Backstory:

There is this "old" DVD player that was unused in my Father's office (where the computer is located) and I decided to bring it upstairs in to my room. When I was hooking up the DVD player to my TV I realized I didn't have the remote. We have the "family room" (where all the electronics are... TV, VCR, DVD player.. etc.) and that's where the DVD player used to be, and that's where I saw the remote last. So I went in there to retrieve the remote but it was no-where in sight.

I looked in the cabinet under the TV (just about on the ground) and I took everything out, and it wasn't in there. I looked behind the TV, behind everything in that room and eventually I searched the whole entire room.

Irritated, I check my Dad's office where the "old" DVD player used to be and checked everywhere in that room as well. But it was no-where to be found.

I started to wonder if my Mother had thrown away the remote, and that made me really upset. But I then I remembered you can use Horary to find things, and I felt like I wouldn't be able to find it unless I made the chart -- so I made a chart.

This is a vaild chart because the Asc is 12 (Taurus)

Then I looked at the 2nd house (for movable items and stuff), and I figure that the ruler of 2nd house is Mercury so I find it in the 4th house. It's in an angular house so I figure the remote has to be close by (so it wasn't thrown away yet.)

But it's in Leo, so that means it's somewhere just off the ground, near heat, or somewhere where my Father frequents?

So I looked in the Office again, I found nothing, and I even looked in the Landary (How do you spell that?) room where the radiator is and I had no luck in there either.

I even asked my Parents and they said they had no idea where it could be.

I have no experience with Horary astrology, but I'll give it a shot.

First thing I noticed was Mars on the Asc. and thought, 'Someone threw it away.' Accidentally, most likely because Mars is still in the 12th and aspecting Neptune. I think it was your father - or he was the one who misplaced it. It might still be somewhere in your home though. If so, most likely still in his office somewhere (Saturn/father in the 4th house/Home -- aspecting Mars - men).

With Saturn conj Merc and Merc oppo Neptune (in the 4th and 10th houses/Parents), I think it was your father who put it somewhere and has forgotten (Neptune aspecting Mercury). The Asc's ruler, Venus is in the 6th house (work, office), so I think it is still in his office somewhere.

Although Cancer is on the IC, I dont think your mother was involved in the remote's dissapearance. The moon is only involved in one harsh aspect. Whereas Saturn and Mars are key players in this chart.

With an intercepted Aries in the 12th house, Mars placed there and the North Node as well, I think it was in this remote's destiny (NN) to dissapear (12th house), unfortunately for you. .....also, Pisces/12 house is also known as the 'trash can' of the zodiac, so it may have gone there (Pisces on the 12th house cusp)

Looking to the fourth house and seeing Saturn conjunct Mercury, makes me think it could be somewhere dark/cold (Saturn - also it's aspecting Mars in the 12th - hidden areas) - closet maybe - near some books (Mercury) - bookshelf? Poetry??? (Merc oppo Nept) ...okay, I'm really reaching now. lol

If it's still around, I could see it resurfacing sometime in the next few months as Mars makes it's station retrograde. Or when it goes direct again and hit's the chart's Asc.

Notice the 4th, 8th, and 12th house emphasis - with big guys, Pluto, Saturn and Mars involved? To me that says that the remote is buried very deep somewhere (Saturn/4th house especially) and most likely wont resurface, or will at least be very hard to find. All of this being in fire signs, along with Mars in the 12th, makes me think it couldve gone to the dump.

But usually my Mom's the one to throw away things so I immediately thought she might have done something about it.

I haven't looked in those places yet because I'm babysitting my nephew right now and if I move he's going to want to follow me and that wouldn't be very good LOL.

I'll look in the places you described asap, I really hope it wasn't thrown away -_- (Long story short I'm trying to make my DVD player region free and I need the remote hahahaha)
