I read a lot about three types of Scorpios and I noticed this is also very true for Pisces. I divided them into 3 groups as well: The 1st type is Deep Sea Fish; These are typically mysterious, secretive, quiet and dreamy people. The 2nd type is very optimistic, hilarious and funny. These Pisceans are very kind hearted, easy going and always ready to help, I would name them Dolphins. And the 3rd type is Sharks. I’ve met 3 sharks and I was appalled how cynical, domineering, manipulative and even cruel they can be. They don't fit any of their Sun sign descriptions I've ever read. I suppose the distinction between three types in Sun sign should be made for each astro sign. What do you think?

I'd go with that - like with Librans and the scales, I think of it as like those cartoons with Donald Duck where he has a little angel on one side and a devil on the other - so: the 1st type would seemingly be the archtype of all things good, sweetness and light with the dimples and curls to match (the ) side. the 2nd type would be superficial, devious and calculated (the ) and the 3rd type would be a balance of both with a healthy dose of justice for all thrown in ( ) What do you think?

3 types of Capricorns? Hmmm....1. Materialists (money is everything, through material world they want to provide inner security). Inner feelings and emotions are not important too much. 2. Runners (under face of EGO and PRIDE they run whole life from something deep inside them. Because they are realists they think that that inner feelings are false). Usually they start to relay on that feelings after life experience. THey want to be saved. 3. Defenders (strong connected in their beliefs about life and everything. They are connected with their feelings. They stand ground, no matter what. Sometimes look world from wrong perspective. They want to save somebody. I hope I will make somebody laughing My point of view for Cappys. K.

Peri,I agree. I have to remind people that there are many types of fish in the seas & lakes. Everyone always thinks of cute little fishies, but there are sooo many other fish. I know that there are Pisces that are cruel & cynical, as well as those with the more likable traits. Every sun sign has an up side & a down side. I suppose it is up to each person, or fish, to swim upstream. ------------------ When the student is ready the teacher will appear. AKA - Kim Rogers IP: Logged |

This is fun Speaking for myself, I would divide Sagittariuses into SCHOLARS - quiet and serious but friendly. Deeply involved in some sort of study. Can be quite absent-minded and clueless about their appearances and other mundane things like food, their cars, etc. I have met many teachers like that FIREBALLS - passionate, brutally honest, with great love for freedom. Great speakers able to ignite groups of people with their ideas. Very much at home with nature and large animals. Often gifted with naturally good looks that don't need any enhancement. PLAYERS - Look... but don't touch. Kiss... but don't tell. Play... but don't get too serious. This is a love game in the land of fire. Usually they have worse reputation than they deserve because it's simply not possible to follow up on every flirt. Very conscious of their appearance and physical shape but half of the reason they go to the gym, pool, yoga class, etc. is because they can meet somebody there..lol IP: Logged |

*Drumroll* As I have noticed, here are the 3 Cancerian types, but I see aspects of all 3 in myself The Goofball/Courtjester: They like to laugh and make everyone laugh.....they're alot of fun to be around. Total clubheads (See Lindsay Lohan)-they love to party and have fun but may not be focused on the important things in life. Its not that they aren't deep, its just that they may be covering up just that-the emotional depth that they have. Most likely because of insecurities and/or an early emotional wound. Be careful ladies (and fellas too), some of these guys/girls are total players The MoonChild: Quiet and dreamy, they are the ones who have their heads in the clouds. They drive everyone around them crazy with their moods as change at the drop of a quarter. That's because they are easily affected by the phases of the moon. They're also easily affected by the moods of other people which also is why they retreat into our shells (Some call it empathy). Highly intuitive (maybe even psychic), do not even think of pulling a fast one on them-they can spot phoniness from a mile away.Oh, and everyone thinks they're sexy
Scrooge McCrab: This one is the bitter one who everyone comes to Lindaland to whine and complain about. Yeah I know, she's a cookiemonster. Yeah, he's mad cold.....I've heard it all before. This one's a grouch, is snappy, and holds the world in contempt. In love, he's not above playing mind games of manipulation and such to keep you where he wants you. (Hey don't look at me, is it my fault that you fall for it everytime?) In fairness to him, he may be suffering himself-maybe from a past emotional wound from childhood...or God knows what. If you don't want to be taken on emotional rollercoaster ride...run, don't walk, and look the other way....please.
The Crab has spoken.....*applause*

Dulce luna, The cancerians are great! I think I'm almost a mix of the Goofball and the Moonchild haha I'm a total jokester but that moon change, changes me! Awesome! Wow the pisces had me shaking my head yes! I have so VERY many Pisces in my life it's unreal... I know quite a few Sharks... They are just so manipulating and selfish. Don't take it that I don't like Pisces because My niece is such a sentive one and my one brother is super close to me... but my Father inlaw is a shark and an ex best friend who used me until she couldn't suck anymore life out of me. So I've had a mix. I'd love to see Virgo! My husband is one. I agree every sun sign has it's ups and downs. Good and bad.. but I'll admit this is very interesting! IP: Logged |

Dulce Luna,*and the crowd goes wild, whistles and applause!* I'd say I'm mostly the goofball and moonchild also. In the worst of crises, I make fun of the situation to get a laugh so no one else feels uncomfortable - the friends who really know the moonchild, though, just look you in the eyes and know the truth behind the jokes. The caps and saggies were interesting to me - I was dating a sag (cap moon) who fit the sag 2nd/3rd descriptions, and very much fit the first description for cap. Very smart, shallow, active outdoors, cared about fun, sex, and money only (Yeah, I know, but he WAS fun!), hard worker, unable to talk about an emotion even if it was biting him in the butt! I still haven't figured him out. Thanks for the info and a good laugh! IP: Logged |

Thanks Guys! I'm definitely a MoonChild on a regular day. The Courtjester comes out when I'm out partying at a club, Scrooge only comes out on a bad day but not to that extreme....I'm just kinda snappy and irritable. I think we all turn into the The Joker around the full moon.
I've also met Pisces who were sharks.*shudders* IP: Logged |

Zala,to tell the truth I don't know; but it doesn't seem to make sense to me that, for example, all Piseans with their Suns in the 2nd decanate are cynical and mean and those with their Suns in the 3rd are dreamy and mysterious. That would be too easy I think, although I believe decanate rulers do refine and individualize the sign's general characteristics. IP: Logged |

Don't think I could neatly categorize Aquarius into three typse. It's hard enough containing them into one. Maybe someone else could do the job.IP: Logged |

Good thread. Yes there do seem to be 3 typ[es of every sign, and i've heard them refered to as Decans before too. Take Aries for example. They are either sheep - followers and copiers, Rams - fighters, forge ahead, very competitive, or lambs - naive to each new day, naive and innocent and strangley fearless due to this naivity. I beleieve some people can be a mixture of the decans in varying proportions.------------------ 4th December 1974 18:00GMT Southampton U.K IP: Logged |

I agree with the premise, but picking three descriptions for Capricorns is tough. My own chart has a lot of interesting energy in it outside of Capricorn.IP: Logged |

Some astrologers divide every sun sign up into three reigions known as decantes. Each decante has a primary ruler and a subruler. Every first decante is double ruled by whatever planet that normally rules them. For example with pisces: 1st decante is double ruled by neptune. Adding an even greater dreamy/compassionate/otherwordly quality. 2nd decante is subruled by the moon. This adds more empathy, mood swings, and charity. 3rd decante is ruled by pluto. This adds intensity, focus, and sensetivity. IP: Logged |
