I went through a few old posts on this forum and I saw Saturn mentioned.

I guess what I really want ideas on is what I could look for on someones chart that might indicate they were a certain someone in a past life.

For instance, say I thought I was Scarlet O' Hara in a past life. What could I look at on my chart or her chart that could tie me to her?

I have noticed with this person I think was famous in a past life is that she is strongly against the kind of things that this particluar famous person did in their life.

I would love to give more details but the person I am thinking of frequents this site and probably would not like me giving out her birth details !

How about the south node, it's house position and sign, and any planets conjunct the south node. That's probably where I would start to look for clues to a past life.

Do you remember Dave Walters? He used to discuss his research findings of his chart with that of George (?). I don't recall what specific details Dave let out about his techniques, but he did say a few things on the Celestial Perspectives board when it was still on.

Do you still have his e-mail address? May be Ruby can e-mail Dave to request possible suggestions.

Ruby, if you are serious about researching in-depth about this, you may want to read through archives on www.consciousevolution.com for any posts by the username "dgwalters" and plug in "George" in the search engine under the forum "Ask the Astrologer". That will turn up a lot of information.

Okay, here's some info from my friend, MB and her deceased baby brother..this is the only example I've tried looking into as far as the past life thing is concerned ..it was only because my intuition strongly told me that MB was indeed her brother in her past life..
It holds to the theory that I've heard a number of places that often a soul will try to stay in the same family..
For instance, where a couple concieved a child when they weren't able to actually support a baby so the woman had an abortion ..then years later when they finally had a child...the mother found herself conversing with her five year old daughter about life before she had been born and the child said, "Oh..you mean like the time when I had to go away for awhile because you and daddy weren't ready for me?"

But I digress.. I just wanted to make clear that I don't have much basis for thinking these aspects are crucial to understanding past life connections other than this example and my intuition..so a grain of salt, always..but I'm sure you knew that already..

MB is my friend and Bri is her brother..

Bri Sun conjunct MB Moon (orb: 1 degree) in MB's 8th house.

MB Midheaven conjunct Bri Saturn (orb:3 degrees)

While Bri's moon is not within orb to conjoin MB's sun it is in the same sign as her sun. (MB's south node loosely conjuct her own Sun)

I think the part of fortune may be significant because...
MB's natal sun is within one degree of her Part of Fortune..which brings me to look to Bri's Part..
This was the most unusual factor..

• Bri's Part of Fortune is at the same degree as MB's Mars.
  Important to note, I think..MB's Mars is within 4 degrees of her own natal North Node.
  
• Her NN widely conjoins Bri's Pluto.
  
• Bri's Mars is within two degrees of MB's South Node! So their Mars' are opposed to one another by 2 degrees.
  (Bri's Mars is widely conjunct his own MC.)
  
  
• All of this Pluto/Mars/Nodes activity is taking place on MB's 12th/6th house axis.

So..what I see is alot of activity regarding Nodes, Mars, Pluto and a couple aspects regarding the MC..
I dunno how much sense this may make to others...I'm still pretty much a novice in alot of ways and would looove some input..

oh..I'll leave their info in case anyone wants to look at the charts thems-elves..

Devlin's research comes from hypnosis of subjects, where through several sessions they gave identifiable information whereby birthdates, birthplaces and identity of past lives could be established, and that way they could trace a soul's reincarnations to see if patterns existed.

And exist they did. The permutations are too numerous to write out, but in general, Devlin says:

-1. the Sun, Ascendant and dominant planets indicate the primary purpose of a given incarnation
-2. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto represent different aspects of karma. Uranus tears down old structures to make way for new ones. Neptune requires sacrifices, and Pluto demands regeneration.
-3. The Twelfth House may symbolize the immediately preceding incarnation. In general, it shows the unfinished business of the past.
-4. Saturn represents inclinations and characteristics which the soul-entity brings to the present from the past.
-5. The Moon, her phases and nodes, indicate the course the soul is taking in its present mission and show the progress it is making in filling out the outlines of Saturn's destiny formula

I think you'd like this book, RRR!

If I were you I would look for where this person has karmic groupings across an axis -- Aries/Libra, Taurus/Scorp., Gemini/Sag., Cancer/Cap., Leo/Aq., Virgo/Pisc. -- then look up a famous person's chart and see if the same themes and axes are present -- although if they have completed a certain kind of karma, then they would then be working on a very different karmic lesson, and the two charts would be quite different.

Weiser's book is a specific set of all the possible major aspect delineations for males and females (ye who are gay and lesbian, you can choose for yourself who is supposed to be "who"!). It's a better book for figuring out the "why" of particular relationships in terms of karma, showing why we relate to each other the way we do. More of a daily handbook, but useful in that regard.

BTW, when you say Scarlett O'Hara, it makes me wonder if a literary character's birthdate _could_ match a living person's!

Only the most interesting aspects:

Moons conjunct (i suppose)
There is an interesting configuration - i have Sun square Saturn natally - exact. She has her Saturn square mine as well, by a degree. Basically, our Saturns are tightly opposite.
My DNA conjunct Her North Node
Her North Node is in Virgo, the same sign my Ascendant is, her NN in my 12th house
Our asteroids Spirit are conjunct by a degree.
Her Karma is conjunct my North Node less than a degree.
Her Sun is in the same sign as my IC, in my 4th house - Saggitarius.

But it gets more interesting when i compare it to the dracong chart!
In draconic - my Sun, Venus and Mercury goes to Sagitarius - where in her natal chart her Sun, Venus and Mercury are.

Her dr.Moon conjuncts my dr. Saturn (if the time would be right, the conjunction would be exact!)

My dr.Karma conjuncts her dr. Uranus exact
Her dr.Karma is opposite my dr. Uranus 1

Other connections as well. But i see the fact that my draconic Sun goes to her natal sign so revealing about draconic charts! Especially that my past life husband had his Sun sign in late degrees of Capricorn. And draconic chart of this person in this life has Sun in the same sign as this past life person!
