Topic: Where is ruler of your 7th house?

Hello,I have ruler of 7th in 10th (Capricorn house) and I meet always men from some higher position, mostly of them are Capricorn's. As my Venus is in 8th (Pluto house), there are also many Scorpios or better, AC Scorpio.

My 7th house is Aries, and I have my Mars in Scorpio, my second house.What is about this?
My Venus is in Scorpio too.

Joking apart, I also believe there are other aspects that needs to be taken into account before coming into a final conclusion, ain't it?

My ruler of the seventh is also in my second! I hate talking about money and the topic makes me nervous. Always caused problems in my household! But maybe it could mean I will be possessive or he could be a possessive type?!?!?IP: Logged |

I have ruler of my 7th Pluto in 5th house - I guess I'm attracted to fiery guys(Leo house), and guys who are artistic (5th), I've been attracted to a couple of Scorpios (Pluto) but it never ends up in a relationship, usually strong and lasting friendship
Incidentally I've had alot of experiences (5) where I've been in a relationship with someone and then it ends and they marry the next person they're involved with - what's that about  IP: Logged |

The ruler of my 7th, Venus, lies in my 4th---Gawd--heaven forbid if I attract Cancers...do not like them, bad expereinces with Cancer men....Nor am I attracted to such... I have a huge Aquarian influence, including Mars in Aqua all in the 3rd and I always attract Aquarians and like intellectual types, like Gems.... For me it is more of the Mars sign in the chart of a woman... Ewwwww...just to think of gushy, motherly type 4th house men...ewwwwww

 I meant nurturing and not VERY nurturing !
As i have Uranus in 4th it shows a healthy combination of air and water. My other half has an Aquarius Venus in the 6th ( he cooks, washes, cleans for me ) and a Pisces Moon ( sooo romantic and caring ) IP: Logged |

ruler of my 7th house saturn is in my first house.Doesnt ring a bell at all.I'm not attracted to capricorns, not to aries types. In terms of capricorn placements I've only noticed that I like men with capricorn venus (which falls in my 7th house and conjunct to my sun. From my own experience I would agree with Hippichick that it's much more my mars giving an idea about my 'type'. My mars is in saggittarius, closest aspect is with uranus. I LOVE men with ideals and all the men I've been in love with share a strong jupiter (e.g. jupiter in the 1st house or saggitt. ascendant. Also I'm strongly drawn to aquas.IP: Logged |

The ruler of my 7th house is Pisces and I have Neptune in Scorpio in the 3rd house. The thing is... I also have my Moon in Aries in the 7th house and Neptune shares my 3rd house with Venus in Sag. My husband's 7th house ruler is Pisces and he has Neptune in Sag in his 3rd house. IP: Logged |

Natasha - Yes, Scorpio AC is even better. (That's my asc.)  Sorry, my Moon in Leo wanted me to say that.My 7th house ruler is in my 3rd house. I noticed recently that every single one of my boyfriends has had a prominent Mercury: one had Mercury right on his asc., one had Mercury in his first house conjunct Venus & Mars, and all the rest had Mercury conjunct their Sun. I have MErcury, as the ruler of my 7th house, in my 1st house conjunct my Sun.
Does that mean I am in love with myself?  Seriously, I have noticed that I have a thing for those Aries-men; a few years ago it was more intense than today. This year seems to have been the year of the Capricorn (or Earth-men in general).
Well, the ruler of my 7th house is also solstice conjunct the ruler of my 10th house, maybe that does figure in a bit. Or it is just my Venus in Capricorn. I don`t know. Oh, and Jane, yes, with the ruler of the 7th house in the 3rd house, you should feel attracted to men who have the ruler of 1st house in 3rd house, or Mercury in 1st house, or Mercury in strong aspect to Sun or Mars or ASC.
Hmm, I guess if I was a man, I would be a good catch for you- ruler of 1st house in 3rd house, Mercury conjunct Sun in the 1st house. lol
But with Gemini at the cusp of my 7th house, I understand that need for Mercurian stimulation. I do feel attracted a lot to Mercurian men, too, but interestingly they tend to have a strong Virgoan vibe, too. Gemini alone is somehow too unreliable for me, not serious enough. I guess, I cannot forget about my Venus in Capricorn totally. The targets of my attraction (that sounded quite Mars-like, target, didn`t it? need to have some EArth or Water; even though my whole other chart is in Fire and Air. But at least the Venus has to be in an Earth or Water sign. So give me someone with a Venus in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn or Pisces; add some strong Mercury to this (Gemini or Virgo-ascendant; Mercury conjunct Mars or Sun; Mercury in the 1st house) and please, a Pisces, CAncer or Capricorn Mars? (my Capricorn-vEnus would just love that Cancer or Capricorn-Mars; and my Mars conjunct Neptune gets along well with a Pisces Mars). Oh yes, and synastrically, there has to be a strong aspect from Saturn to Sun or Moon. I don`t know the reason for this, but there has always been a square from Saturn to Sun or a conjunction, square or opposition from Saturn to Moon. Hey, I know how to set myself up for some pain.
*Sighs* astroLOGICALLY I should rather go for those ARies, Libra, Aquarius, Leo types, with my stellium in Sagittarius in 1st house and my Moon in Aquarius.
But somehow I always fall for the wrong signs - except for Aries-.

Hello hipichick,You are right, where you have Mars, you attract those men. Somebody yes, somebody no. I have Mars in Leo, but I don't like Leo's. I like more AC Leo. There are more rules about partner: look in what house is Mars (maybe 2nd), then you like second sign, Taurus. Other look, where is the ruler of 7th. I have seen more women with Venus, ruler of 7th in 2nd, they have rich partner.
Other example: somebody is AC Cancer, he likes opposite sign, Capricorn.

Hello Jane,Ascendant Scorpio is definitely my right AC (about 5 degrees), because my Sun and Venus fall in their 7th house.
I have collection of the people born with AC Scorpio. There is magnet between us, doesn't mean is that man or woman (don't misunderstand me, I am normal). Natasha

I found your explanation for who I'd be attracted to based on the location of the ruler of my 7th house very interesting & of course very accurate--every boyfriend I've had has had at least one of those placements. Talk about having a type!
Do you think the same type of pattern could be used with the ruler of the 5th house? My ruler is in my 2nd house. So that would mean I'm attracted to men with Venus in the 1st house or Venus in strong aspect to Sun or Mars or asc. Off the top of my head, 3 of my bf's have had Venus in their 1st house. I also have a thing for Taurus (but explaining or increasing that preference is having taurus on my dsc.).
Oh my, I just did the 5th house thing for my bf's chart & I meet the requirements. So maybe the 5th house ruler is revealing too.
For men, would the same pattern apply? Would a man with the ruler of his 7th house in the 3rd be attracted to a woman who has Mercury aspecting her Sun, Mars, &/or asc, or instead of her Sun & Mars would it be her Moon & Venus?natasha -
