I need some guidance here folks. I think I am coming to a crossroads in terms of my job...imagine that (damn Saturn Return). I feel like my attempts to get ahead in my career over the past few years have repeatedly been met with obstacles. Maybe I am just not in the field I should be in. No matter the amount of hardwork...overtime...sweat and tears I pour into my job and knowing it from front to back...I end up getting stuck with a paycheck that feels oddly out of line for what I am doing. I feel like everyone around me manages to find these great positions that allow them to advance or find better positions with better pay. I seem to be stuck no matter what I do. Add to that the fact that i am currently working two jobs to make ends meet and I am becoming increasingly frustrated. I have worked for my present company for 3 years now. I ran their Contract Administration Department for the first two years, won three company awards and was given a tremendous amount of responsibility...but was only making a salary just shy of $30,000 and with a college degree no less. This is a builder that is the largest in my state and closes over 500 homes a year. So...in an interest to make more money and try and give myself more possibilities, I went to class, got my real estate license and switched over to a sales rep. position within the same company. Lo and behold, the housing market has slowed considerably and I am now no better off than I was in the previous position. I bust my butt marketing, making contacts, being in the sales model 6 days a week...nothing is helping. The buyers I do meet absolutely love me and often rave to my boss about my abilities and how it was such a pleasure to work with me, but people just aren't buying houses right now. I need a little guidance here...am I not getting ahead because I'm not in the career I should be in??? I am posting my chart so that someone can give me some insights or some directio here. It feels like it shouldn't be this hard.

Hi Lulu!

I will save the astrological comments in depth for those more qualified, but during my Saturn return, 14 years ago now (wow time flies!), I began to "feel" the urge to change careers and it took me a few years to materialize it, but I went from a banking managment position to a RN.

And that would have never of happened if my 2nd daughter, born during my Saturn return had not have been born with a severe heart defect. I spent LOTS of time in hospitals, with doctors and nurses and the like and I found my "calling."

The point to my story is to pay attention to the less obvious subtlties that are going on now in your life. If you are feeling the need to make a change, and that is the feeling that I get from you, then you will be lead in the right direction, basically follow your heart.

So many people look for earth shattering events with the Saturn return, and many times earth shattering things happen, but events are often not so outwardly obvious, read between the lines!

Good luck to you

Terri
