From another thread, pulled up the following regarding a challenging Moon/Neptune Aspect. I have a question for anyone who has experience with this :::

"If you are easily confused and impractical in your notions, if you daydream but rarely try to realize your dreams, if your moral fiber is not all it should be, chances are your Moon adversely aspects Neptune."

If you've had experience with this, how "done" was the "deal"? Where in the Chart, or from where inside of you, did you pull out tools to overcome those setbacks?

Hi AJ. My moon which is in Pisces is squared by Neptune from the 12th, so yes I have experienced the quote quite intense!!! hehe..

I think that the daydreaming/impractical notions need to be incorportated. I find i am very imaginative. This is of course negative and positive. I try to do creative things like paint, write, cook.
It doesn't stop my emotions going haywire at times, I have to fight the depression.
I think as years go by, you get to know yourself better, and can see when you are starting down a negative or destructive cycle.
Not sure if this helps you at all, i can't say I've conquered it. I will however say check your chart, there will be other aspects in there that give you strength and logic - earth signs and air signs. Or see where Saturn, Pluto and sometimes Jupiter/Mercury are. They act as a counter-balance.

I forgot to add - it is not all negative.

It gives you an ability to explore spirituality etc on a very deep level - negative and positive as equal. It gives you the ability to feel things from different perspectives and different realms. You never loose the childhood ability of imagination as real. The creative force is hightened, and strength is gained by having to 'fight' to realise it.
Generousity is there, the negative comes from not leaving enough for your own needs. It can be a selfless or very selfish placement - depending on how you channel the energy.

Neptune 4th house square moon 8th house.
Some of the more negative traits with this are balance out with other things in my chart. I love that part of my chart it lets me see things others can't, my mind is a funland of imagination it comes in handy with my artist side. I love the spiritual side of it as well I can literally see things others can't. And as a rule I love people unconditionally.
I think my virgo AC and neptune in capricorn helps me from becoming to out of control. But with all the good comes the bad to name a few:
I got Procrastination coming out the wazoo
I attract emotionaly draining women
I'm gullible
My imagination does from time to time run rampant
I'm Painfully sensitive
Helloooo Depression!
Can't be around anger or fighting

But lets get some perspective here, neptune aspects almost every thing in my natal chart so that one aspect is just one of many that contribute to my neptuneyness. Out of 12 planets my neptune aspects 9 as well as my AC MC DC IC and north node thats not incuding all the astroids.... good grief
Learning to deal with the negative side of neptune is difficult but the positive side is extremely rewarding!

Wow... although the challenging Aspect may create inconsistency in one's personalilty, the effect from one person to another seems to be QUITE consistent. I love to hear how one finds a way to overcome challenges like this.

I see that there is indeed some positive's here, as long as you catch yourself in time. Also, they say this is supposed to give one like MEGA ability to pick up on others vibes. Well, the link is up there, and so far everything said here is very much in keeping with it.

I have Moon (Pisces/11th) Square Neptune (Sagittarius/7th)...hence the name DayDreamer. The combination of an excessive imagination, daydreaming, and hence procrastination can leave me feeling stressed out. Sometimes making me go back to nonreality in order to forget about my worries. And once I come back to reality it can leave me feeling depressed till I get my work done. But when other people are depending on me I dont procrastinate. Im very sensitive and pick up vibes and what other people are thinking and feeling easily. Half the time though I get carried away with this if Im stressed and may make up things that arent really there (I think since it's square). Feels like Im in fog...but I think Im getting used to and better at finding my way through it.

I've also got Saturn/North Node (Virgo, 5th) opposing the Moon and squaring Neptune. Perhaps I have a chance to use my imagination for work and make it reality?...once I get ahold of my emotions. Im not the most emotionally expressive person and keep my imagination to myself...perhaps for fear of what others think or maybe because I dont think there's much of a purpose or use to it? Definitely my emotions and imagination running wild periodically can make me ill if I dont take preventative measures, or get back to reality in time. Fortunately, I am a very spiritual and religious person, and that's what helps me remain level headed and at the same time still be able live in a realm of other worldliness.

Edited:I have Moon Trine Uranus(Scorp/6th) too...so it's not all bad!
