Here is a synastry chart for me and my father. I am curious what you think our relationship is like. I figure this is a good way to see if the synastry and composite is accurate- so please offer your opinions- I guess this is like a research experiment! I will say later if your interpretations are right or wrong... thanks everyone

Looking only at stressful aspects in the synastry chart:
- Saturns (duty, also authority) square (energy needs to be combined with) could indicate authority issues between you as each of your fought to be "in charge"

- His Saturn (duty, also restriction) square your Mars (being, also action) could indicate he restricted your actions somehow

- His Pluto (transformation, also power) square your Sun (self-expression) could indicate he overpowered your way of expressing yourself

- His Pluto square your Mercury (thinking, also talking) could indicate he overpowered your speaking somehow

- His Sun conjunct (energy is combined with) your Midheaven (outer world) could indicate his self-expression to you was always on display somehow

His Mercury conjunct your Midheaven could indicate he talked/thought about you a lot in the outer world somehow

These possible issues would have been strongest when you were a child. Later, with time, you might have been able to work out these energy challenges with your father.

saturn is on the ascendant indicating a strong imprint by the dad.the moon and the venus/mars midpoint is trine to saturn so this would show a love for the dad.but trines often can not offset more stressful aspects.mars is square to venus giving great passion and affection in the relationship,but uranus is square the venus/mars midpoint and moon,which can show intensity of emotions but either positive or negative .uranus bring a element of separation into the mix.it can be asscoiated with adoption.but with moon there is the possiblity of great anger and arguements.saturn is semisquare chiron showing a rather strict and picky attitude from the dad.this overly critical attitude is also reflected in that chironn is square to the sunmercury conjunction,with the sun/mercury sesquiquadrate to saturn.these together picture a untolerate dad with astrongly repressive attitude.jupiter is opposed to pluto and uranus.this bring a potential violent aspect to the chart but the neptune trine/sextile to this opposition
will tend to smooth this possibility out.a mars/pluto midpoint square to the venus/mars midpoint also shows a harsh physical situation.though the moon would symbolize you,as a symbol for the mother it shows a separation.
the uranus/pluto conjunction really gives vibrationof abrupt changes in this rrelationship.with the jupiter opposition,the image of legal intervention come in to play,though it could also symbolize your grandparents as part of the intervention.
actually this situation seems like it got out of hand this year.starting in the summer around june,it seems that there could have been a intense arguements through august.this is when legal or outside intervention may have been called.this situation was finally resolve in early nov,or the negativity finally peaked in nov.
whatever it looks like a lot of turbulence in the past few months.
