I agree with writesomething. Taurus-Venus are absolutely fabulous, and when that conjuncts the Sun...so yes, Venus in Taurus is hotter for me. IP: Logged |

I would say 50/50 for a man not being any hotter than having a venus in scorpio. If that venus in scorpio man has a VERY weak mars (I can not stand cancer and pisces mars guys...way too weak and passive...and this is coming from a cancer sun WITH a cancer mars)...nope not sexy...but pair that with a nice lusty taurus, hot scorp, controlled cap, or fiery leo mars then he's pretty freaking hot IP: Logged |

I need a Venus in Capricorn to oppose my Mars in Cancer...now that would be interesting or Venus in Aries ------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer "I seem to have the blind self-acceptance of the eccentric who can't conceive that his eccentricities are not clearly understood" IP: Logged |

I like scorpio venus for the depth.. You can open up to them and know that they won't take it superficially. Other than that, I can't say I've ever been sexually attracted to one. :edit: OMG I must be losing it.. my bf has a Scorpio Venus LOL.. I'm an idiot. Ok so I guess I have been attracted to *one* hehe For a second, as I was typing that.. I thought he had a Capricorn Venus and Scorpio Mars - but they are the other way around IP: Logged |

GrlyGirl: the guy who inspired me to make the first post has Mars in Pisces..he is definitely not "weak" ..he is very dominant and err..aggressive/rough :OMaybe it just works out for me because I also have Scorp Venus and Pisces Mars .. his moon is in Virgo and his sun in Sagittarius <3 ------------------ Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon No man is free who is not master of himself. Oh meow! I work at a gym, and there's a member who is SO FINE who takes it upon himself to chat it up with me on occasion. One day, he casually gave me his birth information. (After talking about Sun signs a bit, I tried to be nonchalant and dive in deeper, and he ate it up.) I don't have any personal experience with him (as in, one-on-one or sexual), but he's a Sag with Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Capricorn and I have never in my entire life seen a more gorgeous, delicious man. Yes, I consider him something to be consumed. IP: Logged |

This idea makes sense. My Mars is in Taurus, and I'm definitely feeling this thread. I'm addicted to Venusian-Scorps. My favorite has a Sun-Venus conjunction in Scorpio, and I'm painfully in love with the man. And as an Aries with Venus in Aquarius, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense (at least to me), but I cannot get enough. I simply cannot stay away. I don't know any Venusian-Taureans besides my sister, but y'all have me wondering now. IP: Logged |

Yes, Venus in Scorpio is hot but sometimes the vindictiveness and jealousy takes over and that can be a real turn-off.My man has Venus in Scorpio and I have Mars in Scorpio, and yes, it can be dynamite. IP: Logged |

Augentier....the guy who broke my heart was a venus in scorpio guy with mars in pisces...so I know that they can be somewhat dominant...but not nearly enough when it matters like when it comes to arguments...they're nice for girls who like someone a little softer...but I'm a very strong girl (lots of mars aspects...not to mention my mars in the 1st house...cap moon and pluto aspects...) so I need a guy who is as strong as me...and pisces mars does not fit that at all. Not to mention they are WAY to wishy washy...but that's because of his sag sun/moon and that's not a scorpio trait at all. But I will admit he and I had a GREAT physical relationship...it's just everything else he was too much of a softie for me...but yeah I am still in love with him completely. I blame my softie cancer self for that. IP: Logged |

Many people know about the lunar nodes only, but the moon is not the only object that have nodes. other heavenly bodies do too.The node refers to the point at which a heavenly body crosses the extended plane of another planet's orbit. All the physical heavenly bodies have nodes. Not only do the Moon and planets have nodes,so do the minor planets that include asteroids, centaurs, and kuiper belt objects. The Node Book, written by Zipporah Dobyns in 1973, has information about the nodes of the Moon, planets, and the 4 major asteroids. Jeffrey Wolf Green believes that the planetary nodes are insightful into evolutionary astrology and that the south planetary nodes can give insights into pastlives. It is thought that aspects to a planetary node is like an aspect to that planet itself. It is possible to get both geocentric and heliocentric nodes for the planets. Planetary nodes are regularly used in Heliocentric Astrology. Philip Sedgwick wrote a book about heliocentric astrology called SUN AT THE CENTER. The heliocentric north and south nodes of heavenly bodies are always opposite each other. That is not the case for the geocentric nodes except for the lunar nodes. The more distant, the object, the more likely they will be closely opposite of each other. http://www.considerations-mag.com/articles/geocentricPlanetary.htm http://www.astrologysoftware.com/resources/articles/getarticle.asp?ID=174 http://www.astrologyhoroscopes.info/planetnodes.htm http://www.heliocentric-astrology.com/Heliocentric_Planetary_Nodes.html http://www.astrologycosmobiology.com.au/planetary_nodes.html You can calculate planetary nodes with Solar Fire and Kepler also Jonathan Dunn's ephemeris calculates node of heavenly bodies. I definitely use it to find nodes of minor planets. I have been checking out personal name asteroid nodes in charts..especially in evolutionary astrology to check out insights into karmic, evolutionary lessons with certain people. www.megadelfi.com/~jonathan/pos/
Riyal software also calculates numerous astronomical points, coordinates www.expreso.co.cr/centaurs/riyal.html
the geocentric planetary nodes can be used in synastry. I read that south geocentric planetary nodes of personal planets can be indicators of karmic pastlife connections. My girlfriend's South Venus Node conjuncts my Mars with 20 minutes of arc,and my South Mars Node oppose her Venus with 29 minutes of arc. That could indicate karmic pastlife as lovers. www.synastry.us/soulmate_indicators.asp
Here is something from Zipporah Dobyn's book, The Node Book.
The geocentric north and south nodes of the inner planets, Mercury and Venus, may appear in any zodiacal sign. The nodes of Mercury can range from a conjunction when they are lined up with the Sun twice a year at 17 degrees of Taurus and Scorpio, on the north and south heliocentric nodes, to a maximum separation of about 45 degrees. The Venus Nodes similarly line up with the Sun at 16 degrees of Gemini and Sagittarius,on the heliocentric positions, and their maximum separation is about a quintile of 72 degrees. The geocentric nodes of Mars range from about 7 Aries to 2 Cancer for the north node and about 8 Libra to 29 Sagittarius for the south node. As the distance from the Sun increases, the viewpoints of Sun and Earth converge so that the geocentric nodes remain within smaller arcs until with Pluto, there is little difference between the geocentric and the heliocentric positions. I found Zipporah Dobyns Node Book very informative and insightful http://www.astrology-books.com/store/dobyns_zipporah.html IP: Logged |
