yes my mom is a Leo/Pisces and is TOTALLY THAT!!!!! and my Libra uncle is like that too. he says the most judgemental things in this totally 'my way or the high way' tone and has to dominate the room with his boring monotone speeches even if there are 15 other ppl around him. i bet if he ever met even like einstein he wouldnt shut up and give the guy a chance to talk..... grr now im so p-issed

I think i used to be a lot more obnoxious in my childhood becoz my mom encouraged that, the behavior that was like herself. In reaction that, when I Realized that, i went 180 opposite, and will try like crazy to integrate everyone into conversations now, even if its not possible or jus plain weird.

Aries, I believe, are frequently alpha-male types. They're often loud, and talkative. They are ruled by the the warring god, and love a good fight. They often push for their way, and openly sulk when they don't get their way. My Aries roommate tries to take advantage of me whenever he can mostly by taking or using my stuff without regard for my wishes. There are three Aries in my immediate family, so I feel like I know them fairly well.

I would venture a guess that you could find that alpha-maleness in Scorpios as well, but I don't get to study them enough to know for sure.

ive never seen a cancer full of him/herself. and i know a lot of good caps. can only think of one psycho one...but i know like so many other good ones. libras think they're the best thing since sliced bread .... lol .... my bro, my bro in law, my uncle, and so many others.... they have that funny charming way of being annoying, too bad the funny charming way gets annoying too after a while

Aries men i havent had too much experience with. every time i get my chart read ppl tell me i shud look for a few signs for partners, and one of them always turns out being aries....hmm. i tried to befriend one online, but it was too weird. no conversational connection lol

Libras, hmm a lot of people say they see that in Libras. I never see it.

Capricorn girls, the ones I know, are very jovial and the life of the party usually without being egotistical or alpha like..

I have lots of guy friends and the ones who always seem to take center stage are Leos .. i think least likely would be pisces, aqua and virgo (they generally in their own little world where they are the kings and have no need to stand out or take charge)

Just look around and see who are the bosses and managers and find out their sign

Scorps are just power hungry and Aries always have to be in the mix

Alpha males... I'll have to think.
Well, I'll nominate my dad (sun Capricorn moon Sagittarius with Libra rising) - his way or the highway describes him down to a t.

The biggest alpha male I've met was through my sister-in-law. I don't have his birthdate so don't even know his sun sign but he looks very Leo/Sagittarian and acts it too so I'm just hoping I'll find out his details to check up on him. His ego is HUGE in a kind of nice way but he's very loud and dominates every gathering. Friendly though. Very friendly. Just loud! Plus he has a huge mane of lovely hair which again makes me think Leo.

Someimtes if you don't pay attention of acknowledge these people they get extremely upset, but then acknowledging them can be such an intense experience that you want to avoid them. But if you avoid them then you get punished. It's a lose lose situation. My way of dealing with them is to SHOWER them with false attention when i first see them, then basically ignore them for the rest of the time unit. How do you guys deal with them?

Almost the same thing here...I really just avoid, don't talk to them at all, it's a total waste of time...and it's kinda fun to see how much they "suffer" when they don't get the attention they crave..the guy I'm talking abt(leo sun/cap moon/gem asc), can never sit still, always HAS to talk, impatient, loud, and he also ALWAYS has to interfere in other peoples work...the guy has a lot of social phobias etc...maybe a little off-topic here, but one day us guys went out to have a little fun, so we all decided to bring some other friends with us all well, but as soon as leo/cap/gem heard about this, he refused to participate,and almost panicked about "ppl outside the circle" participating:S...really, when he's around us, he's always in the mood to the something, loud, obnoxious, arrogant, always craving attention, insulting other people when he doesn't get any attention etc, but this day he just refused to participate and be the "outgoing" person he acts like.

My point with all this?:

Alpha-people(the obnoxious ones) have social phobias!

agree with you there BR, these alpha ppl jus dont realize that they are bugging the heck out of other people. they think they are gods gift to us mere mortals...they love to hear themselves talk. they just want other ppl to breathe, thats good enough...

i can get so irritated that ill get that little twitch in my lips if someone extremely alpha-ish is around. then ill go and drink something ice cold and try to ignore them, or pretend that the last 15 minutes did not happen. i repeat this to myself.
