, I don't recall anything bad when I was 29 (my Saturn return), however it all hit the fan when I was 30 - so it's likely I was still having the transit at that time. My most recent Saturn challenge has been Saturn conjuncting my composite DSC with Mr Gemini and moving through the composite 7th. I think the worst of THAT one has passed, but still. Currently it's squaring my Venus (I feel lonely and unloved), opposing my Mars (work is hard for me and I have a lack of energy), and it won't be too long til it squares my ASC (I thought it must have been there already because I often feel sad and depressed). o.o It's also squaring my Neptune. Other Saturn transits I'm having right now, which I admit I'm not really noticing are: sextile moon, trine Mercury, and sextile Saturn. You'd think that these aspects would be stabilising, but I don't know really. Throughout it all though I do think we have to remain as positive as we possibly can and just trust the process.

Ok I know this is cheesey... but this song/video is what's keeping my head above water the last couple of days. I think of it as taking a little break from the Saturn mindset.

KOIFLOWER, I am not good in posting flowers or other icons ...;-) But I want to let you know once more: I'm with you, I can understand why you feel so ... mis-treated by that Saturn-thing, that hits you now - although you clearly say that you feel that you've "done your homework" already. I BELIEVE YOU.

I've experienced the same - with Saturn as well. This last tr.-Saturn-cj-my-Venus thing for instance ... At first it felt like "unjust punishment" - why am I unhappy in love again??? After three years of brave "Single"-hood....??? F***!!!

I thought I HAD done my "homework" already, have always been sincere and serious with my love life, never cheated (but: was cheated on - and worked on my tolerance and forgave that), and so on and so forth ... SO: Even though I have NOT entered a relationship lightheratedly during the 3 "Single"-years before ... even though I was patient and willing to wait for the (seemingly) "right one"... obviously I had NOT been prepared properly.

Saturn tought me a lesson I would NEVER have expetected: I always thought that my main lesson was to learn to be more "tolerant" to my partners, forgiving, softer, warmer and all ... perfectly independent, never clingy, but brave and all. But working on THESE fields during the last years, I obviously have neglected my own needs.

Maybe that was what Saturn-cj-my-Venus tought me: Don't overdo it, girl! I always strifed to be the most openminded, easy going kind of partner, blah blah, blah, no "clingy, weepy girlie type" like ALL the other women, blah, blah, blah - I thought THAT would be every man's dream girl - and now I failed with that completely! And I understood that i should have formulated my wishes (and demands) much, much earlier - NOT to deny them!

Honestly, I didn't expect to have to "learn" that, and felt treated extremely "unfair" by fate, by that man and all..

But ... I'm wiser now. I feel more "choosey" than ever, as far as a potential love partner is concerned. But also more certain! And probaly ... really capable of "loving" someone, just now.

So: The last Saturn-lesson for me came from the opposite side from which I had expected it to come!!!

It showed me all the (poential) pitfalls of my perception of "perfect love" ... showed me the risks these bring for me ... And I am really happy to have learned that - and GOT OUT OF IT alive, and early enough! Who knows ... whithout that Saturn-lesson, without being so "critical" and "down to earth" under Saturn's influence ... I might have stuck with that man and probably would have suffered much more and much longer!

Really: He's a rude teacher, that Saturn, doesn't touch you with kid gloves - but: protects you from things that you'd never have expected.

Try to see it that way ...

I wish it might help to lift your mood a bit ...;-)

Hi Koiflower. Saturn has been hitting me hard for two months now in a double whammy square to and from Chiron to the natals so I understand. Yes, it is a hard knocks time, but - as the old saying goes - everyone makes the choice whether to come out of the tumbler polished or crushed. So, keep as positive an attitude as possible so as not to attract a worsening of anything, try and enjoy yourself as much as possible, don't make any big new changes or plans while you are feeling down, and appreciate everything and everyone you've got and who cares about you. Keep smiling because during tough Saturn times it is still possible to have a good time.

Bright blessings to you anyhow.

Koi- when I read your post I really understand, and then on another post I see you and I have uranus and pluto in virgo, found in people born between August 22 and September 20 in the years 1964 through 1968. I have those planets there too, probably why saturn is making me feel so out of sorts. It really sheds light on things, I have no idea how to figure out what planets are affecting me now, but you hit the nail on the head, when will it end?????

Thanks sunshine! I REALLY appreciate your post on my thread "is this true?"

koi and sunshine I have saturn in opposition to pluto and uranus too! Is this because we are born around the same time period?

Is this why we are having these problems?

I am learning here and just starting to understand things.

haybelly, just a short answer: yes - the Pluto- and Uranus-placements in natal charts are so called "generational placements". that means: all people born around the same period of time have certain planet-placements in common. this is because some of the so called "outer" planets - Uranus, Neptune, Pluto - are very slow moving across the sky - they remain in a certain sign and sign-degree for a comaprably looong time.

Saturn and Jupiter are moving a bit quicker, but are stillt considered to be "outer planets".

Whereas the faster moving planets like Mercury, Mars, Venus, Sun are called "personal planets", because they change their placements more quickly, so that they are differently placed and connected in most people's charts.

Fastest moving "planet" is the Moon of course, it changes its sign every two days or so ...
