Okay this is UBER random...but I'm in an extremely random mood.

Dogs are almost always associated with life long companions, the whole "only best friend" scenario, loyal, what not. They also have their own personalities.. So I was wondering...What kind of dog do you think would represent with your/any sign? Whether it's by stereotype, or written proof, or just whatever you want. Feel free to list every sign and what you feel as well

List your Sun/Moon/Venus/Jupiter or anything else if you feel it pertains to this

I have always been in love with Dobermans
I don't know whether they represent other Taureans (I actually doubt it) but they do represent me! A bit aloof outside but very emotional and intense inside, sensitive but definitely not weak, loyal but demanding - that's me. Is it my Pluto in the 8th? Sun conj IC in Taurus, Moon conj Neptune in Sag in XI, Mars conj Venus in Aries in II, ASC in Cappy, Uranus in Scorp on MC.

edited* I admit I do have a soft spot for cocker spaniels and badger dogs and all other dogs too!

Cocker spaniel - but I’m considering my whole chart.

Cute, lively, friendly…too friendly - not very good guard dog - trust me, I have one, I know

Btw Dobermans are gorgeous
German Shepard scare the hell out of me I don't think they like me.

I have a soft spot for Spaniels, Springers especially.

http://www.bluffton.edu/~sullivanm/maggie/puppyingrass.jpg

Spot, our Springer rescue:

http://www.puppy.co.nz/breeds/?b=69&p=E&pp=
"The pendulous ears, soft gentle expression, sturdy build and friendly, wagging tail proclaim the English Springer Spaniel unmistakably as a member of the ancient family of spaniels."

"The Springer is actively represented in obedience, agility, field trials and conformation shows. A people's dog, the Springer thrives on human companionship. Playful and patient with children, it loves nothing better than romping around and taking part in their games. Although normally quiet, the Springer nevertheless makes a good guard dog."

" Springers need human companionship, although they can snooze all day while their owners are at work as long as they get sufficient attention and exercise when the owners are at home. "

http://www.springerrescue.org/springers.html

I love dogs ~ we also have Cocker/Beagle/Hound mixes, and have had a Lab, a Collie/Sheperd mix, two Cocker Spaniels, and a Silky Terrier in the past.
Aries Sun, Gemini Moon conjunct Venus, Mars in Pisces.

Love cocker spaniels too. They're sooo friendly. You suit cocker spaniels WN

Cute question Alanabelle

I think I'd be a Husky. I've always wanted a Husky. They seem very dignified.

I'm Aries/Cap/Gemini..

:edit: Ok, this is what the Husky temperament is like apparently.. Temperament
The characteristic temperament of the Siberian Husky is friendly and gentle, but also alert and outgoing. He does not display the possessive qualities of the guard dog, nor is he overly suspicious of strangers or aggressive with other dogs. Some measure of reserve and dignity may be expected in the mature dog. His intelligence, tractability, and eager disposition make him an agreeable companion and willing worker.

It kinda half suits me lol

Definitely a border collie: super smart, easily bored, hyper, agile, needs lots of activity and space, independant yet very loyal and loving.

For most of my life I've been TERRIFIED by any dogs, and it all came from an incident I had with a Great Dane when I was three. But despite that, I've always wanted a Great Dane, more than anything. I always said I'd overcome my fear to have one..

and i have!! :-D I plan on getting on this xmas :-D.

Idk they've always appealed to me, cuz they look so insanely like powerful and overbearing but also so beautiful and so incredibly graceful :-D

....Virgo.........
................ a greyhound!

Just look at those eyes! Look how god damned alert it looks!....and yet, how sweet! lol yep that's definately us.... they have a typical (not always true) stereotype of running (or being nerdy librarians!) but really all they're looking for is a lil' love. Apparently they're very affectionate and people are always dumping them in pounds!
Love uuuussss, for god's sake love us!

Scottish Terrier!

From http://www.vetdnacenter.com/dog-breeds/Scottish_Terrier.html The Scottish Terrier is a sturdy, strong, compactly built small dog breed with short legs and erect ears, offering a lot of dog in a small space. Its sharp expression is augmented by its distinctive beard and eyebrows. The "Scottie" is a loyal dog to its owners and loves to be pampered. The Scottish Terrier is a self-assured and alert dog breed that makes a good watch dog. Loyal with their owners, the Scottish Terrier may be aloof with strangers and aggressive with other dogs.

