I am shaky on this myself but I THINK a Grand Trine is when you have major planets in all three signs of one element (- Right?? Wrong??). So, for example, we currently have Mars in Aries, Pluto in Sag, and Saturn about to move into Leo.IP: Logged |

Hello there Sarah! I think a Grand Trine is when 2 planets that make a trine aspect, both make another trine aspect to another planet and therefore, when you look at it in a chart, you see an equilateral triangle that connects the 3 planets. A Grand Trine is supposed to be a very lucky aspect but the danger is to take it for granted and just take it easy. Thatīs why, IMO, itīs always good to have oppositions or even squares, because they give you a chance to improve or evolve, as they say. I hope that helped a little!!IP: Logged |

Hi elemiah hon! How's you? Well I hope! Thanks for that and I totally agree - it'd be hellishly boring without a few challenges wouldn't it? How's yours going with your Cancer guy? Still blissfully happy and ready for moving? xx IP: Logged |

Here's a good aspects link, ladies..... http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/aspects.htm http://www.skyscript.co.uk/aspects2.html A grand trine in the same element would make the energies flow more easily as you said Elemiah, and the danger exists that you will take things for granted. However you can have a dissociated grand trine, for instance, one planet at 29 Leo, another at 1 Capricorn, and the third at 28 Aries.....check some of Happy Dragon's threads, I think he posted a good link to dissociation.....'Zala PS: I've heard of mystical rectangles Sarah, but not mystical triangles -- can you point me to where you found this? A Mystical Triangle is formed whenever three planets are aligned so that they form a triangle where the three sides are a quincunx, a square and a trine. I got that info from this webpage that tells more about the Mystical Triangle. (It's under the Vioxx section): http://www.magisociety.com/electional_astrology.htm IP: Logged |

I have no aspect patterns in my chart. I have a planet in every house, 2-10, except the 9th house. HahaIP: Logged |
