Could anyone please tell me of any threads on this or any of the other Forums here which give indicators in the chart of people having met before in past lives?

Hope that makes sense.

"There is no definite contact between two charts which identifies the two people as soulmates or twin flames. Yet, there are several different connections between charts which may indicate that two people are soulmates or that they have strong karma between them. When there are several of these connections between two charts or even when one connection is extremely strong, it is a high probability that the two people are soulmates.

1.One of the classic marks of a strong relationship is a close conjunction between one person's Sun and the other person's Moon. Squares and oppositions are also strong, but the soft angles of trines and sextiles are not strong indicators in and of themselves. However, if there are other
indicators, then the trines and sextiles certainly add to the strength of the relationship.
Close contacts between one person's Sun and another person's Ascendant are also strong indicators of Soulmate possibilities. Conjunctions are strongest with squares and oppositions also strong.

2. One Moon or Moon ruler conjunct the other's IC or IC ruler. Here the Moon representing the past is compared with the IC, symbolizing one's roots in the past.
Sometimes the Moon of one will be on the IC (4th-house cusp) of the other. Sometimes the planetary ruler of the Moon in one chart will be conjunct the IC of the other. Sometimes both Moons may be conjunct or the Moon ruler of one will be on the IC of the other.
Example: Banderas & Griffth--His IC ruler conjunct her IC.

3. Strong Sun/Saturn ties. These may be between natal charts in synastry or in the composite chart of the couple, in which Sun and Saturn may be conjunct or square each other. This could result in a bond which is
hard to break if impossible and even if the two people separate for one rason or another - the bond between them cannot be broken. One variation of this is that the Sun and Saturn may not only be in aspect in the composite, but the composite Sun may be on the natal Saturn of one of the pair. Moon/Saturn conjunction/opposition or squares also portend past life connection, usually husband/wife type of connection.
Example: Richard & Henrietta King of the famous King Ranch in Texas. In their composite chart, they had five planets conjunct in Cancer, including Sun and Saturn.

4. If one person's nodes are prominent in another person's chart, this is significant. Examples would be if the nodes of one person were square the nodes of the other person, if the nodes of one person were along the other person's Ascendant/Descendant, or if the nodes of one person were conjunct/opposite/square the Sun or Moon of the other person .

5. Sun/Neptune contacts are also indicators of soulmate relationships .
Sun/Neptune contacts indicate a feeling of merging into each other, which can be quite exhilarating.
Often it is hard to tell where one person ends and the other person begins. The two people frequently have a strong psychic connection as well as a other types of connections.
In a synastry birth chart comparison for Paul and Linda McCartney -- Paul's Neptune was found to be conjunct Linda's Sun and Linda's Neptune was found to be squared Paul's Sun (a double whammy). Linda's Neptune was also conjunct Paul's Ascendant

6. If the two persons have their angles square one another, this is a strong point of synastry. For instance, if one person's Ascendant/Descant is square the other person's Ascendant/Descendant, or if one person's Ascendant/Descendant is conjunct the other person's Midheaven/IC, then this is a strong karmic indicator, usually a Soulmate one of some kind.

7. You Are My Destiny - (Vertex - Destiny's Gate).
Cross aspects between the Sun, Moon, Venus and/or Ascendant in person A's chart and
person B's birth Vertex. This is especially true with conjunctions. Again, look for a double whammy

8. Your 12th house is said to represent the karma you are working on in this lifetime, often from your most recent past life. If there are conjunctions between the rulers of or planets in your 12th house and a partner's 12th houses, you may feel a strong connection to the other person. The link may
reveal some mutual karma to work out in this life together. Often the planets and houses involved show what that karma might be.
Example: Newman & Woodward--Their 12th-house planets conjunct.

9. Immortal Lovers -
The Immortal Lovers concerns the minor asteroids named Eros and Psyche.
If this is a relationship between a male and female -- then first look for the male's birth Eros conjuncting the female's birth Psyche. Finding this cross aspect between lovers is fairly rare.....

10. Yet one more indicator might be that the Part of Marriage for one person falls upon a
significant placement of another person's chart.
Some astrologers also use the Parts of Fascination and Part of Karma when looking for Soulmate connections.