Scotties in my experience are loyal, friendly to those who have a soft spot for 'em, and are a small, strong package with a big loud bark.

My boy is a Virgo... with a Leo moon! Goes great with my Scorpio Sun, Leo moon, Scorpio Mars and Venus and Pisces Jupiter!

My dog (currently) is a Yorkie. Her bday is 8/19/98

that makes her a Leo Sun/Cancer Moon

she's the most affectionate little thing ever! she DESPERATELY needs attention, too. she refuses to sleep in her little doggie house, so she has her own bedroom, exercise room, even a CLOSET with little outfits.

tell me about spoiled!!

I've always identified with Greyhounds. Great topic, by the way. Here is what this breed is apparently like:
The Greyhound shines as a pet in a quiet household. He is sensitive, easily distracted, and somewhat distressed by noise and bustle. He's good with considerate children past the toddling stage, and he gets along well with other dogs. Cats, however, can be another story; he may consider them prey and chase them whenever the opportunity arises.

Unlike breeds that must be socialized as puppies to temper their dominant tendencies, the Greyhound needs early socialization to give it confidence and build self assurance. A Greyhound puppy that is not accustomed to noise and people at an early age can be excessively fearful of loud or persistent sounds and painfully timid with strangers.

The Greyhound's sensitive nature makes obedience training necessary and time-consuming. Training does build confidence and help forge a bond between dog and owner, but Greyhound owners must be extra patient and gentle to avoid unduly stressing the dog.

Like all sighthounds, Greyhounds must not be allowed to run free, for they may end up in the next state when they come to a halt. The drive to run and hunt is deeply ingrained, so fenced yards and leashes are a must.

yup, that's me. Especially that very last bit.

I don't know enough about dogs to choose one for myself, so I guess I deserve this test result:

AG, you're a Golden Retriever!
No bones about it, you're a popular, fun-loving Golden Retriever. Adored by all and too cool for school, you're extroverted and enthusiastic. Your magnetic personality makes you the life of any bash. Since you're a true people-dog, you genuinely love all kinds of social gatherings. Going to parties, dinners, and other shindigs is the best way to add faces to your constantly growing circle of friends. But besides being on the social A-list, you're a confident, well-rounded pup who's definitely something to bark about. Pretty accomplished at anything you set your mind to, your sunny nature and winning ways make you one of everyone's favorite dogs. Woof!

Pisces here, completely inept at writing in italics, doing cute smilies, and especially posting pics! But my favorite breeds are definitely of the Toy variety, and especially: Pugs, Poms, and Pekingese They cater to my weakness for all that's short fat and furry.

lol by that test I'm a..

What Breed of Dog Are You?
Lauren, you're a Bernese Mountain Dog! No bones about it, you're a good-hearted, people-loving Bernese Mountain Dog. Down-to-earth and loyal, no one works or plays harder than you do. You put your nose to the grindstone when it really counts, but you never neglect your social calendar (lol, I DO neglect my social calendar). Simultaneously strong and sweet, you're very tuned-in to the feelings and needs of the other dogs you run with. Without having to be asked, you always have a helping paw to lend and a sympathetic shoulder to lean on. "Communication" is your middle name, and when that's paired with your unswerving devotion, you get a breed that everyone respects and trusts. Woof!

Cassy, you're a Great Dane

As a Great Dane, you are natural leader and a vision of nobility. With your dignified manner, you command respect from those around you, and that's because you strike an even balance with the most valued of work ethics. You may appear quiet on the outside, but inside, you're often looking for new challenges and the opportunity to go head-to-head against others. It is because you pick your battles, that you often emerge as a surprise winner when all is said and done. With you around, the meeting's never really over until you've had your last thought and voiced your last word.

AG, you're getting us all to do this test but I really wanted to be a German Shepard.

Alanabelle, take the test maybe you're also a Great Dane.

Cassy,

I'm kind of glad you took that test, because a German Shepard once bit a little chunk out of my ear. PLUS, Great Danes are so awesome! There used to be one that lived a couple streets over from where I lived, and I'd always stop to pet him. Such a nice and calm dog.
