Soma was an intoxicant, a type of wine used in Vedic rituals in India (offered to the fire), but I'm not sure what the context is here?? Perhaps it shows the capacity for the individuals to 'intoxicate' each other?

Nemesis.. interesting.. I would think an enemy? But why would we look at it in Synastry?

I`m confused about Kama.

I read that he was the god of love and desire, but that when he shot Shiva to get him to direct his attention towards Parvati, he has been burned by Shiva himself, and later on he has been resurrected but without a body.

So, I`m very unclear how to interprete this.

Does he respresent some kind of love without the participation of physical attraction?

I just thought about the eros-Pluto-Persephone - myth.

Well, did Siva rape Parvati, too?
I was always quite shocked about that.

And funny coincidence, or scary coincidence, I jsut realized that P has an exact Eros-Persephone-conjunction, which closely opposes my Pluto.
His Pluto is widely, but very very widely, conjunct my Persephone (5,5°).
Of course there is also a Persephone- Pluto-square in the composite, which sort of connects to our Psyche / Neptune - Eros / Karma-opposition by quinkunx.

WEll, is Eros-Kama only a messenger, a force which connects OTHER people, but then again there is the Eros-Psyche-myth indicating that Eros is capable of loving personally himself.
HOw about Kama, has he got both, too? The ability to connect other people to each other, and the ability to find a consort himself?
